Happy late sua day🫶
who you gonna call? (winchesters!) ~ k. br.
a/n: raaaahhh happy SuA day!!! a little late on the international end of things but it's better late than never, right? anyways enjoy this fic, I had so much fun writing it that I may get back into watching supernatural. :) also the title is based on an edit of the winchesters brothers to 'ghostbusters' by ray parker jr!
I normally don't do a separate trigger warning for specific triggers, but since this is the first time that a piece of work has touched on such a serious topic, I wanted to put a big disclaimer out there. There is a scene in the fic where suicide is discussed as a possible cause of death. There's isn't any more graphic of a description than the word being thrown around once or twice; however, I feel it is my responsibility as an author to inform you of this. That being said, if you or a loved one are struggling, here's a list of international suicide hotlines that can help you if you need them. take care of yourselves, my loves, and remember that you all are beloved by me. ❤️
tw: BRIEF MENTION OF SUICIDE, main character death, lots of blood and gore in this one, not accurate to the Supernatural episode (Season 1, Episode 5) that it is based on, reader's parents died at an early age, it's a mixed bag of angst, fluff, and hurt/comfort with an open ending
summary: after one of the worst nights of your life, a pair of "reporters" roll into town and ask you questions about your dead friend. unfortunately, one of the girls, SuA, is a bit too charming for her own good. your curiosity towards the girl brings you closer to her, and it brings SuA closer to solving your friend's death, as well as the death of your parents.

“Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody-”
“Stop!” You cry out before shutting your eyes. “Don’t do this!”
“You know it’s not real, right?” Ryujin looks at you as concern laces into her voice. “We can leave, if you’re uncomfortable-”
“You’re both chickens!” Yuna teases you before turning back to the bathroom mirror. “O’ spooky mirror ghost, tell these losers to go back home!”
She cackles as you open your eyes and place a steady hand on the counter.
“Yuna, I’m sorry, I can’t do this.” You bite your lip as tears start to form in your eyes.
Yuna’s smile immediately fades as she pushes Ryujin aside to pull you into a hug.
“I’m so sorry! I was just playing around, and I didn’t mean to make you cry.” She whines before placing her head on your chest. “Please forgive me!”
With pleading eyes, Yuna looks like a wounded puppy as you gently comb your fingers through her hair.
“It’s alright, Yuna,” You reassure her as your free hand wraps around her side, “I know you didn’t mean any harm. I’ve just been sensitive to these things since people started spreading those haunting rumors after my parents died.”
“Those people are assholes,” Ryujin injects, “and you shouldn’t pay them any mind.”
Yuna bobs her head up and down before letting you out of her arms.
“That’s why you’ve got us!” She proudly says before looking in the mirror. “We’ll protect you from anything, ghost-related or not.”
You let go of Yuna before heading towards the bathroom door.
“Thank you, to the both of you.” You wipe away the tears that threaten to fall as Ryujin grabs your hand and guides you away from the bathroom.
“C’mon, I’ll make you some hot chocolate and we can talk about those cute girls you’ve been seeing at college.” She teases as you smile back at her.
“Girls? What girls?” You play dumb, which causes Ryujin to laugh.
“You know exactly what I mean.”
Your other hand catches the door frame as you look back at Yuna.
“You coming?”
“In a minute!” She gleefully says as you remove your hand from the doorway.
A second later, and it would’ve been crushed by Yuna slamming the door shut. You allow Ryujin to drag you to the kitchen as your thoughts begin to wander.
It’s silly to believe those rumors, right? Maybe I should be brave like Yuna and face them head on.
~
After Yuna slams the door shut, she turns the light off and grabs the candle from the sink. With a spare match that she stowed away in her pocket, she lights the candle and sets it back onto the counter.
Yuna looks at herself in the mirror, locking eyes with the reflection that looks back at her, as she smiles to herself.
“It’s just a child’s game - what harm could it do?”
She leans close to the mirror before whispering, “Bloody Mary.”
A single shiver runs up her spine - fear? adrenaline? panic? fate?
She sighs to herself.
This is stupid.
“Bloody Mary.” Her voice rings out again, and this time, the candle wavers in the wind.
Yuna looks out to the window in the bathroom, but it isn’t wide open or slightly cracked. It’s completely shut, with no holes to be seen.
A new shiver runs down her spine - this one she identifies as pure terror.
What’s going on?
“Bloody Mary.”
The words leave her lips before she can stop herself. Yuna immediately turns on the lights and looks around.
There’s nothing here - you’re just a scaredy-cat!
She breathes out before wiping a tear from her eye.
I must’ve really scared myself if I started crying.
She looks down at her hand, expecting to see nothing but a teardrop, but she sees blood.
Her blood.
A scream is caught in her throat, threatening to escape as she looks in the mirror.
This time, she sees blood falling from both of her eyes, and a shadowy figure in the back.
A woman.
Bloody Mary.
~
You grab the warm mug from Ryujin’s hands before taking a sip of the hot chocolate. Like an impatient child, you take a sip and are immediately reminded why doing so is a terrible idea. You quickly set the mug back down as the liquid in your mouth is scolding your tongue and throat as it travels down to your stomach.
“Fuck,” You wipe your lips, “that’s hot.”
“It’s hot chocolate, you know.” She nudges your arm before taking a seat next to you in the dining room.
You roll your eyes as she laughs at her own bad joke.
“Thanks, Einstein.”
Her mug sits on the table, right next to yours, as her hand grabs your arm.
“How’s college life? Meet anyone special?”
“Not yet. I’m focused on my studies.” You shrug off her nosiness, but Ryujin’s persistent.
“You can’t just spend the rest of your life slaving away at work, you know.”
“You can’t just spend the rest of your life working at a shitty cafe, Ryujin.” You mimic her voice as she loudly gasps.
“Excuse you! My caramel macchiatos are anything but shitty!”
You both laugh before falling into a comfortable silence.
Her fingers run up and down your arm, and you find comfort in the gesture. She’s been your closest friend since your parents died, back during your first year of high school. Through her, you met Yuna, her neighbor and childhood best friend, who had the biggest house on the block.
It was easy to escape the pain of being in a home with no parents when you could simply spend every night at a friend’s house. It wasn’t like their parents complained - you all got decent grades and stayed out of trouble, so what was the harm?
“It was nice of Yuna to offer her house to me since I’m in town for the week.” You say, as Ryujin nods.
“Her house is always open to me. The benefits of being neighbors, I suppose.” She looks over to the hallway where the bathroom is. “Yuna, come out here before your hot chocolate gets cold! I don’t want to hear any complaints if it already is!”
You laugh before looking out to the hallway.
“That’s odd. She’d usually have some sort of smartass comment to say by now.” You glance at Ryujin, who seems perplexed by Yuna’s odd behavior.
“You’re right. She’s never this quiet. Do you want to check in on her, or should I do so?”
“I’ll do it.” You quickly get out of your chair and head towards the bathroom.
“Yuna!” You call out to her as you slowly approach the bathroom door. Nearly every light in the house is on, yet you feel some sort of darkness around you.
C’mon, Yuna, now is not the time for jokes.
“Yuna, please come out! Ryujin and I, we’re worried about you!” You stop before the door, fist raised to knock against it.
You knock once, twice, thrice.
No response.
“Yuna, please!” Your voice becomes more desperate as you continue to knock. “This isn’t funny!”
You try to open the door, you’re past the social politeness of knocking in case she’s taking care of private business. You’re worried that she slipped and fell, or maybe she hurt herself and didn’t want to say anything-
A key. There has to be a key somewhere.
You look down to see if you can spot a key, but your eyes widen at the sight in front of you.
Blood soaks into your shoes and the carpet below your feet.
You shriek in terror.
“What’s wrong?” Ryujin races around the corner as you start sobbing.
“Call an ambulance! I think Yuna’s, she’s-”
You choke on your own tears as Ryujin scrambles to find her phone to call for help.
Your mind can’t help but to make a terrible comparison, one that you thought you would never have to relive.
This was exactly how you found your parents, all those years ago.
~
“Mom! Dad!” You call out from your bedroom. “You guys forgot to turn off the hallway light!”
You tightly hug your stuffed rabbit as you wait for one of your parents to respond. They were the two people you trusted most in the world, even though you were a young teenager.
Making friends didn’t come easy to you, especially not in high school, when most of the friend groups had already been decided.
You did talk to this one girl in your math class - Ryujin - but she was more of a study buddy than anything. A friend that simply saw you as a means to an end.
How tragic.
“Mom! Dad!” You call out for them again, wait for a response, and then get out of bed. “I wanted to stay curled up in bed, but I can’t do that when you guys are ignoring me!”
You sigh before putting on your slippers and trudging towards the hallway.
You exit your bedroom and turn to the left as you find the lightswitch with ease. That, however, isn’t what peaks your interest.
It’s the steady stream of a red liquid coming from the master bathroom.
“Mom…” You trail off before walking towards the door. “Dad?”
As you approach, a metal tang hits your nose. It isn’t any red liquid - it’s blood.
~
Red and white lights consume your vision as you sit on the steps of the front porch. In the distance, you can hear Ryujin talking with one of the paramedics, but it all feels like white noise to you.
Could it really be? Could the same entity that killed my parents really have done this to Yuna?
It’s all a jumble of lights, endless questioning, and paranoia until a hand meets your shoulder.
You look up at Ryujin, who tries to give you a forced smile.
“What did they say?” You softly ask as Ryujin takes a seat next to you.
“They think it was a stroke, or some other heart condition. That’s the only thing that could’ve caused her eyes to be like that.”
