Chapter 14: The storm and the flame
The Heart of the End throbbed like a living sun.
It pulsed with ancient energy, nestled in the core of a floating obsidian island. The group stood at the ready, staring up at it — a massive crystalline sphere suspended by nothing, rotating slowly and humming with a song only you could truly understand.
“This is it,” you said. “If they reach it, the piglins can merge the realms. They’ll turn the world into a molten wasteland of fire and gold.”
Garret tightened his grip on his sword. “Then we don’t let them.”
As if summoned by fate, the sky cracked.
Portals opened across the horizon. Nether fire tore through the End’s atmosphere as wave after wave of piglins emerged — riding hoglins, wielding enchanted axes, wearing stolen gold. It was an army unlike anything the group had faced.
The final battle had begun.
Steve barked orders. Dawn and Natalie manned the high ground. Garret built defenses as fast as he could. You stood in front of the Heart, your wolf beside you, sword drawn, eyes burning.
And Henry… stayed close.
The battle raged like a storm of fire and black stone. Screams echoed. Explosions shattered the air. You teleported in flashes, striking with unnatural speed — a blur of diamond and light. But it wasn’t enough.
There were too many.
In the chaos, a brute piglin charged Henry from behind. You turned, instincts flaring — but you were too far, too late.
“No!” you shouted, voice distorted by raw power.
Then the world slowed.
You teleported.
Not through logic. Not through distance. But through instinct — deeper than thought, older than time.
You appeared between Henry and the brute as the axe fell.
The blow landed squarely on your back.
You dropped to your knees.
Henry caught you before you hit the ground, eyes wide, horrified. “No—no no no—!”
Your body shuddered, glowing cracks spreading along your arms and neck. Your eyes snapped open, and this time, they weren’t just glowing — they were pure purple flame, pulsing with the force of every Ender guardian that came before you.
The ground beneath you shook.
You rose — floating, no longer walking. The Heart of the End reacted to your presence, sending waves of light across the battlefield. Piglins stopped. Looked. Hesitated.
You raised your sword — and unleashed your full power.
In a wave of shimmering force, the sky screamed. Piglins were flung back by invisible blasts. The ground erupted with obsidian pillars. Your wolf howled as the light pulsed again, overwhelming, unstoppable.
When it ended… silence fell.
The remaining piglins retreated, limping through broken portals, vanishing back into the Nether.
The battle was won.
But you were on your knees again, body flickering between forms — human, Enderman, light, shadow.
Henry dropped beside you. “Stay with me. Hey—come on—look at me.”
You blinked at him, barely able to hold your shape. “I told you… I was meant to protect you.”
“And you did,” he said. “But I’m not letting you disappear.”
He held you close, and your glow began to fade — not vanish, but settle. Into something new.
Something balanced.
Something… human.

chapter 13: Echos of who I was
The Heart of the End pulsed like a living thing, deep beneath the temple. The walls were covered in obsidian veins, the air thick with energy — ancient, aware, and watching.
The group set up camp just outside the chamber’s threshold. They knew something waited beyond, but the journey had taken its toll. They needed rest.
Henry found you sitting alone again, away from the others, perched on the edge of a floating ledge, staring into the endless void. Your wolf lay beside you, unmoving, quiet — sensing your unrest.
He hesitated a moment before walking over. “You okay?”
You didn’t turn around. “Funny question for someone like me.”
“You’re still someone,” Henry said. He sat down beside you, careful not to get too close, but close enough to share the silence. “We never really asked… who you used to be. Before all of this.”
Your hands tightened slightly in your lap.
“I was human,” you said. “A long time ago. Before this form, before the glowing eyes. Before the void started whispering.”
Henry stayed quiet. Listening.
“I lived in the Overworld. I had a family. Friends. I laughed. I got scared of spiders. I was just a kid.”
“So what happened?” he asked gently.
You looked up at the stars that weren’t stars — the swirling particles of Ender energy — and your voice grew quieter. “I was chosen. Not asked. Chosen. There was a threat, centuries ago. Something worse than piglins. And the End needed a guardian. A protector to ensure the prophecy would survive to this time.”
