When Nesta antis justify their hatred of her by saying she's ungrateful to Feyre, who went hunting to save their families lives.
1. Did they not read ACOSF? Nesta mentioned, numerous times, that she was grateful for it.
2. Nesta has saved Feyre's life numerous times, but yet Feyre has never been grateful for it.
3. Nesta was abused both physically and emotionally by their grandmother when Feyre was not, but yet I don't see Feyre being grateful for Nesta taking the abuse for her.
4. Nesta is the only character who attempted to rescue Feyre from Prythian.
5. Nesta allowed Feyre and her new family to meet with the human queens at her family's estate, knowing that she would be murdered if caught. Feyre was not grateful and did not care about what would her actions could do to Nesta.
6. Nesta was tortured in the Cauldron and turned High Fae against her will because of Feyre. Did Nesta make Feyre suffer for it? No, and for that Feyre should be grateful. I don't recall Feyre ever apologizing to Nesta since she was too busy taking her sister's trauma and making it her own. And destroying an entire court, and all those innocent lives, in the process.
7. Nesta chose to work with Amren to learn how to use her powers so she could fix the wall, rather than taking time to recover from her trauma. I don't remember Feyre being grateful or even caring about what trauma her sister was going through because of her own actions.
8. Nesta, who has always valued her privacy, decided to attend the High Lords meeting and tell her story, which would have been very difficult for an introvert to do. But yet she did, without much gratitude from Feyre.
9. Nesta saved Cassian's life. Was Feyre grateful? Nope. It was Feyre who mentioned that Rhys looked like he wanted to scold Nesta.
10. Nesta volunteered to sacrifice her life and lead the King of Hybern away from the Cauldron so Feyre could reach it. Was Feyre grateful? Nope. All her and Rhys were worried about was Cassian.
11. Nesta killed the King of Hybern. Was Feyre grateful? Another no.
12. Nesta was sexually assaulted in her efforts to find the Mask. Did Feyre care? Nope.
13. Nesta nearly died in her effort to gain the Harp for the Night Court. Did Feyre care? Nope.
14. Nesta could have died in the Blood Rite. Was Feyre the least bit worried? Not in the slightest.
15. Nesta killed Briallyn, took the Crown, and won the Blood Rite. Was Feyre grateful? No.
16. Nesta gave up her power to save Feysand and their son's life. Rhys was grateful, but was Feyre? Nope.
Tell me again, who's the ungrateful one?

Nesta taught me:
that not being the cool girl with a lot of friends its okay
Sometimes having mental issues, it’s valid and that doesn’t make you the villain
The best that being in the bottom it’s that theres only one way and it’s up
Everyone has a unique way to deal with trauma.
That the mistakes of your past DOES NOT DEFINE YOU
Everyone has their own barriers

I think SJMaas is going to create the Valkyrie Trio Rank dynamic to mirror the Bat Boys.
Emerie (Cassian) - General
The person most connected to Illyria; a warrior zone. She has most hands on experience of the war and its effect on soldiers. Nesta and Gwyn are too emotional.
As depicted she is practical and efficient and knows how to take hard decisions (knowing she had to leave Nesta to hold the line at Ramiel for minimum casualties)
Doesn't give up in hard times (her life in Illyria and her difficulty training due to clipped wings)
Knows how to establish authority (keeping ownership of her own shop)
Good at confrontations and is able to encourage and motivate others, good team player (everytime either valkyrie lays down a piece of truth in front of each other, she says hers immediately to prompt the third one to speak and support the first one)
Is a warrior.
Nesta (Rhysand) - Leader
Silver tongued, knows how to manipulate other's emotions with her words. Gwyn and Emerie have not shown a silver tongue.
Charming and strategic.
Presents a front in front of others and can hold it as needed.
Self-sacrificing and magical prowess (owns multiple powerful objects; her made weapons and silver flame and being made herself)
Were the multiple references of being a Queen not enough?
Is a warrior.
Gwyn (Azriel) - Spymaster
Is smart and strategic and has the determination to achieve her goal that a self-operating job like a spy needs.
Is a researcher and scholar; thus indicates her thrust for knowledge in situations. Also shows ability to sift through lots of information for the important one.
The patience and observation skills she displayed in the Blood Rite are essential. (Also: I know you like to be alone)
She's perceptive of other's behaviour (when she recognised Nesta's treatment of her change when she realised Gwyn was a priestess)
Good at detecting lies (At 2 in the night?)
Is a warrior.

When the Valkeryies are ready to go out in missions, Nesta os going to give them the weapons she made to make them feel protected and confident.
Gwym- the dagger
Nesta- Ataraxia
Emerie- the great sword
This are weapons Nesta did, they do not belong to the Night Court.

I don't want a Mor novella.
I don't want an Elain book.
Al I want is more Valkyries, House of Wind, and Az's dancing shadows.

