Sigil or sigilla (from Latin sigillum, "seal") is a symbol (or combination of several specific symbols or geometric figures) possessing magical power. Sigils were widely used by magicians, alchemists and other "medieval scholars" to summon and control a spirit or demon. Thus, the sigil, along with the name and the summoning formula, played an important role in the grimoire. The most famous sigils are presented in medieval magical and alchemical books (mainly on demonology): "The Lesser Key of King Solomon", "The Seals of the 6th and 7th Books of Moses", "Sigils of Black and White Magic" and others. The most famous sigil is the pentagram. Sigils were also used as emblems of various communities.

I was so carried away by advanced topics of gay Satanism that I forgot to make a basic SatanArt album with simple symbols of Satanism. Of course, advanced Satanists and magicians know all these symbols, but for many, the meaning of these symbols is not clear. Therefore, in the SatanArt album Nr.21 I provide the most important and interesting symbols of all Satanism and Gay Satanism in particular. I tried to give the most understandable, laconic descriptions and explanations of the symbols of Satanism in my album. I hope this SatanArt album will be useful for newcomers to Satanism, Wiccan witches and all interested people who want to study and understand the basic signs of Satanism.

I want to comment on which symbols are considered Satanic. You can consider any symbols to be Satanic symbols. Absolutely any. There are canonical and well-known symbols. They can also be changed and modified as you wish. There are no prohibitions.

I want to comment on the fact that someone considers symbols not Satanic or related to another subculture. You can think so. Satanists do not care that someone calls their symbols differently or attaches a different meaning to the symbols of Satanism. Satanists do not care about the saints of the church, the Freemasons or any other communities in terms of the similarity of symbols. You can consider the Sigil of Baphomet your personal New Year's star, a sign of your birthday or a symbol of a musical ensemble😊. Antichrist is not at all against such freethinking. I hope that our Teacher Satan approves of it too. Satan is the spirit of freedom and creativity. Everyone who has the fire of Satan in them loves special Satanic art.