“They took you?” Henry asked.
“I agreed,” you said. “Because it meant saving lives. But I didn’t know it meant losing mine.”
He looked at you then, really looked — and for a second, your glowing eyes dimmed, and all he could see was the sorrow of someone who never got to grow up the way they should’ve.
“You don’t talk about this with the others,” he said.
“I don’t talk about it at all,” you replied. “But you asked.”
Silence stretched between you, heavy with things unspoken. Until Henry finally said:
“You may not look it anymore, but I think… the human part of you never really left.”
You glanced at him. “What makes you say that?”
“Because I see it,” he said. “Every time you protect someone without being asked. Every time you smile at dumb jokes. Every time you get quiet when someone gets hurt.”
Then, a little softer, he added, “Every time you look at me.”
Your eyes flickered — surprised, but not scared.
“I should go,” you whispered, starting to stand.
But Henry gently touched your hand. “You don’t have to.”
And for a moment, the void felt just a little less cold.

Chapter 12: The ender light
The End was… silent.
No wind. No sky. Just an infinite stretch of floating obsidian islands suspended in nothing, bathed in the dim purple glow of the void. The group stood on a single platform, staring into the expanse of stars and shadows. The portal behind them flickered, still open — a sliver of their collapsing world.
No one spoke.
Even the bravest among them — Steve, who’d seen things no one else had — felt small here.
You stood at the edge of the platform, staring out. This place felt like a second heartbeat. A memory that never left.
You were home.
Garret broke the silence. “So what now? We’re here. But why?”
You turned slowly, the faint glow in your eyes returning.
“There’s something I have to show you,” you said. “Something I’ve hidden long enough.”
The others followed without question. They walked across the void, bridging the gap between floating islands with blocks and instincts, careful to avoid the roaming Endermen who eyed them with suspicion.
But none came near you.
They recognized you.
Finally, you stopped at an ancient End temple — a place no human had ever set foot in. Blackstone pillars towered overhead, carved with glowing glyphs in a language only you could read. At the center was an altar, cracked and worn, but still pulsing faintly with Ender energy.
You stepped forward and touched it.
The glyphs flared to life, bathing the room in light.
And then… your form shifted.
Not completely — you were still human-shaped. Still you. But your skin shimmered with shadow. Your eyes became twin stars of violet light. And for the first time, they saw what you truly were.
Natalie gasped. Henry stumbled back, eyes wide. “You’re… an Enderman?”
“A special one,” you said, your voice now layered — both yours and something deeper, ancient. “I wasn’t born like this. I was made. Long ago.”
“What are you talking about?” Steve asked, hand on his sword, tense.
You turned to face them all.
“I am part of the ancient line — the First Endermen, the guardians of balance. When the three realms were created, so were we. And when a prophecy was made about a child who would one day tip the balance of the worlds… they sent me.”
Everyone went quiet. The energy in the room pulsed, syncing with your voice.
“The prophecy spoke of a time when the Nether would rise. When an army of gold and fire would try to merge the worlds. And one soul, a pure one, would be at the heart of it. Not a destroyer… but a catalyst.”
You looked straight at Henry.
“It was always you.”
Henry’s mouth opened, but no words came.
“I didn’t know it at first,” you said softly. “I only knew I had to protect someone. The one who could either bring ruin or salvation, depending on the choices they made. And now… you’ve made yours.”
Dawn blinked, stunned. “All this time… you’ve been protecting him.”
“And I almost failed,” you said, voice heavy. “Back in the stronghold — if I hadn’t stepped in, the prophecy would’ve ended. All three realms would’ve fallen.”
Garret rubbed the back of his neck, trying to process. “Okay, so what now? Do we just… stay here?”
“No,” you said, turning to the back wall of the temple. Another door, hidden until now, slid open. Beyond it — a glowing chamber with a staircase made of chorus crystal and obsidian.
“At the top,” you said, “is the Heart of the End. It’s where I was created. And it’s what the piglins are after.”
