Can we just stop all this speculation about what Adam recorded in his closet? Maybe the change was wording or intonation or a thousand other things. Changes, rewrites, reshoots happen ALL THE TIME up until a movie is released. I'm tired of seeing what people think he said before the last minute recording. You don't know and probably never will. The end product is what we got, live with it. This is what makes other SW fans think Reylos are off their rockers and dismiss us as crazies.

I feel like I'm the only one not enraged by The Rise of Skywalker. Surely I can't be alone? Was I sad at the end? Of course. Do I want Ben back? Of course. I'm hardcore into Reylo. I've been a Star Wars fan pretty much all my life, and I'm old, but it's fiction and the fact people can interpret it in their own way is what makes it grand. What you get out of it is only what you bring in to it. There were parts I scratched my head at and there were parts I loved but I will NOT let things I didn't like ruin this saga for me. I don't understand how it can do that for anyone. IDK. It makes me sad that there's such hatred. It's a movie. It's not real. However JJ or Rian or Disney or any director and writer decided to handle the story going forward doesn't affect real life. I won't throw the baby out with the bathwater. I can't wait to see what's next and maybe, just maybe years down the road we'll see Rey venture into the WBW to get Ben and being him back and Poe, Finn and Rose (yes, Rose) will be back as well.

Adam Driver: It was an interesting process that I have never done before to be able to tell a lot story without actually being seen. And then what is the difference when he takes off his mask? What do you find? Instead of this menacing figure that you’re used to, someone that’s kind of more moustache-twirly and obvious, that it was actually someone more human. […] There’s nothing more powerful than genetics. If you really imagine the stakes of him in his youth having all these special powers and having your parents be absent during that process, with their own agendas, equally as selfish. He’s lost in the world that he was raised in and feels like he was abandoned by the people that he’s closest with. He’s angry because of that, I think. And he has a huge grudge on his shoulders.
J.J. Abrams: [Han and Leia] had this kid who was born with equal parts good and evil. He is someone who is broken. […] But it’s more than just having a bad seed as a kid. Snoke had targeted this kid, knew that this kid was going to be incredibly powerful in the Force and wanted him as an ally.

Raise your hands if you’re a clown who will fight tooth and nail for Ben Solo to come back while actively still enjoying the heck out of Star Wars.

TROS / REYLO DUMP 3
If you didn’t see this coming, did we even watch the same trilogy? 🤷🏻♀️

They only exist on condition that they are backed up with another man; their name is a sequel, and is only written preceded by the conjunction and; and their existence is not their own; it is the other side of an existence which is not theirs.

Let me get this straight…
They decided to make a movie taking into account feedback and complaints that certain fans had about the first two films in the trilogy. That resulted in a fan service and nostalgia filled mess that made little cohesive sense and has been slammed by critics and fans and is now the worst reviewed Star Wars movie.

They had a stellar cast, in particular Academy Award Nominee Adam Driver, one of the best actors of this generation.

He played Kylo Ren/Ben Solo, arguably the best and most popular character of the ST.

They gave him no dialogue in the second half and completely underused this immensely talented actor yet he still gave it his all and stole the movie.

They killed off his character in the most tragic, unsatisfying way.

Now, a month after the movie was released, this character they killed unceremoniously is all anyone can talk about. The one thing everyone can agree on is that Ben Solo and Adam’s portrayal of him was the highlight of the film and the ST.
#BenSoloChallenge was trending.

In memory of this character over $80k has been raised for Adam’s non profit organisation, Arts in the Armed Forces.

Reylo has skyrocketed in popularity and the fandom has created so much new content.

The Rise of Kylo Ren #1 was one of the best selling comics of 2019, even though it was only released on December 18, two weeks before the end of the year.

Adam Driver has been nominated for an Academy Award for the second year in a row.

No one is talking about the trio, Palpatine’s return, Rey Skywalker or any of the nostalgic fan service. It’s all about Ben Solo.
They in no way did this character’s journey justice. They threw him under the bus for their own selfish reasons even though it didn’t make sense for the narrative. They tried to throw him into a pit never to be seen again but the jokes on them because now Ben Solo is more alive than ever!
I hope Disney realises they made a huge mistake in killing off this character and prioritising their childhood nostalgia over a well written story.
