I was going home from work, and I'd been feeling weird all day. I'd just thought I was getting sick again, so I brushed it off. My memory's a little hazy, but I know I had a panic attack. Can't remember why. Anyway, the weird feeling just went away, and when I started calming down, there was this bubble around me. I freaked out again, it went away, and I ran home. Didn't come out for two weeks, I think.

Sounds very interesting. It's horrible that you would have to suffer through a panic attack, but perhaps you subconsciously used your powers as a way to protect yourself from the outside world.

Your powers are nothing to be afraid of, and I hope you are confident in them now.

One night, me and my dad were arguing... which was "normal", but this one was particularly bad. Had to do with his shitty Lifeline protests, how he thought of Conduits... I only supported them at the time, didn't know I /was/ one- and things got heated. Literally. I snapped, and everything went dark. When I woke up, the house was up in flames, my dad had 4 clean claws marks through his chest. I realized quickly that I was the one to put them there. I did /all of this/. it was... exhilarating.

That sounds both terrific and horribly frightening. It can sometimes be exciting when you first get your powers, especially using them. I hope that your father was alright and that the fire wasn't too bad. It's not fun to lose everything you had like that.