This is one of my favorite scenes in acosf.
“Gwyn said hoarsely as they moved into the wilderness, the snow mercifully lightening, “You two came looking for me.”
“Of course we did,” Emerie said, interlacing her hand with Gwyn’s, then Nesta’s, and squeezing tightly. “It’s what sisters do.”

I think it’s very telling how a lot of the teenage fans stan feyre and the majority of the 20+ year old fans stan nesta.
Basically what I’m trying to say is Feyre is a pick me for all the teenagers who ✨aren’t like other girls✨ and Nesta is a bad ass bitch for the critical thinkers of this world.

One of my issues with acotar
its that when they needed to have contact with the mortal queens feyre was like “don’t worry i’ve sisters that are mortal they would help”
Like she putted them on danger, idk why she was surprised when the king brought them.
When Nesta said on the High Lords reunion “if it wasn’t for my sister i still would be human” she got a point.

Nesta's Sacrifice
I want to compare the scenes in ACOWAR and ACOSF, where Nes volunteers to sacrifice herself to save those she loves. See the difference between how Feysand reacts to how the Valkyries react. See the similarities between Rhys and Gwyn, Rhys and Emerie, and Cass and Nes.
ACOWAR
Rhys made to shoot me back down to the ground, where Amren and Elain were still waiting. Nesta said, “Wait.
Rhys obeyed.
Nesta stared toward that armada, toward our father fighting in it. "Use me. As bait.”
I blinked at the same moment Cassian said, “No."
Nesta ignored him. “The king is probably waiting beside that Cauldron. Even if you get there, you'll have him to contend with. Draw him out. Draw him far away. To me."
"How," Rhys said softly.
"It goes both ways,” Nesta murmured, as if my mate's words moments before had triggered the idea. “He doesn't know how much I took. And if ... if I make it seem like I'm about to use his power ...He'll come running. Just to kill me.”
“He will kill you," Cassian snarled.
Her hand clenched on his arm. “That's where you come in."
To guard her. Protect her. To lay a trap for the king.
"No," Rhys said.
Nesta snorted. “You're not my High Lord. I may do as I wish. And since he'll sense that you're with me...You need to go far away, too."
Rhys said to Cassian, “I'm not letting you throw your life away for this."
I was inclined to agree.
Cassian surveyed the depleted Illyrian lines, now holding strong as Azriel rallied them. “Az has control of the lines.”
“I said no," Rhys snapped. I'd never heard him use that tone with Cassian, with any of them.
Cassian said steadily, "It's the only shot we have of a diversion. Luring him away from that Cauldron." His hands tightened on Nesta. “You gave everything, Rhys. You went through that hell for us, for fifty years." He'd never addressed it—not fully. “You think I don't know what happened? I know, Rhys. We all do. And we know you did it to save us, spare us. He shook his head, sunlight glinting off that dark, winged helmet. “Let us return the favor. Let us repay the debt.”
“There is no debt to repay.” Rhys's voice broke. The sound of it cracked my heart.
Cassian's own voice broke as he said, “I never got to repay your mother—for her kindness. Let me do it this way. Let me buy you time.”
"I can't.”
I wasn't sure if in the entire history of Illyria, there had ever been such a discussion.
“You can,” Cassian said gently. “You can, Rhys.” He gave a lazy grin. "Save some of the glory for the rest of us."
ACOSF
Nesta couldn't move as Gwyn untangled herself. The two of them were covered in dirt, debris, and blood. “I can't... Nesta panted. "I can't carry you anymore.”
Silence fell.
“So we rest,” Gwyn managed to say, "then we continue."
"We'll never make it in time," Nesta said. “Or at least before the males catch up."
Emerie swallowed. "We try anyway." Gwyn nodded. “Rest a minute first. Maybe the dawn will reach us before they do."
"No." Nesta peered down the path. “They're climbing too fast.”
Again, silence.
"What are you saying?” Emerie asked carefully.
Nesta marveled at the hope and bravery in their faces. “I can hold them off.”
"No," Gwyn said, voice sharpening.
Nesta schooled her features into utter coldness. “You are both injured. You will not survive the fight. But you can manage the climb. Emerie can help - "
"No."
“I can use the bottleneck of the path right there," Nesta plowed ahead, pointing to the space beyond the archway, “to keep them off long enough for you two to reach the top. Or dawn to come. Whichever happens first.”
Gwyn bared her teeth. “I refuse to leave you here."
Emerie's pained face told Nesta enough: she understood. Saw the logic.
Nesta said to Gwyn, “It is the only way.”
Gwyn screamed, “IT IS NOT THE ONLY WAY!” And then she was sobbing. “I will not abandon you to them. They will kill you."
“You need to go," Nesta said, even as her hands began shaking. "Now.”
“No,” Gwyn wept. “No, I won't. I'll face it with you."
Something deep in Nesta's chest cracked. Cracked open completely, and what lay within bloomed, full and bright and pure.
She wrapped her arms around Gwyn. Let her friend sob into her chest. "I'll face it with you," Gwyn whispered, over and over again. “Promise me we'll face it together.”
Nesta couldn't stop her tears then. The chill wind froze them on her cheeks. “I promise,” she breathed, stroking Gwyn's matted hair. “I promise.”
Gwyn sobbed, and Nesta let herself sob with her, squeezing her tightly. Letting her stroking hand come to rest on Gwyn's neck.
A pinch in the right spot, exactly on that pressure point Cassian had shown her, and it was done.
Gwyn went down. Unconscious.
"Come with us," Emerie offered, eyes lined with silver.
Nesta shook her head. "Consider it the repayment of a debt."
A tear slipped down Emerie's cheek. "For what?"
"For being my friends. Even when I didn't deserve it."
Emerie's face crumpled. "There is no debt, Nesta."
But Nesta smiled softly. "There is. Let me pay it."
Swallowing back her tears, Emerie nodded.

