Chapter 1: The Unexpected

97 Degrees. Feels like 100 Degrees. But the show must go on. Backstage was so chaotic.

Staff members ran around while there were 16 people in their care. Having to go on stage in a few minutes.

"Hey Riel, What time is it?" Diana asked Ariel. Ariel looked down at her phone and looked back at Diana.

"7:45" Ariel Said. Diana sighed.

“Shit" Diana said as she walked away. 7:30 was when the show was supposed to start. They were a minute late.

One thing about them is that they hated being late. Diana had to make a last minute call.

So she was running around on the phone while checking on her makeup and hair.

"You sure they're alright, Jessica? I know it's hot out there so please don't think twice about getting as many waters as yall need. Use my card I don't care. As long as all 5 of you are safe. And make sure you have the headphones as well" Diana said into the phone as she finally paused and stood in one place.

She listened to the other on the phone. She nodded until she sighed in relief.

"Okay... Thanks again Jess. I just didn't wanna leave them in Korea...I have to go tell them I love them. Bye bye" Diana said before hanging up the phone.

"Miss Arias, The group is on in 5 after the opening" A Staff member said. Diana looked over and nodded.

She watched as the 7 other girls were either ready and getting their mics on or they were getting last minute makeup and hair touches done.

Diana smiled softly before she went to get her mic on and that's when she knew it was time.

They put on her mic and soon she heard the screams of the fans from outside.

Her heart started to race once more. Finally the rest of the girls were ready.

"Astra You're up in 1" A staff member nodded. The girls put up a thumbs up. Soon they were going backstage right where the stage was.

“What's up DC!!" Yelled one of the boys on the stage. They were done performing their first 3 songs.

Now they had a special song they wanted to perform. Their debut song. Along with another group who debuted the same year as them. Just a few days apart.

“Now. We'd love to introduce someone who we think would fit perfectly to perform this song with us. Please Welcome these Lovely Ladies to the stage...ASTRA!!" Soon the 8 girls walked out from behind the stage and walked out to the main stage. Stays were going crazy. Astra hasn't performed together as a group in about a year.

Their Leader, Diana hasn't been present in a few months to perform with them anywhere. She was on Hiatus for a while. Diana and the others started to wave to the audience. Nari heard her name being called by a few stays in the field.

“Nari!! Nari!!” A stay heard and Nari went over and went to the edge and waved at them.

The fan started to scream and Nari just smiled and waved at them.

She soon got back up and Diana called Nari back over and Nari waved bye before she walked back over to her group.

The other members got similar reactions but chose to stay within the group.

“It’s amazing to see you back babe” Chan said on the mic. Fans started screaming at this. Diana softly laughed at the nickname.

“Thank you babe for letting us come here” Diana said. Diana heard the fans screaming and she softly laughed.

“We are all so grateful to be here with Stray Kids. Girls, would you like to say some words?” Diana asked them.

“What’s up DC!” Carla said into the mic and she heard cheers from the fans.

“Yall didn’t know this my city?” Carla said.

“What are you talking about?” Nari said playfully as she realized how the crowd was reacting.

“I used to go up here all the time as a kid. I got family down here” Carla said.

“Slow Down, Carl” Juni said into the mic. She said Carl. Not Carla. Usually the members would use the name ‘Carl’ Instead of Carla to annoy Carla. Carla looked at Juni dead in the face. Juni started laughing at her.

“You on thin ice.” Carla said into the mic.

“My bad my bad” Juni said. Diana looked over at the both of them with a stern look on her face. The look of someone telling you to ‘shut up’ and so they did.

“We are so excited to be here in DC! I hope you enjoy the next few songs and hopefully you’ll love this new surprise as well” Diana said into the mic. The fans cheered at the thought of a surprise.

“Alright, Babe?” Diana said as she turned to Chan. Chan gave a nod and soon cued the music to the band.

Now you’d think this would be a normal performance.

It was and it also wasn’t. Of course the normal performance.

Same energy from Astra even though it was burning hot outside. After a few songs were performed it was time for a little surprise. Astra actually did some solos. But only a few members.

First was Carla and with Carla’s wild personality you’d figure how crazy her performance was. Very much could get her a very stern and not so friendly email from her manager…but does she look like she cares? With her ass in the air she really doesn’t.

Next was Jia. Jia’s was really calm this time. Similar to a more emotional song.

Very pretty though. She’s never really had a solo song so when she made this one she made it specifically for their tour since they knew that they would be going with them to DC.

So it was her first time performing it. But she did it with a breeze.

Lastly was Diana now Diana’s was more of an energetic and energy loaded piece. Just like Carla’s. But Diana was more up in the air and excited more than usual.

This performance had smoke bombs and fire. Soon Diana was given her own. But she was instructed to only open it when the performance was over.

Diana was extremely tired but you couldn’t tell over how she was covering it with the adrenaline she had for the performance.

Once the performance from her was done, she heard the cheers from fans. She stayed in her ending pose to take a breath before she opened the last smoke gun.

Out came pink smoke and Diana turned her to her side and she put her hand under her stomach to make her baggy outfit to go around her stomach to reveal a small little baby bump.

This. This caused screams she’s never heard before from this stadium to come out.

Diana laughed softly when she heard the screams just out of nervousness since she never knew how fans would react. But Diana couldn’t keep the smile that long so she stopped posing and went on the mic.

“I am so glad I am able to announce the soon arrival of my baby. This stadium actually means a lot to me is why I wanted to reveal it here. I went here for my first concert back when I was about to have my first daughter” Diana explained.

The crowd was slowly starting to get quiet for Diana to talk.

“Actually my daughter is here today too. Sydney! Baby! Hii! With my other daughter Kari and their brother as well” Diana added. The crowd started to search for the kids.

Of course they were being protected by their grandparents in case someone got too close. And security on standby.

“I can’t believe the last time I was here I was attending a concert with my daughter still in my stomach and now I’m performing at the concert with my new baby girl” Diana said. Diana looked like she wasn’t nervous but inside she couldn’t be even more nervous.

But it’s okay because Diana was about to get off the stage. And after that she had no idea the terrible situation they would be in.

Screams from fans and the sound of people running were flooding the stadium.

“Can we get some help over here?”

“I can’t breath”

“Baby? Baby! It’s going to be okay come here”

“We need some water!”

“Ambulance is on its way”

“Diana? Diana!”

“Nari come here”

“Over here!”

And just like that the DC concert was canceled.

HIIIII first book ngl I loved this chapter like making the chapter and yeah so imma make some more soon and it’ll probably be longer then this because more will be happening so yaurrrr byeeee
