the unfortunate thing is that mai and ty lee's fighting styles just do not lend themselves to homoerotic sparring matches. they fight with precision and distance. mai favors long range weapons while ty lee rarely makes physical contact with her opponents. and once she does, the match is usually over.

the fun part is that this would not stop them
