Is the same as me, someone who smokes ten cigarettes a day, saying “I don’t have smoker’s cough or cancer as a result of my smoking habits and I don’t have to justify my lungs to you. Therefore smoking isn’t unhealthy and doctors are bigots for telling me to quit.”

I may be healthy now, and some smokers may never get cancer, but that doesn’t mean the risks aren’t there.
