So um, let me get it straight - it is absolutely fine for white people to dress up as Native Americans, Egyptians, Geishas or do Black face for Halloween, but Santa can’t be Black? No, this is not how it works. “But Real Santa is white!” Santa Claus is a fictional character, he DOESN’T even exist! Now do me a favor and sit cho asses down, that grandpa is as adorable as one can be.

My kink is husbands & wives who are still portrayed as very much in love with each other, because even after years of commitment and kids, they still talk to each other, go on fun random adventures and try new things. No resentment. No portrayal of marriage as a chore. Just actual love.

is anyone else annoyed by the stereotype that young people’s phones are a loud and annoying device? because i have never heard anyone under 30 who doesn’t have their phone on vibrate. like 100% of the time if the marimba ringtone starts blaring it’s the older generations.

We must do something to change something. It’s so obvious. When you know the system was not built to protect you , you need to create a new one that values black lives just like others. It’s a tough road, but it’s better than to just experience oppression every day and do nothing  about it.

Black people earn less, less likely to get a job, they get stopped by the police at a higher rate than white people,  black men are much more likely to be arrested and incarcerated than white men, black people get assaulted on the streets for their skin color,- is that freedom?

it seems so strange to me that the only people it is socially acceptable to live with (once you reach a certain stage in life) are sexual partners? like why can’t i live with my best friend? why can’t i raise a child with them? why do i need to have sex with someone in order to live with them? why do we put certain relationships on a pedestal? why don’t we value non-sexual relationships enough? why do life partners always have to be sexual partners?
