I will get around to doing tag drops and the like for muses as I have muse for them. At the moment, Vi is doing my head in, so she’s front and center.
I’m not sure how I’m doing bio cards, IF I’m doing bio cards. So those will come in time. I’m also playing with the idea of banners like above (might make it thinner idk).
With that said, I’m gonna reblog some memes, post a starter or two, and let’s fucking go!

Me: working on stuff for the new blog
Laptop: turns off
Me @ me: "This is why you wanted to wait until you were on your PC, dumbass."
Me: sighs
Also, to everyone who has already followed me over there, thanks, and I'm sorry about the mess that will be your dash from me until things are finished.

Officially Archived
This blog is officially archived. Going forward I will be found over at @darkmasterkattsvault it’s not quite set up yet, and probably won’t be for about a week or so, but that is where I’ll be found. I’ll be following people from there over the next few days. Some of you may already follow that blog due to the “I thought I lost this blog” panic a while back.
I will be here for OOC interactions for the next little bit, until that blog is fully set up if you have any questions about threads you wish to continue and the like.

I’m thinking of archiving this blog and starting over.
Details under the cut, because long and rambling.
As much as I love what I’ve built here, I feel as though the blog has stagnated to a point I can’t recover from. What I started this blog with and what it’s become now are two very different things and that’s not necessarily a bad thing but I do feel as though I’ve backed myself into a corner.
I started this blog primarily to write with friends and often found that reaching out didn’t always get me anywhere, which led to a lot of me not reaching out, which has left this blog full of inactive blogs that I follow and people who don’t interact with me at all, despite following me. I acknowledge some of that is on me, re my previous statements about struggling to reach out, but it’s kind of disheartening.
It sometimes feels as though the people I consistently write with choose others over me. I do not actually believe this to be true, but it is a feeling I experience because of the way things sometimes go. I understand that sometimes a player gets focused on certain ships, dynamics, or muses, that’s fine I do it too, but it does often feel like I’m never that person and that in that replies to me get dropped or ignored. And I’m personally too afraid of confrontation going poorly to actually reach out to see if that’s actually case or they’ve simply just been missed. Which I acknowledge is a me problem and something I need to work on.
I also feel as though I send memes but do not get them in return or that I’m always the person starting interactions. Again, something I know not to be true, but do often feel.
Of the few people I do write with, a good chunk are smut-inclined and unfortunately I’ve reached a point where I’m once again sex-repulsed and have no desire to write smut of any kind, with anyone. The muses are horny but the mun can’t handle it, which leaves me feeling like I’m letting those players down or forcing them to write things they don’t want to write.
I also have a lot of muses I need to purge. This blog started with many muses who were remnants from group rps or 1x1s. That list has continued to grow even as my inspiration and desire to write as those muses has faltered. I think I’ve, in many ways, simply overwhelmed myself with the number of muses and been too nostalgic to let go of them.
I’d definitely be cutting back on the muses I write, but also want to add non-OCs and non-Glee characters. I want to dive into the realm of canons more, try and challenge myself, in a sense, to be more forward about who I write and how I write them. Find ways to reach out to people.
I also want to have a more cohesive theme and set up. Graphics that work together and make for easy promo-ing, which I admittedly have never really done on this blog and perhaps should have.
With all that said, if people followed me over to the new blog, I’d happily continue threads from this one if I’m keeping that muse. And I won’t be leaving this one until everything for that one is completely set up, but I also can’t guarantee that I’ll be active here in the meantime, whether I’m setting up the new blog or not.
I guess I’m at the impasse of, do I start over or leave completely?

PSA regarding tumblr’s latest Censorship Nightmare
For those of you who haven’t seen this announcement, tumblr recently made some changes to the iOS version of the app, purportedly to comply with Apple’s content guidelines. These changes took effect on Dec 21, starting in version 22.5.1 of the iOS app. As some of you may recall, Apple’s strict guidelines were the driving force for the infamous Great Purge of 2018, which coincidentally also happened around this time of year, but it seems banning all of the female-presenting nipples wasn’t good enough for Apple.
Below is a summary of the important changes. Note that these changes technically ONLY affect those using the iOS app. If you’re accessing tumblr through a different app or operating system (Google Chrome, Android app, etc) it won’t affect you directly but it will affect your followers who use iOS so you should definitely be aware of it.
The list of banned tags has been expanded. As before, there’s no way to know which words or phrases have been banned until you try searching for them, in which case you’ll either get no search results or the following message: “This content has been hidden because of potentially suggestive or explicit content.” You may think this doesn’t concern you if you don’t post explicit material, but do not make the mistake of expecting the banned tags to be logical or reasonable. I’ve already encountered multiple completely innocuous posts (random fandom gifsets) that seem to be hidden on iOS for no discernible reason.
Blogs that have been flagged as explicit can no longer be viewed. Previously, flagged blogs just had their posts hidden from searches, but if you knew the username you could still visit it after clicking through a warning about sensitive content. Now you can’t access it at all.
Likes and reblogs from blogs that have been flagged will no longer show up in your notes. This one won’t affect most people’s user experience as much as the others, but it does mean you may be missing notes. It’s unclear if likes and reblogs from flagged blogs will still count towards the overall note total (and only be missing from the activity feed and note viewer) but I suspect that’s the case.
THE BIG ONE: ANY POST TAGGED WITH A BANNED TAG WILL NO LONGER SHOW UP ON YOUR DASHBOARD. Previously, if you tagged a post with a banned word or phrase (even if the words were used inside another tag), that post would not show up in searches, but your followers would still be able to see it on their dashboard. Now those posts are hidden from your own followers as well. This includes both original posts and reblogs. And if that wasn’t bad enough, here’s the real kicker: even if you don’t tag something with one of the banned words, if the OP used a banned tag, any reblogs of that post will not show up on anyone’s dashboard (on the iOS app). The only saving grace here, and I hate to even call it that, is that the blocked posts are still visible if you visit a blog directly or if you have post notifications turned on.
As usual, tumblr was extremely unclear and evasive about all of this in their official announcement. Not surprising, of course, since if more people were aware of these new draconian tactics I can’t imagine there wouldn’t be more of an uproar about it. Tumblr claims that these changes are somewhat temporary and that they are currently working on something that will allow for a less restricted iOS experience, but they refuse to say what that something is and when it will be implemented. And let’s just say, considering their track record, I’m not hopeful.
All of this is horrible and infuriating for many reasons, but the worst part is how insanely counterproductive it is to creating the “safe” environment tumblr (or more specifically Apple) supposedly wants.
Tags have always been used for both blog organization and filtering purposes. Tagging posts with triggers and content warnings is a common practice that gives users the ability to filter out content they may find upsetting or just don’t don’t want to see for whatever reason. By choosing to ban a bunch of unlisted “sensitive content” tags, all they’re doing is encouraging people who want to share that kind of content to come up with alternative less well-known tags or simply not tag that content at all anymore if they want it to show up on their follower’s dashboards, thereby making it more likely for someone to encounter it when they didn’t want to.
So really, with all of the alleged concern for safety and “protecting the children,” all they’ve done is make tumblr less safe for everyone. Typical.