“Her eyes were liquified, just like my parents.” You quietly say. “Paramedics said they died of strokes, too.”
“But I don’t get it. Yuna ate healthy, exercised regularly, and didn’t seem stressed at all. That’s why they’re looking into suicide as a cause of death too.”
“You can’t be serious, Ryujin,” You glare at her. “Suicide?”
“We never really know what’s going on in someone’s head.” She shrugs before letting her head fall between her knees. “How are we going to tell her family about this? We should’ve been in there with her, maybe we could’ve caught the signs sooner-”
You lean your head against her shoulder and offer her a bit of comfort.
“Trust me, dreading the past doesn’t help at all.”
“What are we supposed to do, then?”
When Ryujin lifts her head to meet your eyes, she hides her face in a valiant effort to hide her red eyes and quiet sniffles. You gently rub circles into her back as she grabs your shoulders and pulls you closer to her.
“We grieve, we remember, and we move forward with our lives.”
~
“Hustling for pool money again?” Siyeon asks, not daring to lift her eyes from the newspaper.
“Uh-huh.” SuA tosses a stack of cash on the bar table. “What do you think?”
“That it’s better than the credit card scams, but worse than an actual job.” Siyeon bluntly says before SuA grabs a chair, spins it around, and takes a seat.
“Think what you want, but it’s money and it’s right there.” She proudly smiles before looking at Siyeon. “Speaking of jobs, have you found anything?”
“This might interest you.” Siyeon grabs a pen and circles an article in the paper before tossing it to SuA.
“What am I looking at?”
“A girl from a prominent family died about a month ago. Shin Yuna was her name.” Siyeon explains.
“What’s so special about her that requires our… unique expertise?”
“Read the autopsy report in the paper. Her eyes were completely liquified, and they found most of the blood in her body within her skull. They claim that her cause of death was a stroke.”
“No shit.” SuA bites her lips as her eyes gloss over the page. “Are we dealing with a pissed-off spirit, a deranged vampire, or something else?”
“I say that we give it a look before those men over there get mad at you for your hustling.” Siyeon grabs her jacket as SuA takes a sip of beer from the stein in front of her.
“Hustling is an underappreciated art form.” SuA argues before putting on her leather jacket. “Let’s go.”
Siyeon shrugs before grabbing the newspaper from SuA.
“Let’s go.”
~
“This feels wrong.” Siyeon raises her fist to the door before looking back to SuA’s ‘67 Chevy Impala. “Are you sure there isn’t anyone else we can talk to first?”
“Family and next of kin is always the best source.” SuA adjusts the aviators on her face as she admires her reflection in a side view mirror. “We have to rule out witchcraft and demonic possession, just so we can be sure that we’re dealing with a pissed-off spirit.”
“Yuna’s family… her parents have been through enough. Should we really not start anywhere else?” Siyeon’s hesitation causes SuA to sigh and walk towards the house.
“Where has this hesitation come from? It’s not like you.” SuA places her sunglasses on the top of her head before knocking on the door.
Siyeon crinkles her nose in disapproval before moving to the side.
“Mr. and Mrs. Shin, a moment of your time!” SuA calls out while banging on their front door.
She stops for a moment and waits for an answer, but no one responds or comes to the door.
“They must be out of town.” Siyeon shrugs before watching SuA grab a bobby pin from her hair. “Don’t tell me you’re going to-”
“You said they weren’t home,” She argues, “and we have to learn about our victim one way or another.”
She places one knee on the ground as she lowers herself to be eye-level with the door. One hand grabs the door knob while the other takes the bobby pin and begins to mess with the lock and-
Easy does it, baby.
“Hey, I’m pretty sure trespassing is illegal in all parts of the world!” A voice yells, which breaks SuA’s concentration.
Startled, she launches herself to her feet before Siyeon walks backwards and falls into SuA, sending them both to the ground.
“Nice one.” SuA grumbles before Siyeon scoots aside.
“You tried breaking in!”
“You encouraged it!”
“You two have to be the worst thieves I’ve ever seen.” A pink-haired girl walks from the next-door house to greet them at Yuna’s home. “Or you’re the next Nancy Drew in-training.”
“Who are you?” SuA quickly stands up before offering a hand to Siyeon.
Siyeon takes the hand and quickly reaches for her wallet in her back pocket, most likely looking for whatever fake ID will get them out of a potential cop car ride.
“Shouldn’t I be asking you that question?” She innocently tilts her head as her piercing gaze makes SuA sweat under her leather jacket. “The nearest police station is five minutes away, and I know the deputy’s daughter-”
“Ryujin, that’s enough!”
SuA lets out a heavy breath as her knight in shining pajamas appears at Ryujin’s side. With messy bed hair and a kind smile, they look much less terrifying (and much cuter) than Ryujin.
~
“Ryujin, that’s enough!” You march towards Yuna’s house as Ryujin sheepishly backs down from the two women in front of her. “They’re probably interns at a newspaper who were sent to look into Yuna’s death.”
“Yeah, sorry we forgot to mention that to you.” The taller one rubs her neck before putting her wallet away. “I left my college ID in my car, I can go get it for you if you’d like-”
“Nah, don’t worry about it,” You shrug before looking at her, “Names are enough for me.”
“Siyeon.” The taller girl sticks out her hand, which you gladly shake.
“And you?” You look over to the smaller girl, who simply smirks.
“You can call me the woman of your dreams.” She flashes you a charming smile before Siyeon elbows her in the gut. “Fuck! What was that for?”
“Her name’s SuA.” Siyeon apologetically says as SuA grabs her stomach in pain. “She can be a bit… much at times.”
You simply smile at SuA, who leans against the doorframe to look tougher.
And less like a child who got their hand stuck in the cookie jar.
Cute.
“SuA, Siyeon, it’s nice to meet you,” You say before quickly introducing yourself, “and this is Ryujin.”
“You still didn’t tell me why you’re knocking at our dead friend’s front door.” She deadpans as you place a hand on her shoulder.
“It’s better that they bug us instead of her parents,” You say, “who have been out of town since the funeral. Rumor is that they’re going to sell the place, but it’ll most likely get torn down.”
“Right. No one wants to live in a house where a woman died.” Siyeon looks at the door for a moment. “Is there any way we could look inside? For our article, we need a full biography of the victim, and we thought her childhood home might fill in the pieces that we don’t know.”
“Yuna.” Ryujin sternly corrects Siyeon. “Her name is Yuna.”
“I-” Siyeon pauses, rethinking her answer. “Yuna, of course. Apologies.”
Ryujin scoffs before nodding.
“I wouldn’t feel comfortable being in there without her parents’ permission, but we can talk to you in Ryujin’s house.” You clarify before Ryujin can say something argumentative in response.
That, however, does not completely stop her from responding as Ryujin’s head snaps towards you.
“You can’t be serious! They’re strangers-”
“-Yet, they’re much better than the other reporters and photographs that have come around here.” You say before beckoning SuA and Siyeon towards Ryujin’s house. “C’mon, we can tell you everything you need to know. We were her closest friends, and we were there when she died.”
You don’t miss the way that SuA’s eyes light up when you say the last part.
She must be really invested in this case.
~
“This hot chocolate is really good.” SuA remarks before offering her glass to you. “Want some?”
“No, I’m alright,” You lean towards SuA with a smile, “but Ryujin’s coffees are so much better.”
“Are you shit-talking my hot chocolate?” Ryujin yells from the kitchen as you slide into the stool next to SuA.
“I thought you said it was okay to do so, as long as you said your coffees were better!” You holler back as Siyeon takes a seat next to SuA.
“My coffee is fantastic, by the way!” Ryujin says as you chuckle to yourself.
Never change, Ryujin.
“Maybe I could buy you some, as a treat for your hospitality?” SuA gives you a wide grin before nudging your shoulder.
“Maybe.” You teasingly shrug before looking at Siyeon. “Are you sure you don’t want anything besides water?”
“No, I’m alright. I feel like we’re imposing on you already.” Siyeon gives SuA a sharp glare before looking back at you. “Do you mind if we ask you some questions about Yuna? It’s not exactly surface-level stuff, and if we cross any boundaries, be sure t-”
“-Did you notice anything weird going on with Yuna before she died?” SuA enters the conversation with the gracefulness of a one-ton elephant. “Any flickering lights, sulfur around window sills, increasing or decreasing temperatures…”
“No, none of that,” You shake your head before thinking, “but there was one thing that she did say, before she died.”
“What was it?” SuA looks deep into your eyes, and you’d blush under any other circumstance.
“The three of us - me, Ryujin, and Yuna - were in the bathroom a few minutes before she died. When we were in there, Yuna was teasing me and she started chanting Bloody Mary in the mirror. I stopped her before she got to the third one, but I can’t help but wonder…”
You bow your head for a moment to recollect yourself before speaking again.
“...I’m sorry, you didn’t come for speculation. So no, there wasn’t anything weird with Yuna before she died.”
You glance over at Siyeon, then to SuA. The two girls are staring at each other with an intrigued look on their faces.
They can’t actually believe this story, right?
“Have there been any other deaths like this in town?” Siyeon asks.
Here we go.
“Two, actually,” You start to chew on your lip, “my parents.”
“I’m sorry for your loss.”
The words fly out of Siyeon’s mouth as she tries to pick her jaw up off the table.
“Don’t be, it was seven years ago. But yes, when I found them, their eyes were liquified, just like Yuna’s.” You offer a weak smile to your companions, both of which look like they’d rather be five feet under the ground than right next to you.
And everyone wonders why I don’t like to talk about my parents - the response is always similar to this.
“Can I ask a stupid question?” SuA takes a sip from her mug after responding.