Steve narrowed his eyes. “So if they get here—”
“They won’t,” you cut in. “Because we’re going to stop them. Right here. In the End. Where this all began.”
Henry stepped beside you. “And I’m ready.”
You looked at him, the glow in your eyes softening just a little. “I know you are.”
Together, you started up the stairs.
The war wasn’t over — but the truth was out. You were never just another survivor. You were the weapon the End had hidden for centuries. And now that weapon had chosen a side.

Chapter 11: Into the void
The world was crumbling.
The portal had opened — not just a door, but a tear in reality itself. The swirling abyss of the End spilled out like a storm, consuming the stone around it. Piglins screamed as the void pulled them in. Stone twisted into impossible shapes, and shadows danced like they were alive.
“GO!” Steve shouted, pointing toward the portal. “We don’t have a choice anymore!”
Everyone ran — Garret, Natalie, Dawn — dodging falling stone, leaping over cracks that led to bottomless darkness. You stayed near the back, your wolf at your side, eyes scanning for danger.
That’s when you saw it happen.
Henry was behind the others, trying to help a wounded piglin that had been left behind. He shouldn’t have — it didn’t deserve it. But that was just who Henry was.
The ground gave out beneath him.
“Henry!” Natalie screamed.
He slipped. His hand clawed at the edge of the stone, barely catching hold. Below him… nothing. The void pulsed hungrily, whispering, reaching.
You didn’t think.
You teleported.
One blink, and you were at the edge, sliding on your knees as you reached for him. Your hand caught his wrist just in time — but the weight of him pulled you forward too. For a second, it looked like you’d both fall.
Then something changed.
Your eyes burst into full purple light, glowing like Ender pearls set aflame. The shadows around you bent away. The void recoiled.
Henry stared up at you, eyes wide. “What… what’s happening to you?”
You gritted your teeth. “Don’t let go.”
From somewhere deep inside, a power surged — ancient, wild, not fully human. Your feet found impossible grip. The void tried to pull, but it couldn’t touch you. Not now.
With one final shout, you hauled Henry up and threw him onto solid ground.
You collapsed beside him, your hands shaking. Your eyes still glowing.
Everyone else had stopped and turned, staring at you in stunned silence.
Even the void paused.
Natalie ran to her brother, helping him up. He looked at you like he’d never seen you before. “You… you saved me.”
You nodded, breathing hard. “Don’t make a habit of that.”
Garret looked around, his voice low. “Did anyone else see their eyes?”
“They were glowing,” Dawn whispered. “Like... like an Enderman.”
Steve stepped toward you. “You’ve been hiding something.”
You stood slowly, wiping your palms on your pants. The glow began to fade from your eyes — not all the way, but just enough.
“I told you. I know how I got here. I didn’t fall through the portal by accident.” You turned to the swirling End gateway. “I was sent here.”
The wind howled through the collapsing chamber, and chunks of the ceiling began to fall.
“We need to go!” Natalie shouted.
You gave one last look at the world behind you — the broken stronghold, the shattered piglins, the fading Overworld light — and then stepped toward the portal.
With your wolf at your side, and the others just behind you, you leapt into the void.

Chapter 10: The battle for the end
The tremor beneath their feet grew stronger, the stone beneath them cracking as the walls of the stronghold groaned in protest. Dust rained from the ceiling, and the faint sound of distant war cries reached their ears.
The piglins were closing in.
Steve stepped forward, gripping his sword tightly. “We need to hold them off long enough to activate the portal.”
But you didn’t move. You stood at the edge of the swirling abyss, eyes narrowed, as if listening to something no one else could hear.
“The portal’s not ready,” you said, voice low. “It’s unstable.”
Henry’s eyes flickered nervously from the portal to the approaching piglins. “We don’t have time to wait for it to be perfect.”
“Exactly,” you replied. “We can’t rely on it to save us. If they force their way through—”
“They’ll destroy everything,” Dawn finished, a look of understanding dawning on her face.
The first of the piglins charged into the room, axes raised high, followed by a wave of their comrades — armored and ready for blood.