Jake grinned a little, knocking on Joss's door. The speedster had spent as much time secreting away a drawing he made of them, wanting to present it to Joss when the time was right. He knocked a little louder, his voice as loud as it was before he was theirs. "Joss! Do they have Christmas on Krypton? Does that mean Jesus is Kryptonian? Or is like a multiverse situation?" His questions came out faster and faster, blurring together as he waited for the alien to answer.
Joss had given Jake a bit more freedom after their birthday, just to see what would happen. Granted, with his powers typically prohibited, it wasn’t like he could necessarily go too far without having to either steal Joss’ car or walk the whole way. But he was free to move about their compound and he could technically leave if he so chose to.
The knock on their door had the Kryptonian waking from their slumber, groaning at the prospect. They might have ignored him if he hadn’t started yelling through their door about Christmas. Was it Christmas? They weren’t really sure, they didn’t tend to keep up with Earth holidays, all they knew was that they had off, but that didn’t always mean anything. Sometimes their boss just closed the shop for a few days if things were particularly slow, or things had just finished being super busy.
Floating over to the door, they pressed the button to unlock and open the door, rubbing their eyes. “It’s more akin to the Jewish Hanukkah, but even that isn’t entirely accurate. So, no, we didn’t have Christmas on Krypton and even if we did, I was a street rat who barely knew what day of the week it was, much less if there was holiday going on. Why?”

Alex looked at Teagan, her eyes warm with delight. She loved a good debate, and this one was right up her alley. “I just think it’s weird with the double standards between adults giving kids candy in a white van, versus the approach of kids getting presents in a house that is supposed to be safe for them.” Settled in on the couch now, Alex continued: “The reality of Santa and giving gifts to kids, don’t get me wrong, I love it. Not ever gonna complain for fear of kids everywhere hating me.” she joked, her eyes sparkling mischievously. “But it just doesn’t sit right, the double standard!”
Teagan was, at her core, a woman of science. Of fact and of logic. But when faced with the fact she’d had multiple conversations with an actual goddess, she’d learned that sometimes things just didn’t make logical sense. “But in the same sense, if some random grabs you off the street, you’re going to kick and scream and try to get away, but if it’s Superman or Supergirl or someone whose intentions you can reasonably determine are good, you’re not going to. It’s the intentions of the person that determine how we react. Same goes for Santa. Man whose purpose in life is to give gifts and spread joy comes into your home once a year to do just that in exchange for an optional offering of cookies and milk, sure why not? He doesn’t break anything, he doesn’t steal, he comes, leaves gifts, and leaves. There’s no ill intent. Man in a van offering kids candy, ill intent is kinda written everywhere.” Teagan pointed out. “Besides, I like the mental image that, if Santa exists, Lex Luthor gets a lump of coal every year.”

DC Verse Teagan Headcanons
She’s a metahuman whose metagene was triggered as a child due to circumstances she refuses to speak on.
Much like in her main verse, Teagan is an ER doctor and has no desire to use her powers to fight evil and the like.
Unlike her main verse, she has teamed up with various heroes in times of great crisis, but does her best not to get involved.

starter from: Alex Danvers (Supergirl)
“Do you ever stop and think why we’re allowing our children believe in Santa Claus? I mean, come on. Some guy comes in and gives your kid presents once a year and it’s okay but any more often than that — it’s considered kidnapping and frankly I’m appalled with parents these days for letting it go on. It’s only a matter of time though — what with the way they canned Baby It’s Cold Outside.” Alex greeted the other person with a Kara-length rant.
“I mean, I don’t have kids, but we live in a world where aliens and people with super powers exist. Is it really all that much of stretch to say Santa actually exists? Sure, it’s weird, especially with what he does, but is it really weirder than supervillains who tell riddles or people who survive falling into vats of chemicals?” Teagan asked with a raise of her eyebrow.