“Shoot.”
“Did you play Bloody Mary before your parents died?”
Your eyes widen as SuA’s bluntness.
“I-”
“SuA!” Siyeon reaches behind you to smack SuA on the shoulder. “Why would you ask something like that?”
“I’m forming a theory on what’s happened here,” She pauses for dramatic effect, “a damn good one if you ask me.”
Siyeon clears her throat before grabbing her water and standing up.
“Alright, we’re done here. Pardon my partner’s rudeness.” Siyeon walks over to SuA and hauls her onto her feet.
“But my hot cocoa-” SuA whines, which causes you to laugh.
“It’ll be here if you have any more questions.” You wave at the two girls as they bicker and exit the house at the same time.
Ryujin slowly approaches from the kitchen with her eyebrows furrowed.
“Why’d you tell them all that? You know they’re not reporters, right?”
“I don’t know, Ryujin,” You say before patting the vacant stool on your left, “there was something different about those two. They might just be nosy tourists, but I think they might be able to find something in connection with Yuna and my parents.”
“Be honest - you just let them in because SuA was eye-fucking you-”
“RYUJIN!”
~
“Alright, SuA, what’s your theory?” Siyeon places her feet on the dashboard before SuA swats them away in disapproval.
“We’re not dealing with a demon or a vampire or a werewolf. This is just a seriously pissed-off spirit. One that looks like Blood Mary, apparently.” SuA says before turning the car to the left. “We need to look into unsolved murders in the area. Perhaps one that has to do with eyes?”
“Spirits do like to kill their victims in ways that resemble how their murderer killed them. A twisted sort of revenge.” Siyeon nods along. “What would cause the spirit to attack once, and then not attack until seven years later? Usually, these sort of killings happen in rapid succession.”
“That’s the part that has me stumped, too.” SuA pulls into the motel parking lot with ease before putting the car into park. “Let’s get some sleep and see what we can figure out in the morning.”
~
“Shit.”
SuA runs her fingers through her hair as she stares at the headline for the morning news broadcast on TV.
A Deadly Sleepover: Three Teens Found Dead in Local Home!
“You think it’s our spirit?” Siyeon asks as SuA places her head into her hands.
“They said that the girls had their eyes liquified.” SuA absentmindedly looks up to the ceiling.
Why does there always have to be more deaths before we catch our murderer?
SuA watches Siyeon sort through a few newspaper clips while looking at her computer.
“Tell me you’ve got a lead.” SuA taps her foot against the motel flooring as Siyeon nods.
“I do. I cross-referenced local unsolved murders with any autopsy reports of eye gouging or similar injuries, but I couldn’t find anything on the victim’s side.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” SuA asks as Siyeon hands the computer to her.
“Look here. Lucinda Brown, 25 years old. She was murdered in her home by an older man who had his eyes gouged out at the scene of the crime.”
“Jesus.” SuA scrolls through the autopsy reports. “You think this is our girl?”
“Timeline matches up. Lucinda was murdered twenty years before any murders occurred here. That’s enough time to drive any person, living or dead, to insanity. Speaking of, her murderer managed to escape jail time by pleading that he was mentally unwell at the time of the murder.” Siyeon replies.
“Alright, so what do we do now? Dig up some old bones and give them a communion in fire?” SuA suggests, which is quickly shot down by Siyeon.
“The woman was cremated, so that’s a no-go. There must be something else tying her to the mortal world.” Siyeon ponders for a moment. “Let me see the laptop again.”
“Sure.” SuA hands it back to Siyeon before looking at the TV.
The reporter’s interviewing a neighbor who had heard nothing of the incident, except that the girls had been playing Bloody Mary with a handheld mirror in the backyard.
“Bingo,” With a satisfying click, Siyeon turns the laptop to face SuA, "we've got our object of interest.”
On the laptop monitor is a picture of the crime scene from Lucinda Brown’s home. It’s obvious that this was a home invasion - a dresser was knocked down in the background, sheets were tangled with each other on the floor, and blood was splattered across every possible surface in the room.
No wonder the family cremated the poor girl.
SuA’s eyes drift up towards the middle of the picture, where a floor-length mirror stares back at her. In the middle of the mirror, written in blood, is a simple message: Help Me.
“She knew she was going to die there.” SuA softly says. “One last act of rebellion against her killer. I think we’ve got our ghost, but the question remains: where’s that mirror?”
~
“I can’t believe you still kept the thrift store, after all of these years.” Ryujin adjusts the cap on her head before leaning over the counter. “I know it’s your parents, but that place gives me the creeps.”
“I know.” You nod as you stare out of the cafe window. “There’s just a part of me that would hate to see it go to ruin.”
“So you just leave it in limbo?”
“So I just leave it in limbo.” You answer as she looks over to the register.
“You could always come work with me, y’know. I might own this place one day.” Ryujin’s eyes sparkle with ambition, and you can’t help but laugh at her goals.
“You work on that, Ryujin.” You take a step back before the door opens. “Well, if it isn’t our reporter friends.”
“Friends?” SuA scoffs before walking in. “I thought I left a better impression than friends.”
“Maybe I want you to make a better impression now.” You tease before grabbing your coffee. “Order something first, and then we’ll talk.”
“Don’t have to tell me twice.” SuA rushes over to talk with Ryujin, which causes laughter to fall from your lips.
Wonder if she’s like this with every person she meets…
“Siyeon.” You greet her as she admires the display of baked goods. “You should try the donuts so Ryujin doesn’t have to burn anything in the oven.”
“It was one time!” Ryujin yells as she writes SuA’s order on a cup.
“I’ll get something in a minute, but I wanted to ask you if you saw the news this morning.” Siyeon places her hand on the display case as her eyes look through the different options.
“I did, yes,” You lower your voice before asking, “do you think it’s related to the other deaths?”
“Given that the girls had the same wounds that Yuna did, I’d say there’s a strong chance that it is.” Siyeon quietly answers.
“Do you know how to stop them?”
“We have a strong idea. Have you seen a mirror like this?” Siyeon grabs a folded-up piece of paper and hands it to you.
You grab the paper and carefully unfold it, and you gasp as you stare at the crime scene in front of you.
“I-” You pause as you notice the mirror in the corner, “I think I’ve seen that mirror before. My parents used to have one just like it in the thrift shop that they owned.”
Siyeon’s eyes widen as she looks over at SuA.
“I’m listening, hold on.” SuA hands her card to Ryujin before walking over to the two of you. “Mind if we take a look around there?”
“I thought you wanted to have a coffee shop date.” You smile as she bashfully looks away for a moment.
“Ah, so now it’s a date.” SuA chuckles before leaning against the counter. “We can change plans, as long as you don’t mind having a third wheel.”
“As long as you two aren’t making out in the back of the Impala, I don’t really care.” Siyeon shrugs before Ryujin hands her a baked good.
“Here’s one slightly toasted-but-not-burnt donut.” Ryujin says before grabbing a coffee from the back. “And your black coffee, you heathen.”
“I prefer my coffee black instead of liquid sugar, thanks.” SuA remarks before taking a sip. “Perfect.”
“Whatever.” Ryujin rolls her eyes before looking out of the window. “Hey, did you see that woman?”
“What woman?” You look out to the road, but there’s not one car or person outside except the Chevy Impala.
You notice the visible panic on Siyeon’s face as she walks over to Ryujin.
“What does she look like?”
“Well, she had pretty blonde hair, but her face was a little messed up. It almost looked like she was dead or something…” Ryujin confesses.
“Fuck.” SuA sets her coffee aside before grabbing Ryujin.
“What are you doing?” She frantically looks around as SuA drags her to the car.
“If you want to live, you have to come with us.”
The door slams shut as Siyeon follows after her.
“We’ll explain in the car, I swear.”
~
“Are you serious?” Ryujin breathes deeply through her nose as Siyeon covers the rearview mirror with a small towel. “If so, I’m fucked.”
“But she didn’t say Bloody Mary three times!” You try to reason with SuA as she steps on the gas after pulling out from the parking spot.
“It doesn’t seem to matter who said it.” SuA runs a red light in town as you fumble with the keys in your hand. “What can you tell us about that mirror in your parents’ thrift shop?”
“I remember that they sold it to a woman in our neighborhood, a few weeks before they…” You trail off. “You’re telling me that this mirror killed my mom and dad?”
“Not the mirror as much as the spirit attached to this.” Siyeon says as she lowers the passenger seat window.
“This is insane, right?” Ryujin looks over to you with a look of fear that doesn’t normally sit on her face. “I can’t believe that you believe this!”
“I mean… I’ve always felt that there was something wrong about their deaths, but I didn’t think it was a literal haunting. I just thought it was a mean rumor that the neighborhood kids saw.”
“The same kids that would play Bloody Mary with that mirror?” SuA asks as you point out the thrift shop in the distance.
“You guys have done more to solve my parents murder in the last twenty-four hours than the police have done in seven years.” You shake your head. “I don’t know how I could thank you.”
“Let’s save your friend first, and then let’s talk about thank you’s, alright?” SuA pulls into a nearby parking spot as you hand Siyeon the keys.
“Are you positive that the mirror is here?” Ryujin looks over to you as you nod.
“The woman who bought that mirror had died a few weeks later, of an actual stroke, and one of her children took it with them when they moved out of her house.” You explain as SuA nods along.
“That explains the lack of murders in seven years, but that means someone brought it back to your town.”
“I’ve used the thrift shop as a storage unit since my parents’ house was torn down two years ago. A few weeks ago, I saw that someone placed a floor-length mirror outside of the back door, so I brought it inside so it wouldn’t get smashed.” You hand the picture back to Siyeon. “The same mirror in that photo, minus the bloody message.”
