So I'm rewatching Becoming Part 2, and it's Spike's idea to get Drusilla to hypnotise Giles, and he doesn't seem at all surprised by how it all plays out, that Giles sees her as Jenny. In fact, he looks downright smug, almost like he anticipated it.

Do we think that Spike knows how to get Giles to talk because he knows the only way anyone could get him to talk? Like, Angel wastes hours on violence, but Spike figures out what'll work the minute he puts his mind to it.

Spike, who can take any amount of punches in a fight and keep going but, in Lie to Me, abandoned a fight the minute Dru was in danger.

Spike, who has killed two Slayers in the past century, but has just struck a deal with one to get Dru back.

Spike, who stood there and watched as Giles tried to kill Angel for what he did to Jenny.

Of course Spike was the one to figure it out. Because after all, why does a man do what he mustn't? For her.

I am begging the FDA to require that companies CANNOT just put "spices" as an ingredient but have to label the spices.

"Spices" can mean "this has some oregano and black pepper in it" or it can mean "this has cumin cayenne and paprika and if you eat this you will be sick in bed in pain for a week" for me.

Seriously, this is an allergy issue and a huge oversight on the part of corporations.

Require detailed labeling of spices used in packaged foods NOW.

I am screaming and crying everytime I think about Merrick and Buffy in the TV show canon. I understand that they couldn’t bring up Merrick to avoid overlapping w anything in the movie but he does exist in the show’s canon! And he does die! And 15 year old Buffy witnessed the man who was supposed to be guiding her die brutally and then NEVER brings it up to anyone, ever. She rocks up to Sunnydale to meet the replacement of the guy she couldn’t save, and you’re telling me Merrick doesn’t hang over Giles and Buffy’s relationship like the ghost they won’t talk about???
