Looking back on Hannibal, I can’t believe how the show just kept progressing with its gay. Like you’re watching each season and there’s all these road signs and usually in 99% of shows there’s a gay No Pass zone, a final stop sign before the road’s closed and only the most determined try and cross. But in Hannibal it’s all just temporary yield signs. Like, oh Will is in jail and knows what Hannibal is? Nah, proceed with caution for a little while but go on up to freeway speeds when Will’s seducing Hannibal for The Case. Oh freaking Mizumono happened? Surely there’s a traffic jam and no one’s getting out—are there no traffic laws in Italy because the highway has opened up for Hannibal’s fabulous motorcycle rides and Will sails an ocean just bypassing roads altogether, but oh Wait he rejected Hannibal and Hannibal is in jail because of his seemingly one way feelings, surely there’s a stop sign right here—NO ONE PUT A DEAD END SIGN ON THE CLIFF AND NOW THEY’RE CAREENING OFF THE EDGE
