I can't help but wonder if Margaret Pole was one of the last people to remember what Richard III and Anne Neville were actually like.
In some ways perhaps her execution was an end of an era.

When I first started seeing comments on my fanfic: Wow! This is such an honor!
Now: Another scam artist?
What is going on: fanfic writers are getting "messages" from self-claimed "artist" for commission work on FF.net. Beta readers and fanfic writers NEVER charge a fee for their works. Thankfully this doesn't happen on AO3 - I did get an invite for writing competition, but that's free participation.
