yes, HELLO, i’m back. knock, knock, are you there? yes, thank you, because i was coming home from work as one does and i saw a stray kitty. it was black with white and his paws looked like he had boots and it was adorable and i stopped to feed it, obviously, and tell me why Riven would totally stop to feed start cats every time he comes back from the city??

and it totally started as a chance encounter with a small kitten that he just didn’t have the heart to leave there or walk past without giving it some food and water. and then it happened again, and again, again

so he started carrying cat snacks in his pocket or in his bag and every time he sees a a cat he feeds it. he never takes the same route, because safety, but that allows him to meet many stray cats and he becomes friends with them. Riven doesn’t talk to them but the quiet understanding in the eyes of the kitties as he pets their fur is enough for his perhaps troubled heart to find some rest

and when one of the cats follows him all the way to Red Fountain he dismisses it as chance. and then it happens again

…and again, and again… and again

sometimes there is an army of cats outside Red Fountain, just waiting for their favorite person to come down and pet them some more and give them more treats

Riven facepalms every time. the guys find it hilarious

Going on a date and asking the person “so like what do you like hyperfixate on or do you like any fandoms?” And them staring back at you like “huh?”

Wdym there are people out there that don’t spend 3/4 of their waking hours thinking about fictional characters ? What do yall even think about? How do your brains brain???