“I hate to rush the exposition, but I’ve seen Bloody Mary in your side mirror.” Ryujin says before slapping a hand over your eyes. “Can we please get this show on the road?”
“Right. You get the hammer, I’ll get the shotgun.” Siyeon says as she and SuA exit the car at the same time.
“I’m fucked, aren’t I?” Ryujin whimpers as you rub her shoulder.
“They hunt ghosts, or whatever they tried to explain to us. We have to keep you alive long enough for them to deal with this.” You attempt to comfort her as you hear the trunk of the car slam shut.
You roll down the window as SuA approaches your side of the car.
“Hey, be careful out there. I still want to get coffee with you sometime.” You offer her a cheerful smile as she runs a hand through her hair.
“You don’t have to worry about me, babe, I’ve got you. Both of you.” SuA winks at you before walking towards the thrift shop.
You shyly look away as Ryujin punches your shoulder.
“Can you flirt with her when I’m not near certain death?”
~
“Of course there isn’t any electricity.” SuA quietly grumbles before flipping the light switch off. “Where did they say the mirrors were?”
“Up ahead, and to the left.” Siyeon says before following your instructions. “Here we are.”
“How many mirrors are there?” SuA says as she looks at the collection of floor-length mirrors. “Do we start smashing, or…?”
“Maybe if we summon her, she will appear from the mirror that was in her house.” Siyeon says before turning to a mirror hung on the wall.
“That’s a terrible idea that will get us both killed.” SuA tries to pull Siyeon away, but Siyeon pushes her aside. “Don’t do this, I’m warning you.”
“Too late.” Siyeon locks eyes with the reflection in the mirror. “Bloody Mary, Blood Mary, Bloody Mary.”
The lights above them flicker as SuA approaches the first set of mirrors. The reflection of the flashing lights nearly blinds her, but she manages to smash the first one with little difficulty.
“Do you see her?” SuA yells before smashing another mirror.
“Not yet!” Siyeon calls out before turning to the side. “Keep going!”
The lights flash with increasing frequency as SuA continues to break every floor-length mirror that crosses her path.
Why would anyone ever have so many mirrors?
Again and again, SuA smashes every mirror that she sees. And again, none of them seem to stop the flashing lights. She travels deeper and deeper as her hammer strikes every mirror in her path.
SuA’s deep into the back of the thrift shop when Siyeon screams in pain.
“Siyeon-ah!” SuA yells out before running through a different part of the store.
How many different types of mirrors are there?
“She’s… here!” Siyeon manages to get out before another scream escapes her.
SuA doesn’t have time to smash every mirror she sees - she has to find the mirror, and fast.
She flies through the store, to the musical accompaniment of Siyeon’s sounds of terror and pain, until she spots a mirror with the tiniest bloodstain on it.
“Guess the mirror wasn’t totally clean, huh.” She says to herself before the hammer connects to the mirror.
It shatters instantly, just as Siyeon goes quiet.
“Siyeon!” SuA backtracks quickly, only to find Siyeon laying on the floor with blood coming from her eyes. “You okay?”
“I’ll live,” She mutters before slowly getting off of the floor, “but she won’t.”
Siyeon weakly points ahead of her, where a woman that matches Ryujin’s descriptions and the autopsy report disappears into a cloud of black smoke.
“You think she’s gone for good?” Siyeon quietly asks.
“As long as the mirror stays shattered, I’d say so.”
~
“I suppose I should say thank you.” You say as you approach the Chevy Impala.
SuA leans against the driver’s side door with a smirk.
“I suppose I should say that you’re welcome, but I think an apology is in order.”
She sheepishly looks away as you wave off her concerns.
“Don’t worry about the mirrors. They’re not worth the price of someone’s life.” You look over to the thrift shop. “Besides, it’s time that I let that place go. It’s just a collection of bad memories and poor decisions. Something more positive and welcoming should take its place.”
“You’re selling it?”
“No, I’m giving it to Ryujin. She’s dreamed of owning her own coffee shop since she started working at that little cafe uptown.” You gaze at the keys in your hand. “She’ll make better use of the space, I know it.”
SuA tilts her head at you.
“How is she?”
“Fine. Nothing that a pint of beer and a bit of therapy won’t fix.” You laugh to yourself. “How’s Siyeon?”
“A bit shaken up, but nothing major. Brushes with death are pretty common in our line of work.”
“Well, for your sake and mine, I hope you’ll be a bit safer through your travels.” You bite your lip as SuA takes a step toward you.
“You’ll be thinking of me, even after we leave? How sweet.” SuA teases you before you retaliate.
“It’s not every day that I meet a girl as forthcoming, kind, and attractive as you.” You flirt back before taking a step towards SuA.
It’s in this moment that you realize how close you are to one another, and another step from one of you will cause your bodies (and hopefully your lips) to collide.
“If you keep sweet-talking me, I might not be able to leave.”
There’s a shred of honesty behind SuA’s flirting - she’s seriously considering staying for another night or two.
“Maybe that’s the idea,” You take a half-step forward, and you place a quick peck on her cheek, “but you have more people to save, no?”
“Unfortunately, I do, but I’m not ruining this moment.”
SuA pulls you closer by grabbing your hips, and before you have time to relax, her lips collide with yours. You immediately kiss her back as your hands land on her shoulders.
You only break off when you need air, and SuA looks at you with a proud smile.
“Maybe I’ll come back some day.” She lets go of you before pulling her aviators off of her head.
“Maybe.” You softly repeat as SuA climbs into the car.
Siyeon offers you a friendly wave before rolling down her window and handing you a piece of paper.
“For later, when you miss SuA.” She says before the Impala pulls out of the parking spot and heads back onto the road.
After the car leaves your field of vision, you look at the note in your hand.
Written in pen is SuA’s phone number, followed by a brief message:
For when you miss SuA, or if anything in this town ever requires our area of expertise. - Siyeon.
You smile to yourself.
Maybe you’ll call the Winchester girl and see if she’s free for a week or two in the future. Maybe you’ll call just to hear her voice and ask about her adventures. Maybe you’ll wait for her to track down your phone number and call you first.
maybe, maybe, maybe.

This is the best birthday gift ever. The fluff🥺 and all of it including my friends! The interactions with you Katie made the story very heartwarming and comforting to me. Thank you so much for this. I am spoiled by one of the most amazing person i know
gimme all your lovin' (all your hugs and kisses too!) ~ k. mj.
a/n: a birthday present for @dark-night-insomniac ❤️ happy birthday, my dear! you deserve all of the love and sweetness that the world can offer you 🫶
tw: partying shenanigans, a non-paladin reader in a paladin AU, a not-so-obvious dirty joke, someone is accidentally cut with a kitchen utensil (safety people!), you may get cavities from the tooth-rotting fluff!
related: sorry for party rockin'!, we're never getting back together (like ever?), look at me! look at me!
summary: your date with Minji is cut short when a pair of your mutual friends call you. you're inevitably dragged into their shenanigans, but it can't be all bad with leftover food and Minji by your side.
♡ Masterlist ♡

You did like going to parties, especially ones that involved Katie and the other Paladins. They were always fun, a bit rowdy at times, but still lots of fun for you.
“We can go, if you'd like.” JiU lightly squeezes your hand as you stare at the invitation on your phone. “I know someone on the waitstaff, we can push our reservation back an hour or two-”
“No, it's alright, Katie will have to survive without us.” You switch to your messaging app of choice to let Katie know of your decision. “They'll be fine. What could possibly go wrong?”
~
You and JiU, your lovely girlfriend, walk to your home from the restaurant. After a successful date night, neither of you wanted to leave each other alone. You could've called for a ride, but what fun was that? Your apartment was a few blocks down the road, and the weather was fair enough for you to walk back.
“Thank you for dinner tonight.” JiU smiles before lightly kissing your cheek. “I love when we can spend nights together, with just the two of us.”
You chuckle softly, trying to hide your nervousness. You've been dating for a while, but the magnificent goddess next to you still gives you butterflies.
“Anything for you, my dear.” You pull her close with your interlocked hands.
She softly gasps as your free hand lands on her waist. With a beaming smile, one you couldn't resist, she leans in and kisses you.
You kiss her back and pull her as close as possible until your phone buzzes in your pocket.
“Should you get that?” JiU asks as you shake your head.
“It's not as important as you are at this moment.” You ignore the vibrations as she loudly squeals.
“Awww, you're so sweet to me!” She leans in for another kiss, but she's interrupted by her phone ringing. “I'm sorry, love, let me see-”
Her smile drops slightly as she checks the caller ID.
“Who is it?” You tilt your head as you fish your phone out of your pocket.
“It's Dami.”
Your eyes widen as you look at your phone's call history.
“Well, that's not good.”
“Who called you?”
“Katie.”
You exchange a nervous look with JiU before she picks up her phone. At the same time, you call Katie back, hoping that this isn't as much of an emergency as it seems to be.
~
As you enter JiU's house, the one you've been in before with her and her friends, you stare in complete shock with how trashed the place is. Articles of clothing have landed on ceiling fans and lamps, and some are of the more…. intimate variety. Plastic cups are littered around the stairwell, and a trail of food crumbs leads in and out of the kitchen variety.
“It seems like everyone had fun.” JiU remarks with a small snort at the end of her statement.
You check your phone for the time - 11:45 p.m. - where is everyone?
“We're in here.” Dami calls from the downstairs bathroom, and JiU looks over to the kitchen.
“I'm going to check around and see if anyone else is here, okay?” She rubs your shoulder before pressing a kiss to your check.
