I found this quote browsing, and as I had an extra page, had to jot it down. I’m actually really happy as to how it turned out, looking messy and stuff. I like it

It’s bizarre how at 6.32, the world seems so hard to enter, how unwilling my brain, and my eyes are to accept the new day. But only 9 minutes later, at 6.41, I’m ready to jump straight in and start the day with full force. Perhaps if I had fallen asleep only 9 minutes earlier, I would have been fine. 

Nonetheless, the morning was accomplished as expected, with slight change however, the morning study session was replaced with a “registering for classes” session which went smoothly, and resulted in a free tote bag. 

Then, despite my best efforts, the homework for tomorrow was submitted, but the assignment for next week was not started.

An unexpected phone call from a classmate, letting me know of a simulator lab half hour later really messed up any plans, however slight they were. 

Lunch was had, at 3, but no memories remain, as my brain has turned to mush, somehow exhausted from the day or sitting around. 

For the rest of the day, languages remain on the horizon. Norwegian on duolingo, Italian on Rosetta stone. Then french class. 

The stage test will have to be reviewed. It’s inevitable, but when that’ll happen, now that’s the mystery

lmao i discovered these photos in my drafts so evidently, i forgot to post them (oops) but this is the photo of my bujo spread from a couple weeks ago 

lotsa musical lyrics are in this spread,, honestly musical lyrics are just always in my bujo because i’ve always got the soundtrack of some musical stuck in my head,, currently it’s bring it on which is such a bop!! but i’ve also been listening to waitress as well so totally recommend those musicals!!

5.3.18 Decided to work at the kitchen table today bc it’s sunny outside and I’m home alone

4.03.2018 // Current desk arrangement. For my birthday last month my partner got me a monitor screen. I plug it into my laptop and have two screens to work on. I had a lot of difficulty doing lots of work on a tiny MacBook Air, so this monitor is an amazing help! I love having so much screen space to look at multiple documents at once (or have a sneaky Netflix episode going on my small screen while I work on the big screen haha). It helps me to stay concentrated and feel a little more organised. Also you can see a sneak peak of my “speech pathology book shelf”, which holds all my resources I’ve gathered for placement and Honours.

3-5-18 Love warm yellow & sharpie banana highlighters! This was last year’s August spread when my 1st semester started. I didn’t have time to take pictures and edit that time so I just posted this today. I started buying Muji pens because of aesthetics haha. They were lovely and minimal. They do the job but I’ll still go for Gtec 0.4 for note taking. Anyways, happy Sunday everyone! I’ll be spending the whole day taking flat lays and editing photos. Goodluck on your quizzes, exams, papers and all. You got this!

hey guys! happy march (sorta late, but still)!! so, I came up with an updated version of study tips out of which some may sound a bit weird but trust me, I came up with those while I was studying and revising for my finals

1. pretend like you are filming a study-with-me video to be uploaded to youtube. in that way, a statement will continuously flick in your mind that you are not supposed to get up or meddle with things during the study session

2. never multitask even if you think you can handle it. It’s not about you it is about your brain. I’d recommend not to turn the background music on while studying because your brain then won’t be able to coordinate two stuff together and will definitely get jeopardized

3. if you have role models then this tip’s just for you. Write all the qualities that you admire in your role model (s) amalgamated with each of their traits’ corresponding examples of their works, in a notebook. You can keep it aside during your study session and whenever you feel like you can observe it as a motivation-fuel

4. keep a neko notebook. I know this term might sound new to you but it’s basically just a notebook where you write down all the things that are distracting you for the moment. For example: while doing math problems you look up and see you newly decorated room or you start thinking about your school friends; so you write down in your neko notebook “newly decorated room” and “call friends”. You can deal with that two tasks later on

5. focus on now. Don’t worry about your past or your future. I know in case of future, it does sound a bit urgent but ignore that during your study session, especially if you’re having a mental trauma like me since that leads to nothing but stress and burnout

6. think of someone whom you’re absolutely afraid of. You science/maths/history teacher,etc. before you sit for studying. In that way, you won’t stay out of your mind

7.make studying fun!! There’s nothing boring in the world than to go through plain black and white texts like a million times. Why do we get stuck up in tv/computer/laptop for 2-3 hrs straight? Its because it’s fun, interesting and most of all our minds get soaked into it. Make your study session fun, interactive and mind-sucking like using your studyblr, quizlet, different color coding with highlighters, type in your notes with different colors and your own fonts, or even better, find a study buddy!
