Silveray Seafood Grill Restaurant - Moalboal, Cebu

“Jinjja baegopa! (I’m really hungry!)” is all what Isaac and I can say at the moment. After leaving Clarita’s (which was our temporary shelter after we arrived so late last night from that 3 and a half hour trip from Cebu City to Moalboal, thanks to traffic by the way), we walked our way under the scorching heat of the sun to Marina Village Resort. We arrived at around 12:00pm in the resort though check-in time was still at 2:00 pm. Thanks to appa’s booking, we were able to check in right away. We settled in inside the cozy nipa hut (We will post the full review soon after Isaac and I goes swimming. :D) and surfed the net. We missed a night without internet which is so sad. We ended up watching movies and went to sleep immediately after. What a killjoy. It was already 2:00pm when we decided to go out and look for some place to eat. Due to the very foreign-based prices from other restaurants, we ate in a place called Silver Ray Restaurant. The place is very quiet and peaceful where you can enjoy eating your dishes in peace. The scent of the curry invited me to dine in that place (Ate ng restaurant, be thankful sa foreigner na kumain ng curry don, kundi nako! Baka sa lungsod na kami kumain ni Isaac. XD). Isaac and I asked for the pricelist but the sales lady only gave us the list of few of their dishes. The rest were stuck on their walls with no price at all. You had to go inside muna before you know the price. We both ordered chicken curry (Ate said it was only good for one person, but jusko po! Kaya na pong buhayin ng isang chicken curry ang kumakalam na tyan namin Isaac! HAHAHA.) and two bottled coke. The food was great though it was a bit salty for me and Isaac. It was presentable enough, its scent is really inviting as well. The mouthwatering chicken curry is at the price of 185.00 each inclusive of the rice. It was quite expensive, I must say. (Appa, we need more money next time, eo?) Our bottled coke was surprisingly 20.00 each! Gaaah! It wasn’t cold enough when our food got served by the way TT___TT For our lunch, we spent 445.00. Well, do we have a choice? Though, Silver Ray Restaurant’s food was really mouthwatering, its service is also quite slow. Especially when Isaac ordered extra rice, it took a while for the rice to reach our table and there were only 2 pairs of customers in the restaurant. But it’s lunch time! Late lunch time. Can we still think about the price?