You grab her hand and kiss it before she giggles and heads into the kitchen. You walk forward and take a left into the bathroom, where you gasp at the sight in front of you.
Katie, idly swinging her legs, sits on the bathroom counter top as Dami sits on a wooden stool with a first aid kit in hand.
“Are you hurt?” You rush over to her side as she sighs and shakes her head.
“No, Dami's worrying over nothing-”
“You cut yourself on a kitchen knife. I want to make sure that you're okay before we call everyone back inside.” Dami grabs a bandaid and gently grabs Katie's arm.
“So there's no emergency? No life-ending event?” You lean against the door as you let out a sigh. “You made us worried, you know. You two don't tend to call us unless it's serious. What did you need from us?”
“We could use some help cleaning up, if you don't mind,” Dami disinfectant the wound, which causes Katie to hiss in pain, “plus some people needed some time to cool off outside.”
You look towards a nearby window, where surely enough, a large group of people are gathered in the backyard of the house.
“Will they be alright out there?” You ask.
“King and Kim Lip already flattened the flower bed, and there's not much outside they can wreck besides that.” Dami informs you as JiU joins your side.
“SuA's going to be pissed when she finds out.” JiU adds as Dami places the bandage over the wound on Katie's hand. “How are you going to tell her?”
“Neon said that he and Siyeon had it handled… so I'm leaving it to them.” Dami answers before setting the first aid kit aside. “You're all good to help out with cleaning.”
She lightly taps Katie's knee twice before backing away from the counter. Katie jumps down as Dami sets the stool aside.
“That's your plan for telling SuA?” Your eyes widen as Katie stares at you.
“Do either of you have any better ideas?” She pauses. “No? That's what I thought. Let's clean up the house - maybe we can make the lecture slightly shorter if we do that much.”
~
“How did you end up with this mess?” You pick a red solo cup up from the couch and place it into a garbage bag as Katie plays fifty-two pick-up with a deck of cards on the ground.
“It was supposed to be an intimate gathering between friends, but Ryujin just had to post it everywhere. I had to make extra food, people brought over extra booze, and some people got a little wild. I had to take some people home, like Yeji, who were too drunk to even stand properly.” She explains as you nod your head.
“And the other Paladins?”
“Mala and Tzuyu are running bets outside over some silly game, Neon and Siyeon are knocked out in another room, Sparrow's run off with Yunjin and Kazuha, and I had to drive Kim Lip and King home.”
“How'd that go?” You ask.
“All they did was sing ‘Sorry For Party Rockin’ acapella for twenty minutes,” Katie shudders as she recalls the memory, “Oh, and they both vomited five seconds after leaving my car, thank God.”
“So it’s been an eventful night?”
“Most definitely, I have so much blackmail- er, I mean, photos to show you later!” Katie sets the deck of cards aside before heading into the kitchen. “We still have leftover food, if you’re interested in some. I’d feel bad if you guys did all that cleaning and didn’t get anything for it.”
“We’ll be fine, and I should be getting back anyways. It’s well past midnight at this point, and I’m sure people will want to head home-” You start to decline her offer before you hear Minji happily clap from the kitchen.
“Please, Dami, I’ll only have a few bites~” You can practically hear the puppy dog eyes in her words as Dami sighs.
“I know how well that went with the cookies Katie made for me last time-”
“-You didn’t say they were made for you. I saw cookies, so I ate them.” JiU peeks her head into the living room to speak with the girl in question. “Katie, you don’t mind, right?”
“Take as much as you need, I can always make more.” Katie insists before JiU gives her a thumbs up and sends you a wink. “C’mon, darling, let’s eat!”
“We just had dinner!” You sigh as your stomach grumbles at the thought of food. “Maybe a bite or two couldn’t hurt.”
“You two have fun, alright? I’ve got another room to clean up, and Dami’s going to take out the trash before we let everyone back in. You’ll want to be gone by then - our hungry drunks aren’t going to be too pleased with the food being ravaged.”
With that, Katie heads into an extension of the living room as you and JiU head into the kitchen. There’s a wide variety of treats - more than enough to please even the pickiest of eaters.
“She really did make enough food to feed an army.” You stare in wonder as JiU grabs one of the infamous strawberry cheesecake cupcakes. “I thought you weren’t hungry for dessert… were you anticipating an extra snack from Katie?”
“Guilty as charged!” She mumbles between bites.
You both laugh together, and your heart sores as her soft giggles graze your ears. It’s moments like this that remind you why you love JiU - she’s so honest and open about everything.
“I love you.” You say as she turns to you.
“I love you more, my dear.”
“Impossible, really.” You joke before pulling her in for another kiss.
It wouldn’t be the last you share that night, not by a mile. You wouldn’t grow tired of her affections - not now, not ever.
And you had to thank Katie and her friends - they gave you a reason to be even closer to JiU, after all.
Like you needed to have one in the first place.

Thank you so much🤭🥺❤️
Hi darling,
I first want to wish you a wonderful day, don’t forget to rest and eat enough okay?
I wanted to pitch you an idea for a dreamcatcher jiu fluff x reader story.
I was thinking the reader starts going to a martial arts class and one of the trainer is jiu. Lots of mischief and fluff as reader is paired with jiu. Any domestical fluff imagine would also work if that inspires you more, reader going to dc’ dorm after a long/bad day for comfort perhaps.
Take care🫶

summary: after being robbed one day, you sign up for a martial arts class where you meet your trainer and future girlfriend, jiu
word count: 2.9k
contents: martial arts trainer!jiu, student!reader, gender neutral reader, fluff, there’s some build up, i got carried away, protective!jiu, sorta domestic (small glimpse into readers life with jiu ft. the girls), mentions of a non-fatal attack on reader, jiu is referred to by her birth name “minji”
authors note: sooo sorry to this sweet and lovely anon and everyone else who sent in requests, it’s been a month since you sent this in. a lot has happened but the school year is almost over and i’m getting my shit together. i will try to write more often but no promises, i’m still getting back on my feet
After you were robbed while walking home one night, you realized how bad you are at defending yourself.
It wasn’t a fatal attack, the criminal just took some of your belongings and left. Nonetheless, the incident left you quite paranoid, keeping cautious of every persons movements and every sound around you.
You even stopped listening to music in public so you could hear anyone who could be attempting to attack you.
After a few weeks of living in fear and anxiety, you decided you weren’t going to let it take over you. Living day to day being so overly cautious about everything was overwhelming and exhausting, you felt drained 24/7.
You decided you would learn to defend yourself, so if it ever did happen again, you would know exactly what to do.
You signed up for a nearby martial arts program recommended by your friend, who had went there for a few years.
Before officially joining, you were given a tour of the company to get a sense of the environment and what you’d be learning.
Your tour guide was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women you’ve ever met, so beautiful that you caught yourself paying more attention to her face than her words.
She was also very sweet, having introduced herself in a very elegant and soft way, quite a contrast to the intense vibe of the rest of the building and members.
“I’m Minji, I’m your tour guide. If you do decide to join, I’ll be one of your trainers.” She had said, a big smile on her face that reminded you a lot of a rabbit.
When she was done showing you around, she brought you to the main room where all the members of the program are taught.
You got to see what the students were learning, how they were doing, and how the trainers teach. It all seemed intense, but it was nothing you couldn’t handle. You wanted to finally feel safe again, after all.
But when Minji personally showed you some martial arts skills, you were floored.
You watched i’m amazement as she did incredible moves you didn’t even know the name of. That cute bunny look of hers quickly turned into something darker, more serious.
“Woah,” you mutter stupidity, awkwardly standing there as she shows you her skills.
When she was finished, her face returned to its usual smiley and bright smile.
Safe to say, you were gonna attend this program.
Your first day was very nerve wracking, everyone around you seemed so much more experienced.
However, everyone there was very kind to you, the trainers were very understanding with you and guided you thoroughly without taking too much pity on you.
Kinji specifically was very patient with you, being very sweet but firm as she taught you, sometimes coming close to you to adjust your form and movements.
It made your heart race every time.
You could get used to this, you decided.
The students were very nice too, you had specifically made friends with one of the students named Gahyeon who was around your age.
As kept coming in every week, you and Gahyeon began to talk even more, and soon enough, you became good friends with her.
And with each passing week, you grew closer with Minji as well, but not in the way you did with Gahyeon.
With Minji, you felt like you were falling for her more and more each time you saw her.
At some point, your motive changed from “learn how to protect yourself” to “get the stances correct to earn praise from Minji”.
Of course you were still learning so you could defend yourself if needed, but you also loved being around your trainer, and you couldn’t help but yearn for something more.
You end up confessing this to Gahyeon one night over drinks at your place.
To your surprise, Gahyeon is not phased when you rant on about how much of a crush you have on Minji.
“It was like, incredibly obvious. You look at her like a lost puppy.” She said, chuckling at how head over heels you are.
“Was it really that obvious?” You ask, your cheeks flushing slightly. You couldn’t help but wonder if Minji could tell.
“Painfully so,” Gahyeon says, taking another sip of wine.
“But,” She says, putting her glass down on the table and looking at you with a grin on her face.
“lucky for you, I happen to be good friends with both of her roommates, which makes me good friends with her, which means I could totally set you two up.”
Your eyes light up at that, a hopeful look on your face as you smile at Gahyeon. “Really? You’d do that?”
“Of course! I’m only doing this because I do think she likes you as well. I’ve never seen her teach students the way she teaches you.” Gahyeon says, and it makes your heart race to think that Minji could feel the same way you feel.
“So, how would you set us up?” You ask, already seeming to overthink everything.
