its winter in my game now and all my farmer's outfits were very warm-weather, so i gave em a winter fit and wanted to draw it :]

did a fit lineup for miss alia tabris to get back into the habit of designing / drawing armors...design notes under the cut :D

alia favors simple and somewhat masculine fits; she doesn't enjoy being in fancy clothes of any sort unless zevran got her said fancy clothes as a gift and he's the only one around to see it. her camp and sleep outfits are very simple, and she hates wasting coin replacing clothing, so they're both somewhat tattered.

she's very thin due to being malnourished at the game's start, and her warden armor is a size or two too big; they didn't have anything small enough for it. it's still the nicest thing alia's ever owned, so she doesn't mind. she really enjoys feeling her body grow into it over the course of the game.

i wanted to redesign the wedding dress to make it more distinctive from the other places that dress is used in the game; i kept the basic shape and colours, but simplified it down, figuring the alienage probably wouldn't have the coin for the sort of fancy dress we see in-game. the bodice i added has its basic design sense borrowed from some of inquisition's elvhen armor, since i figured folks at the alienage would want to integrate some of their heritage into the styling, even if only in little ways.

she gets the scar on her brow battling trough howe's estate! the wound looked worse than it was.

by the time of awakening, she's got some custom warden commander armor made; it fits her perfectly and implements more battlemage elements, since she's coming into her mage-ness by this point. this is also about where she switches to fingerless gloves, since that makes it easier for her to channel magic.

then, by witch hunt, alia has disappeared from the order for a few months; she's traded out the warden armor because she doesn't want folks to know at a glance she's a warden (and, by this point, the populace definitely knows the warden colours), particularly because chunks of the order are actively looking for her — they want her to come back, while alia feels like she's a bad leader so she's trying to stay out of sight and let nate run things. she's certainly willing to pull the Commander Of The Grey card, such as to get into the circle or take finn with her, but by the time that info can get back to the wardens who are looking for her, she's gone.
