Sometimes I think I’m feeling better.

Yet here I am…

Screws once loose, now rusted in place: unmoving.

I lay in my own rust as all my good parts disintegrate.

All my flowers were cut and taken away from me. My beauty is gone.

The child-like thoughts that gave me peace are now corrupted.

Others walk past my rotting corpse like it’s nothing. If you were here, you would scrub my rust off and help me up. Yet I couldn’t possibly make myself your problem for a second more. I love you and want you to heal yourself and never think of me with care again.

I lay rusted and rotting, disposed parts. Ruined scraps.