“Minji unnie loves to visit the cafe near the building after classes, she says it’s a nice place to unwind after teaching. I could tell her somebody is interested in her and wants to meet her there.”
Gahyeon must’ve noticed the unsure look on your face, because she raises an eyebrow asks you what’s wrong.
“It’s just, isn’t that a bit cheesy? Are you sure she’d like that?” You ask, your nerves getting to your head.
“Nah, she loves cheesy love tropes. I think she’d be more happy to see that it’s you.” Gahyeon says, reaching her hand over the table to pat your shoulder reassuringly.
“Plus, almost every person in the 90s used to meet the love of their lives through set-ups. This could be your soulmate.” She says in a sing-song voice, trying to convince you to take the opportunity.
After a few moments of thinking, you nod softly, which causes Gahyeon to cheer and have her own mini celebration.
“I’m gonna be so happy for you two if this does work out and you start dating.” She says, smiling at you.
“Thank you, Gahyeon. I’m glad I have you as a friend.” You say, feeling your nerves calm for a moment as you return the smile.
“It’s nothing, really. I just love seeing my friends happy.” She says, reaching down to grab her whine glass and raising it in front of the both of you.
“To a happy future relationship with Minji unnie!”
You chuckle and raise your glass as well, happy to see how excited your best friend is about this whole thing.
“Cheers,” you say, clinking your glasses together.
The following weekend, Gahyeon is on the phone helping you get ready to meet Minji at her favorite cafe.
You’re currently freaking out about which outfit goes better with the spring-themed gift basket you prepared.
“This outfit matches the aesthetic of the basket, while this one matches the aesthetic of her.“ You say, your phone pushed up against your ear and your shoulder as you look between the two outfits you picked out prior to today.
“Because y’know, this one matches the spring colors but this one looks more like something she’d enjoy, plus the small rabbits on it since she kind of looks like a rabbit herself,” You ramble your eyes darting between the two outfits.
“You don’t think you should’ve figured this out beforehand?” Gahyeon asks, slight amusement in her tone as she listens to you panic.
“I didn’t think it would’ve been this difficult.” You say, groaning in frustration.
“I think you should go with the second outfit. If it fits her vibe more, she’ll like it.” Gahyeon says, attempting to pull you out of your crisis.
You look over the second outfit once more, nodding at Gahyeon’s words even though she can’t see you.
“…Alright, I’ll go with this one,” You say, bringing the outfit into the bathroom with you as you get ready to change.
After a few minutes of getting dressed and triple checking your appearance, you leave the house, trying not to let your nerves get the best of you.
When you arrive at the cafe, you sit in your car for a few seconds to reassure yourself. You look over into the cafe’s windows, seeing Minji sitting down at one of the tables for two, looking as beautiful as ever.
You take a deep breath, grabbing the gift basket and flowers you picked up for her before you exit your car, closing the door behind you as you walk into the cafe.
Minji’s head raises to look at you as you walk in and make your way to the table she’s at.
Minji looks pleasantly surprised to see you, and she can’t help but notice how nice you look. She’s never seen you outside of martial arts, so this was a nice side of you to see.
“Hi,” She says, her signature bunny smile lighting up her face.
“You’re the person Gahyeon wanted me to meet?” She asks, slightly pushing the menu towards you as you sit down across from her.
“Yes,” You say, clearing your throat in attempt to calm yourself down. You hadn’t met up with anyone in a while, let alone someone you really liked.
“Well, you could’ve asked me yourself, silly. I would’ve said yes.” She giggles, finding you very cute when you’re flustered.
Before you can say anything else, her eyes brighten as she notices the gifts you brought for her.
“Are these for me?” She asks, and you nod as you hand her the flowers and the gift basket.
She brings the flowers near her nose, taking in the fresh smell. “Lilies,”
She looks back up at you, her face now showing a more soft and loving expression. “My favorite. How did you know?”
“Well, I remember you told me your English name is Lily. I figured you must like lilies.” You say, shyly looking down at the menu. The look on her face was enough to melt your heart.
“You pay attention to the small details,” Minji says, chuckling softly as she brings the flowers to her nose once more. “I like that.”
You smile. This is going great so far.
“Is this a gift basket?” She asks, setting down the flowers next to her and grabbing the small basket.
You nod, watching as she looks through the gift. “I made it myself.”
Minji pauses as she notices something in particular.
She reaches further into the basket, pulling out a small rabbit plush. She coos, looking up at you.
“This is so cute! It looks like the design on your outfit!”
She noticed, You thought.
“Thank you,” She says, hugging the plush close to her chest.
“Of course, you deserve it.” You say, and you can’t help but notice how beautiful she is.
“I feel a bit bad now, I didn’t bring anything for you.” She says, pouting softly.
“It’s alright, you didn’t know. I just wanted to make it clear how much you mean to me, past the training.”
Minji smiles at that, bringing her hand down to tap the menu in front of you.
“The least I can do is pay for your order.”
The meet up with your trainer went way better than you thought it would.
You and Minji seemed to have grown even closer since that day, having gone on a few more dates since then.
On one particular night, when you two were cuddled up together watching a movie, Minji suddenly paused the movie and looked deep into your eyes.
You’re about to ask her what’s wrong when you notice her looking into your eyes as if they held the entire solar system within them.
“Minji—”
“I wanna be your girlfriend.”
Your mouth shuts. Your eyes widen as you stare at each other.
“Minji, I…”
“I don’t know why I feel it so strongly in this moment, but I really wanna be your girlfriend.”
You smile softly, cupping her cheeks gently.
“Why so suddenly?” You ask, to which she shrugs, returning the soft smile.
“It just suddenly came to me as we were laying here together, in each other’s arms.” She said, leaning into your touch.
“I realized, I want to do this forever. The way I feel right now…I want to feel it forever.”
You’re left speechless as Minji confesses her love to you. No one’s ever said anything like that to you before. It made you feel so loved, so special.
You also wanted to feel that way forever.
“So…?” Minji says, slightly nervous at your silence.
You realize you’ve been quiet this whole time.
“Yes,” you say, nodding softly as you smile at her. “I feel the same way, Minji.”
Her eyes light up as she grins widely, pulling you in for a gentle, passionate kiss in which you happily return.
Now, you and Minji have been dating for almost a year.
Gahyeon was ecstatic when you told her, going on about how she’s basically cupid, and that you and Minji are basically her adoptive parents now.
You’d roll your eyes at her playful happiness, but hug her tightly nonetheless, thanking her for everything she’s done for you.
Dating Minji is nothing short of a dream. She’s the most caring, kind and beautiful person you’ve ever met.
Many people in the past have told you that the fuzzy feeling you get in a new relationship never lasts long. That you’d get sick of her sometimes just like you would with anyone else.
That was never true with you and Minji.
Eleven months into your relationship, and you still crush on her like the first day you met. That fuzzy feeling never went away, in fact it only got stronger.
When things would get rough, she would cook your favorite meals, get your favorite snacks, and cuddle you under the blankets while she puts on your favorite shows. She’d even sing to you sometimes.
Today was a particularly difficult day. Work had been stressful, you were very exhausted, and all you wanted was to hold your girlfriend and make it all go away.
As you walked into Minji’s apartment, you’re greeted by her two roommates, Siyeon and Bora on the couch, to which you greet them back.
As you walk further into the living room, you see Minji’s other friends, Dong, Yoohyeon, Yubin, and of course, Gahyeon, who greets you by jumping up and pulling you into a tight hug.
You admit that the sight of the lively home full of people you two are close with had helped a bit with your exhaustion, but you have yet to see the one person you’ve missed the most.
You walk into the kitchen, spotting Minji making dinner.
Your feet move before your brain does, and within a few seconds, you find yourself wrapping your arms around Minji from behind, burying your face into her neck.
Minji pauses, a small smile forming on her face as she realizes you’re home.
“Hi, baby,” She says sweetly, halting her task of making dinner as she places her hands on yours where they rest on her waist. “Rough day?”
You nod, taking in her sweet vanilla scent.
“Missed you so much.” You mumble, nuzzling closer to her.
Minji turns around in your hold, now facing you as she cups your cheeks and brings you into a sweet kiss, pulling away after a few seconds.
“Go ahead and shower, baby. I’ll bring dinner to you in bed when it’s ready, then we can cuddle, okay?” She says, her gentle hold on your cheeks never faltering.
You nod, wanting nothing more than to be held by her in bed.
She presses one last kiss to your forehead before you pull away.
A little while later, you’re in Minji’s bed, holding her pillow in your arms as it was the closest thing to her actual body.
Minji knocks on the door, announcing her presence before opening the door and shutting it behind her, holding a tray with a plate of food in her hands.
“Hey, baby,” She sets the tray down on the dresser next to her bed, climbing in next to you as you immediately wrap your arms around her and nuzzling close to her.
She smiles, holding you tightly as she runs her fingers through your hair. “Baby, your dinner.”
“I’ll eat later. Just wanna hold you,” You say, your voice slightly muffled.
Minji chuckles softly, nodding as she rubs your back. “Okay, baby.”
You two stay like that for a while, until you eventually find the energy to eat your dinner. Now, you and Minji are watching a movie together when you hear a knock on the door.
“Come in!” Minji calls out.
The door opens to reveal Yoohyeon, smiling as she sees you two cuddled up.
“We’re about to play Uno. You guys wanna join?”
Minji looks down at you, silently asking if you were ready for any outside interaction.
You nod softly, and you two get out of bed.
“Let’s see if I can get you to draw twenty again,” You tease as you follow Yoohyeon down the halls into the living room.
“I swear that was cheating!” Yoohyeon pouts.
“This better not turn into a screaming match again.” Minji says, playfully rolling her eyes as you three enter the living room.

Dreamcatcher - Reaction to Reader Having A Sinus Infection/ Cold (Requested!)
a/n: two posts in less than a week???? who is this more motivated panda??? jk i'm trolling myself but i really wanted to have the two requests done in the same week. also happy jiu day!!! here's to the hope that her fic won't come out three weeks late! :] ❤️
tw: gruesome descriptions of a cold, food mentions, my brain went brrr when it got to Dami's section so hers is longer
related fic: le sserafim's version
♡ Masterlist ♡
Prompt: You swear you didn’t feel this terrible yesterday. All you had was a bit of congestion and a scratch in your throat. Today, when you woke up, you could barely lift your head off of the pillow due to the congestion in your head. You were sure that you had enough snot to fill a trash can within your two nostrils. All you wanted to do was lay down and rest, but the ding of your phone causes you to lift your head again.
My Love: Do you mind if I come over? I miss you :(
You text her back with what you think is a comprehensible answer, and you rest your head against the pillow.
The next moment you’re awake, your girlfriend is sitting right next to you. So much for self-isolation.
“Darling, I’m here for you.”
JiU’s voice and gentle touch pulls you out of your slumber. You sniffle for a bit as she starts to rub your arm in a comforting manner.
“I can tell you’re sick,” She frowns for a moment before softly smiling to herself, “and I’m going to try to help you. What do you need from me?”
You cough into your elbow before sitting up in bed.
“You could cuddle with me, if you don’t mind getting sick?” You joke to yourself before seeing JiU move to your side. “I’m joking, please don’t make yourself sick-"
“If it’ll help you feel better, it’s worth the risk.” She wraps her arms around you as you gently pull her into the bed.
“I always feel better when you’re with me, Minji.”
A stuffed animal to the head isn’t an ideal way to wake up, but it sucks more when you’re sick and your sinus headache flares up immediately.
“You’ve been sick for days, and you didn’t text me earlier?” SuA scoffs as you toss the stuffed animal to the side.
“I would’ve, but I was afraid of that sort of reaction.”
“C’mon, I’m your girlfriend! I can take care of you when you need me. You do the same for me when I need you most.” SuA looks disappointed, and you sigh to yourself.
“Alright, Nurse Bora, you can take care of me. But don’t take it as an excuse to rearrange my whole apartment-” You state as she laughs happily.
“I won’t, I promise! You won’t regret this.” SuA gives you a big hug, which tackles you further into the bed.
“Is this supposed to be healing?” You joke.
“Is it working?”
“Oddly enough, it is.”
“Babe, wake up.”
You rub your eyes before looking over at Siyeon.
“Siyeon-ah?” You croak out before she shushes you.
“I saw the tissues and the medicine on the counter. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s wrong,” She looks around in her bag for a moment, “but it does take a genius for me to remember my gift for you.”
Siyeon continues to dig in her bag as you grab your water.
“Siyeon, it’s okay, I’m just happy that you’re here with me,” You try to reach out to her with your hand, but she’s preoccupied, “Siyeon?”
Siyeon pauses for a moment, blinks twice, before gently placing her hand on her forehead.
“I forgot your care package at the dorms, I’m so sorry-”
You go to grab Siyeon’s hand, and you successfully do so before tumbling out of bed.
Siyeon laughs as she lays on top of you, apparently you pulled her down with you, and you find yourself doing the same.
“Feel better?” She smiles at you.
“I do.”
You wake up, alone, and you attempt to reach for your phone, but it’s not there anymore. You fumble in the dark for a few moments before a soft light appears next to you. Handong (who looks absolutely beautiful in the light) sits next to you.
“Sorry, love, your phone was almost dead and I wanted to make sure it was charged for you.” Handong adjusts the light as you cough and sit up in bed. “I wasn’t sure you were in the mood for company.”
“I’d rather have you here.” You weakly say. “Thanks for coming.”
“Good, because if you asked me to leave, I would’ve stayed in your living room until you passed out from exhaustion or fell asleep.”
“Geez, Handong, it’s like you’re obsessed with me or something. What a perv~” You chuckle as she scoffs before lightly smacking you. “Wow, hurt the ill. Way to prove a point.”
“Glad you’re feeling better.” She smiles before rubbing your shoulder. “You deserved that, by the way.”
“I disagree, you’re so mean to me.” You whine before laughing alongside her.
"Hey Siri!”
You raise your head, checking for Yooh’s phone, before burying your head back into a pillow.
“She’s not here.” You mumble to yourself.
Yoohyeon calls out to her phone, again, before opening the door to your room.
“Have you seen my phone?” She asks as you rise from your bed.
“No, I don’t think you’ve been in here. I would've woken up earlier if you had been.”
“Oh, you’re totally right!” She closes the door for a moment before opening it again. “I bought a few things from the store, and I’m going to order food when I can find my phone. Just stay in bed until you feel better, and I’ll bring you everything, alright?”
“Yooh, it’s okay, I can get out of bed.” You try to pull off the covers, but Yoohyeon’s disapproving glare causes you to stay in bed.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of you… once I find my phone.” She sighs to herself before facing away from the door. “Hey Siri!”
You’re happy to have Yoohyeon as a caretaker since you know she’ll take good care of you once her affairs are in order, of course.
Before you rise out of bed, you pull the mysterious, foreign (wet?) object from your face. When you realize that it’s a washcloth, you put it back onto your face. Laying down with that thing on your head feels like the best thing possible, since it helps relieve your headache.
Unfortunately, the drainage from your nose prevents you from completely lying down. You suffice for a half-up, half-down method of lounging before reaching for your phone.
Your hand meets a glass of water before your phone, and you happily drink from it as you are provided with some temporary relief from your sore throat. You wonder who did all of this… you didn’t text anyone, did you?
When you get to your phone, you notice multiple missed calls and messages from Dami.
My Love: I’ll be over in a few minutes, I need to grab a few things from the dorm.
Are you alright? You haven’t answered me yet.
One of your work friends texted me that you called out sick, so I’m guessing that you’re resting. If you see this, I’ll be there when you wake up.
“Dami, honey, where are you?” You call out to her before coughing.
“I’m in the living room, darling. Do you want me to come in?” Dami asks from the other side of the door. “I came in earlier to put a washcloth on your face since you were running a fever, and then I grabbed water in case you wanted it.”
“You can come in, if you want.” You set the water down as Dami opens the door. “Thanks for the water and the washcloth.”
“I don’t mind helping you out since it looked like you needed it.” She says before a light smile breaks out onto her face. “Sorry, I didn’t mean it like that.”
“Thanks, Dami,” You sit up fully and readjust the washcloth, “I appreciate the sentiment. Hopefully, you weren’t busy before you came over.”
“I wanted to see you, anyway. How are you feeling?”
“Not great, but I’m managing. I get these sinus infections every year.” You shrug to yourself. “They’re terrible, but after a day or two off of work, I’ll be back to myself… mostly.”
She smiles to herself before looking you over again.
“If there’s anything you need, at all, I can get it for you.”
“Thanks, love, I appreciate it.” You say before Dami closes the door and leaves you to get more rest.
“Why did you text me? I'm right here next to you.” Gahyeon grumbles for a moment before turning to face you. “Listen, I know you're upset with me for getting you sick, but I'll make it up to you-”
“-with hugs and kisses and lots of affection?” You force your cutest expression as she tries to hold back her laughter.
“I was going to offer to pay for dinner, but I can go for the free option if you would like.” She wraps her arms around you after you pull her closer. “I'm really sorry, babe, I didn't mean to get you sick after you took care of me.”
“It was worth it, seeing you so happy. I'd do it all over again for you.” You say before covering your mouth for an incoming cough.
“You're so sweet,” She blushes as she mumbles into your chest, “and I love you so much.”
You hear her sniffle as you chuckle to yourself.
“I love you too, every bit of you. And you don't need to apologize for getting me sick, I was probably infected before I came over to your place.”
You both laugh as your ailment drifts toward the back of your mind, at least until you feel the urge to sneeze.

9.40pm
(Y'all shall be getting a timestamp drabble for this month because I’ve been under the weather this past few weeks and it’s been miserable 💀 the weather has been so cold lately my body can’t adapt to it and I’m just coughing nonstop so I’m just gonna write some very self-indulgent stuff)
Warning(s): You’re sick.
Word count: About 1.1k
-
Through the darkness, you could hear footsteps from afar, leading you to an unknown place. Although you would not see your surroundings, you were calm and comfortably warm. You weren’t too sure where you were or how you got here but it felt nice and comforting enough for you to stay where you were. Settling down, you thought to yourself, “This isn’t too bad of a place.”
Hearing the muffled footsteps approach, you attempted to look around you yet again, only to still be met with darkness. Frowning, you stood back up cautiously, aware that you were no longer alone.
A sudden impact from your side forced a choked gasp of air to escape your lips as you were blinded by a dazzling light as your eyes ripped open in shock. You would have been concerned that whatever you were looking at was spinning or that everything seemed too bright but your body took control before your mind could and you wrecked out into wheezing coughs the moment your body woke up. Only when the coughing let up slightly did you manage to slowly reopen your eyes, groaning as the lights stung and caused tears to automatically start rolling out. Realizing that there was an extra weight on your thighs, you slowly turned to be met with a very concerned look from your girlfriend.
“You’re sick.”