Say what you will about Rhys, but this is the best thing he ever did:
But Rhys watched in awe for all of a moment before he whirled to Nesta, who had slid off the bed and now stood beside the Mask. Behind her, the Crown and the Harp lay strewn on the floor. Cassian held his breath as the two of them surveyed each other.
Then Rhys fell to his knees and took Nesta's hands in his, pressing his mouth to her fingers. "Thank you," he wept, head bowed. Cassian knew it wasn't in gratitude for Rhys's own life that he knelt upon the sacred tattoos inked upon his knees.
Nesta dropped to the carpet. Lifted Rhys's face in her hands, studied what lay in it. Then she threw her arms around the High Lord of the Night Court and held him tightly.
1. It's way past time for this entire fandom to follow Rhys's example and bend the knee to Nesta.
2. Saving Feyre, Rhys, and Nyx's life by sacrificing her world-dominating power completely erases every mean word Nesta ever said to Feyre.
3. If Feysand can forgive Nesta, why can't Feysand stans?
4. I better not see a Nesta anti commenting on this saying I'm justifying abuse.
Carry on and Long Live the Queen 👑

Nesta Archeron and The Temptation of Power
Can we take a step back and realize that everyone who feared Nesta and how she may use her power did it because they were influenced by their own ambitions and how they themselves react to power?
Everyone believed that Nesta would be corrupted and tempted by the massive power that surged in her veins and wanted either to contain or use and control her for their benefit (political, for war, even for conquest). They either feared her or viewed her as an opportunity for their power games.
You could see characters wanting the crown, the power, the ability to rule over literally everyone and Nesta had that all in an arm's reach and was not impressed.
Characters drooled over the weapons she made and wanted to check them out, feel their power, play with them or they dreaded to even touch them and Nesta was just shrugging.
Everyone was so surprised when Nesta didn't make a move to keep the blades she made and returned them denying the fact that she could very legitimately claim ownership over them...because they knew they would not do the same. They offered the weapon she made to Eris out of all people and she did not even blink because while others saw magic in destruction she was seduced by the magic in music.
While others found the potential of all that power seductive Nesta was not moved. And you cannot tell me there was not a degree of envy underneath all that behavior targeted towards her when it came to this. And fear because they knew that if Nesta wanted their throne, their kingdom, their court she could simply take it.
Only they failed to see that this wasn't her. She never wanted to take. Even when she was at her worst she kept her distance and did not unleash her power to gain anything. She hadn't even considered how her power could bring her wealth, fortune, unlimited power to control everyone. She was not distracted or enticed by the temptation of power and let's face it she was a powerhouse on a godly level.
Amren proposed to Rhysand to use Nesta as if she was a dangerous object of power they had to wield in order to gain ultimate power over all courts while Lanthys tried to tempt Nesta by a vision of them ruling the whole world. Why one is considered evil and the other is not? Why no one acknowledged that Nesta basically was the best example of: "with great power comes great responsibility" and she showed that by not being swayed by all that power in an actual healthy and balanced way; while others were incapable of comprehending that fact because it was simply not in their nature. But Nesta's nature was pure when it came to this.
Even Cassian at the end considered the fact that she gave away most of her power as a great sacrifice. He thought that compared to all that power he was just her consolation price and she was settling for less because he believed that with so much power Nesta could rule the world, she could conquer, find glory and be a Queen...because let's face it who wouldn't want that if they were in Nesta's shoes. They'd be tempted, they'd want to rule. And we pretty much saw that unfolding in the way they viewed Nesta and even in hypothetical future plans or how they translated the whole situation with the Cauldron. We even saw it with the weapons she accidentally made.
And what I found amusing was that Nesta just... didn't care. She was not tempted. She was not corrupted. She feared the power she had inside her because she felt she could not control it or use it appropriately to help and save the people she loved. She feared she could cause harm but either than that when it came to actual power she was...chill.
Everyone saw the monster in Nesta but failed to see the nerd.
Because when it came down to it what did Nesta Archeron truly crave? The girl wanted to listen to music, dance and eat chocolate cake. Her ultimate happiness and wish in life was to have a friend, read smut...and let's not forget...cuddle with Cassian lol
How everyone viewed Nesta:
In the mean time Nesta:
