Ophelia :

she really didn’t have any plans after college , but when Ophelia’s roommate ( and best friend ) Aurora had offered her to come stay with her at her old family farm in henford on bagley she couldn’t resist . it was away for her to get way from the safety net of will creek . it was a call for adventure and a chance at self discovery . for several weeks her life couldn’t have been better . she played with animals , tend gardens , and experience the way of simple living . then she slowly started to notice the way her heart beats a little faster every time she sees Aurora , how her smile can make her sour day a little sweeter , how a quick glance at her turn into a longing gaze , and how she feels sad when she can’t hold her in her arms at night . Ophelia was slowly starting to realize that she’s falling in love with her best friend . but , there’s a problem , Aurora is engaged and her fiancé is their other roommate . will Ophelia muster up enough courage to tell Aurora how she feels , or will she watch from the front row as the love of her life marry somebody else ?

Aurora :

all her life , Aurora had been playing it safe . she did whatever her parents wanted her to do , be it taking honor classes , join a certain sport team , or setting her love life around something that was comfortable for them . so , when her childhood best friend ask her to be his girlfriend , she felt that she had to say yes ( because he was someone her parents approved of ) . for four years they dated and Aurora couldn’t help , but feel a little icky inside because she felt nothing romantic for Edmund . But , when he asked her to marry him in front of her friends and parents , she sunk under the pressure again and said yes . now , she , Edmund , and her best friend from college are all living under one roof . when her aunt gave her the opportunity to clean up and run an old family farm , she couldn’t help , but take it . she felt that it was a chance for her to discover her self a little more . as the days go by , she starts to feel something arising inside her every time she’s with Ophelia . she notices her longing stares and wished that they were a little longer . she sees how with just one silly gesture from her could make her so happy . she often wishes that it was her arms that was holding her at night instead of somebody else . Aurora then started to daydream about her saying yes to marrying Ophelia instead of Edmund . she couldn’t help but feel scare at the growing feelings inside of her . as the days to her wedding draw closer , the hope inside her starts to grow too . will she follow her heart and take the path that it’s leading her on or will she walk down the isle to the life that is already set for her ?

Edmund :

he doesn’t know what he wants . his heart would tell him to go for one thing , but then his brain would start to rationalize and say that he shouldn’t . when he had met Aurora , Edmund knew that he had to keep her in his life . he was at a very young age and he was losing lots of friends because of his indecisiveness . then Aurora had been the new girl in school and she was so nice to him . she treated him more human than anyone else ever did . every time he would mess up or pushed her away she would still find a way to stick to him . she meant more to him than anybody else . as they got older , he started to fear losing her , so he did what he thought was rational at the time , he asked her to be his girlfriend . the years went by without a problem , but then they were graduating college and he started to fear losing her again , so he followed his dumb brain again and asked her to marry him . that decision had haunted him everyday after . Now , as he stayed awake at night in town that he doesn’t know , in a house that feels a little too tight , and with Aurora in his arms , he feels so horrible . he doesn’t feel anything for her . each day that he was out on that farm he learns something new about himself and one of those many things is his sexuality . the fear of realizing that he’s something that he’s not and that he could potentially lose his best friend paralyzed him so much that he felt he had to keep up the act . now that he’s getting closer to the alter , will he let the fear keep controlling him or will he finally stand up to it and decide for what he really wants once and for all ?

hello everyone ! i would like to start off by saying thank you so much for reading my post all the way until the end . i know that it was quite long and i had a lot to say about each character . writing lore for my gameplay characters is new to me and this first time was a little horrendous , but never the less , i love how it turned out . if there are areas in my writing where i can improve please let me know ! I’m open to constructive criticism . that is all i want to say about my writing . moving on , i hope you find these characters interesting and grow to love them as much as i do ! i do plan on updating on them as i go on . there will also be other characters to introduce soon ! please stay tune ! this will be the end of my thread for now , until next time friends !