Her usually loud voice was barely a whisper and through the fog, you realized that she probably lowered it for your sake. Wheezing out another cough, you cleared your throat to reply to her, only to find yourself weakly giving a hum, your brain struggling to form a coherent sentence.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
Pouting at the disappointment in her voice, you turned your head to bury yourself against your cool pillow. You knew that if you had given Bora a call, she would have dropped everything to rush over to look after you. As touching and heart-swooning as that were, you didn’t want to be a burden and interrupt her already busy schedule thinking that you could just sleep it off and get better. That obviously was not the case seeing as to how you didn’t seem to get better but instead struggle to even get out of bed and even missed your girlfriend’s phone calls with you drifting in and out of consciousness due to the medicine you ate.
Bora could probably tell how the guilt rolled off you as you hear her sigh and gently brush strands of hair behind your ear, cold hands pressing up against your forehead. A part of you wanted to tell her to not touch you, knowing that you haven’t had the strength to get up to wash up but the other parts of you relaxed at her touch, feeling relief that someone was there. Feeling her pull away and shuffle off you, a moment of panic washed over you, and through your heavy limbs, you reached for her with a whine before inevitably breaking out into a fit of coughs again.
Feeling her cool hands come back in contact with your heated skin as she gently guided you to lay back down fully, you heard another sigh before soft lips were placed on your head.
“I’m just going to make you some soup. I won’t be gone for long. Promise.”
Huffing, you nodded slowly as Bora placed another gentle peck near your lips, causing your lips to pull up into a tired smile. Squinting and watching as she left the room, you finally glanced around the room to see it spin and before nausea could get ahold of you, you closed your eyes again. Just like that, sleep overtook you again.
The next time you opened your eyes again, you didn’t feel any better but there was a damp cloth sitting on your forehead. Weakly looking to your sides, you saw a bowl of what you’d presume to be water on the bedside. Wanting to reach up to remove the cloth, you found yourself nicely tucked into the blankets. At this point, you knew that it was the doing of your lovely girlfriend. Pushing yourself up onto your elbows, you fought back the itch in your throat but failed and started coughing yet again. This time, however, you hear the thumping of steps as Bora ran into the room and she quickly started patting and rubbing your back to ease the coughing. Once it let up slightly, you looked up to see her with the same concerned look but with a mask on. You suppose that you were staring as she helped you sit up against the bedrest as she shook her head and cleared a space.
“I’m here to help you get better, not get myself sick too.”
Turning and leaving the room once again, she came back with the portable table and set it up in front of you before going back out again to retrieve a steaming bowl of soup. Although you didn’t have much of an appetite, your body responded with a loud growl at the sight of food being served to you. Bora let out a laugh at the way you could still act embarrassed and urged you to eat up. You couldn’t help but notice that your girlfriend was staring at you while you were eating so when you finally found the courage, you looked up from your soup to meet her eyes questioningly.
“You know you’re not a burden right? Even I will get sick eventually and I will definitely want you to be there for me too.”
Knowing that she hit the sore spot right on point as you quickly avoided eye contact and took another spoonful of soup, she sighed again.
“It’s okay to call on me whenever. I promised you that I will be here for you before and I intend to keep that promise.”
Seeing you nod slowly and look back up at her once again, she reached forward to give you a little pinch on your cheeks before sitting down by the side of the bed.
“Plus, you know. This is like practice for our wedding vows. In sickness and in health.”
On cue, you dropped your spoon into the bowl as you started another coughing fit, face flushing as her words repeated in your head. Hearing her loud laughter, you glared at her as she watched your reaction and fell over on the bed, still in giggles. Huffing in amusement, you shook your head. Yet as absurd as that was, you could feel your body warming up at the thought of the domesticity of a future between the both of you and suddenly your limbs were not as heavy and you felt like you could breathe in the freshest of air without the urge to cough. Although it was still cold outside and your body would take just a bit longer to recover, you could feel your body healing with just her presence.

My cat passed away and so ill be reading this :’) repost from the past :)
Dreamcatcher
| Reaction to their s/o being down after the loss of a pet
MINJI
She was at dance practice when she got the text from you. Jiu's brain was immediately scrambling trying to find a way to recomfort you. She called you, holding her breath.
When you answered, she heard you crying and so she told you to stay home and that she'd be going to you right away.
Once at your apartment, she opened the door to find you in a ball on the sofa. A pout was now apparent on her face as she practically ran to you. Without a word she bringed you into her arms and let you cry there for as long as you needed while she whispered loving words to you.
‘’I'm sorry honey, i promise i'll make sure everything is alright baby’’
She lifted your chin for you to look at her before laying a gentle kiss on your lips and caressing your cheek. She leaded you up the stairs to your bed and told you to wait for her to filled the tub with warm water. The rest of the night was going to be filled with a warm bath and her arms wrapped around you while she lulls you to sleep.
SUA
When you told her she looked at you shocked, not immediately believing you. But then she saw tears in your eyes and immediately grabbed your hands into hers.
‘’Are you okay?’’ Was all she managed to get out, you simply swayed your head from side to side. She pulled on your hands to get you into her arms where she held onto you with a firm grip. She kept reassuring you and rubbing your back. When you stopped crying she held your face with both her hands.
‘’How about we go have a movie night with the girls at the dorm?’’ She proposed with hopeful eyes. You agreed and she breathed out in relief, she wanted to do everything in her power to make you feel better.
The night was filled with warm embraces and laughter, all thanks to your amazing girlfriend. Once in bed she squeezed you in between her arms, you squirmed and told her to not hold you so tight to which she only replied
‘’I'm gonna hold onto you like this until i squeezed the sadness out of you’’
you laughed at her aegyo and accepted your fate as you laid your head on her chest.
SIYEON
Siyeon couldn't hold back her tears when she saw you enter her dorm with sad eyes pointing at the ground. She felt sad whenever you were, that's just how much she cared about you. You wobbled over to her and she gave you a big hug before breathing in and out in sync with you.
She picked you up to your surprise and bringed you to her room. You sat on her bed and she kneeled in front of you and looked into your eyes while holding your hands.
‘’How about a warm shower together? You had a long day right?’’ She asked and you nodded letting a few more tears fall, she caught them for you and gave you a hug before running to the bathroom to set up the towels and find clothes to change in after your shower. She helped you get in and held you the whole time.
You were now so relaxed you almost fell asleep in her arms. She noticed and helped you before dressing you with her softest clothes. Once in bed you were quick to sleep while she held onto you, hugging your head close to her lips where she left many kisses.
HANDONG
Handong wasn’t too sure how to handle or react to you being closed off and sad. She felt devastated knowing you were so sad. She let you have your space but checked on you from time to time.
Later she approached you with a little gift she got you, your favorite chocolate and asked you how you were feeling as she hugged you.
She kissed your cheek and then proposed to go visit her home the day after to spend time with her kitten to which you agreed with a small smile. She helped you prepare to go to bed before gently tugging you next to her in bed. She left a kiss on your forehead and held you gently while rubbing your back.
‘’I'm here for you y/n’’ she said while smiling at you.
A sweet kiss was shared before you fell asleep content knowing tomorrow you'd be in handong’s home cuddling with her and her cat.
YOOHYEON
She cried as soon as she heard the news, if not more than you. She felt bad for you and invited you to stay over at the dorm with her until you felt better. You refused at first but she held your arm stopping you from leaving to go back home alone. She knew you were sad and wanted you to stay with her.
She put Pie on your lap and went off to the kitchen to try and cook you your comfort food, she came back with cookies and presented them to you with a proud smile. You looked at her rambling about the recipe for it, she was so adorable and it made you shed a tear again.
‘’Y/n? Tell me what's going through your mind’’ she sadly asked and placed the plate down to sit next to you. She grabbed your hand and caressed it with her thumb.
‘‘I just really love you Yooh, that's all’’
She blushed before tackling you and pie in a hug.
‘’Thank you’’ you whisper to her
‘’Anything for you baby’’
YUBIN
She cursed under her breath as soon as she read your message. It was her day today luckily and so she immediately was on her way but not before getting you a few things. She got you takeout from your favorite place and a plushy reminiscing of your past pet. She entered your apartment with the spare key you gave her and went upstairs to your room.
She found you napping on your bed. She didn't want to disturb your much needed sleep after what happened this morning so she opted on setting up your favorite movie and the takeout on plates for the both of you to enjoy.
Once done she sat next to your sleeping figure and pushed away the strands of hair in the way of your eyes and caressed your cheek. You slowly opened your eyes and you wrapped your arms around her waist immediately making her fall on you with a giggle. She kissed your forehead.
‘’Hey babe, i got something for you’’
You turned around and saw everything she had set up for you. You tackled her once again before she gently kissed her while a few tears fell from your face to hers.
‘’Thank you’’
‘’Of course y/n’’ she smiled
GAHYEON
Gahyeon answered your call only to hear you sniffling. She asked what happened and when you told her your pet passed away just a few hours before she couldn't help but cry with you. She felt really bad because she was recording for the album and couldn't immediately go to you.
She told you to go to the dorm and that she'd join you as soon as her work was done. She texted Yoohyeon to get takeout from your favorite place for dinner and hurried finishing up her recording. Once at the dorm she went to the kitchen and asked jiu were you where.
‘’They’re laying down in your room’’ jiu sadly smiled
Gahyeon grabbed the nearest box of food on the counter and was on her way to you. She opened the door and saw you hugging the biggest plushie she had. She cooed at you in sadness. She bringed you into her arms and held you close. She turned on your comfort tv show and asked if you were hungry. When you said no she proposed to feed you and only then did you feel you had enough energy left to eat. while you were snuggled close to her body she fed you and gently patted your head while you were now distracted by the tv.
You soon fell asleep on her and she covered the both of you with her blankets
