she is a silent creature by nature. footfalls tend not to rouse those in slumber nor relaxation, making it rather simple to startle such unsuspecting prey. only a rare few are able to catch wind of her presence before being captured in their line of sight. the handful, naturally, had not been limited to her own teammates. though she was able to get a rise from them. the occasions, self-indulgent as they may have been, were slim... yet never zero.

blake does not say a single word. she greets her leader with but a soft tap upon her shoulder, quickly bringing a finger upon her own lips as a silent plea. ‘ don’t make a sound ’ it whispers. and before ruby could utter anything in protest, (which blake had been prepared for), the faunus preemptively answers. it is but a single nod towards the doorway leading out of their room.
