✶ grew up in a super super catholic family and made his holy communion. his mom kept taking pictures of him at the altar and he got made fun of for a month afterwards

✶ has an older sister who he looks up to so much. she was away from home a lot, so they never really got close. she moved away from wiskayok when he started high school

✶ has an old shoebox full of stuff he stole from javi over the span of a few years. one time, he stole an old teddy bear from javi and he ran around the house for a solid 30 minutes trying to find it. javi was 8 at the time and travis gave the bear back after a few days because he felt so bad

✶ he literally sucks at every practical school subject except for pe and home ec, but he hates talking about it. he thinks being good at sewing and cooking makes him less of a man but he can embroider a MEAN pillow.

✶ speaking of, he made his mom a flower pillow case when he was a freshman and she still sleeps with it. she wanted to show it off to some of her friends but he got so embarrassed he had to hide himself away

✶ his mom wakes him up at 6:00 am every saturday so himself and javi can clean around the house. travis takes the harder jobs and leaves javi to do the dusting. he gets so mad that his dad gets to sleep in until late but he never says anything about it

✶ his birthday is november 16th 1978, making him a scorpio. he was fifteen when the plane crashed.

✶ his closet consists of mostly denim shorts, tshirts and empty hangers. he has one singular sweater that his grandma knitted for him. it’s the ugliest thing he has ever seen but he refuses to get rid of it

✶ tried to get served at a liquor store when he was 13 with his dads old id. he came in with a pair of slacks on and was immediately turned away. he was then banned from the store a week later

✶ on one january 6th, travis was cutting a slice of rosca for himself when he got the baby. his ass was not about to make tamales for nobody, so he just ate it

✶ saw coneheads in the theatre when it first came out. he told javi for a solid month afterwards that he looked like a conehead.

✶ a fox ended up in his backyard when he was younger and he tried to domesticate it. it bit him and he never looked at a fox again

✶ had a purple streak in his hair that he hid from his dad because he wore a hat everyday until it faded

✶ he once got stuck in the equipment closet when he had to stand in for misty. he was stuck for a whole class period before anyone realise he had been gone for so long

✶ has like two pairs of shoes. one for formal fancy events and one for every other day. the everyday ones are absolutely torn to shreds and he has never worn the fancy ones.

✶ an absolute king at card games. he knows every game, every rule, every foul. he makes high bets every time he plays with anyone, and they accept because they don’t have the confidence in him. he once won over a hundred bucks in a game of go fish.

✶ always wearing mismatched socks. he hasn’t worn a correct pair since he was 7

✶ he tried to run away from home when he was about 12. he packed a bag with a singular bottle of water, a bar of chocolate, a blanket and a book for entertainment. he tried to get javi to go along with him, but he came to the conclusion that he was too young to go out on his own. he made it about three blocks from his house before he turned back because he got too cold
