It’s been nearly thirty years and I’ve read thousands of comics since, but Excalibur remains, always, the very best of them all. These are not characters to me, they are dear friends.

BARON BLOOD!!! What;s worse than Nazis? Or Vampires? How about Nazi Vampires? While on a trip to Transylvania, English aristocrat John Falsworth is turned into a vampire by Dracula himself. He is then commanded to to return to England create trouble for Dracula’s enemy Jonathan Harker. Falsworth calls himself Baron Blood and sides with the Germans during WWI. Years later, to hide his Vampire induced immortality, he poses as John Falsworth II and is allied with the Third Reich during WWII. He battles Captain America and the Invaders and afterwards is believed to have been destroyed only to return years later. This time, Captain America takes no chances and slices Baron Blood’s head clean off with his shield.

Likewise. Miss this pairing so much.
Just a dumb little something I wrote/drew. Though I realize that Pryde and Wisdom haven’t been a thing in, like, 20 years- I will probably ship them until I die.
