Dan MacFarlane is a pro skateboarder and instructor. After climbing through the ranks of the skateboard industry, doing well in contests, and his sponsors turning him pro, he eventually set off on his own to create Mentality Skateboards in 2003, and the bestselling instructional video "Skateboarding Explained". After the release of his hit video “Skateboarding Realms” he was signed to American Ramp Company and helped design their Pro Ops obstacle series. 2 of the 14 Pro Ops obstacles bear his signature and are being installed in skateparks worldwide. Mentality Skateboards, the Skateboarding Realms video trailer, and the Pro Ops ramps are now featured in the first ever Virtual Reality Skateboarding Video Game “Hover Skate VR”.