Steve yelled, “Get ready!”
The battle began.
Arrows rained down from Dawn’s bow as Garret and Henry held the front line. You and your wolf moved like shadows, darting through the chaos, cutting down piglin after piglin with deadly precision. Every swing of your diamond sword sent sparks flying, cutting through gold and obsidian armor like it was paper.
Natalie stayed near the portal, eyes darting back and forth, trying to make sense of the chaos. She didn’t want to leave, but it was becoming clear: there was no way they could win this battle by sheer force.
“We need to buy time,” Natalie called out. “We need something to hold them back!”
Steve took a deep breath. “We can’t hold this forever. We’re not prepared for an all-out war.”
You flashed back into view, cutting down another piglin and spinning to face the group. “We don’t need to win,” you said. “We just need to slow them down long enough.”
“But how?” Henry shouted.
You pointed to the walls. “The stronghold wasn’t just built to protect the portal. It was built to trap. If we collapse the walls — destroy the supports we can block them off.”
Dawn nodded, already moving to plant a few blocks of TNT at key points in the crumbling stone. “Let’s do it.”
Henry and Garret kept the piglins distracted, moving with precision, taking out any that tried to flank the others. But even with all their skill, the piglin numbers were overwhelming.
It was chaos. It was war.
You blinked around the battlefield, slicing through enemies with your diamond sword, sending them flying with every strike. Your wolf was a blur of teeth and fur, tearing through the enemy lines.
The explosions rang out one by one. The walls of the stronghold cracked, and huge sections of stone collapsed, burying the piglins under tons of rubble. But it wasn’t enough.
More were coming.
The War Chief — Rokgar — charged into the fray, towering over the smaller piglins, a massive war axe in his hands. His eyes locked onto the group.
“There he is,” Steve muttered under his breath. “That’s him.”
You saw the War Chief and immediately turned toward him. “He’s the key,” you said, voice tinged with recognition.
“Key? What do you mean?” Henry asked, breathless.
“Rokgar,” you said, eyes glowing faintly again. “He was never just a leader. He’s part of this world’s distortion. He’s trying to merge the realms.”
Natalie’s face hardened. “Then let’s stop him.”
Without another word, the group surged forward. Steve and Garret distracted the War Chief as best they could, while you and Henry took on the surrounding piglins. Dawn and Natalie flanked, providing cover fire, holding the others back.
But Rokgar was a force unlike any they had faced before. Each swing of his axe sent shockwaves through the ground. His laughter echoed in the chamber, a deep, booming sound that rattled their bones.
“You think you can stop me?” Rokgar bellowed, his tusks glinting in the dim light. “You are nothing compared to what’s coming.”
You moved in the blink of an eye, dodging his massive swings with ease. Your sword collided with his axe, sending a shockwave through the air.
“You’re not merging anything,” you said, voice cold. “Not while I’m here.”
But Rokgar’s grin widened. “You think you can defeat me, little one? You were never meant to stop this.”
The walls of the stronghold trembled again. The ground beneath them began to split open, a crack forming right through the center of the room, directly beneath the portal.
Then, just as Rokgar raised his axe for a final blow, a blinding flash of light illuminated the chamber.
The portal activated.
For a brief moment, the room was flooded with a bright, purple light — pulsing, beating like a heart. The air hummed with power. The piglins recoiled, shielding their eyes. But then… the ground began to shake even harder.
The End was calling.
“You’ve done it now,” you whispered, stepping back from Rokgar. “The realms are already bending.”
Rokgar’s triumphant smile faded.
The ground cracked open, the darkness of the End spilling out into the stronghold. Shadowy tendrils reached up from the void, warping the walls, pulling them into the abyss.
It was too late to stop it.
But it wasn’t too late to escape.

Chapter 9: The eye and the end
The silence in the stronghold was more oppressive now. The air seemed to thrum with something unseen, a presence that pulled at the edges of their minds. There were no more piglins — for now — but the echoes of their clash still hung in the halls, vibrating against the cold stone.
The group was gathered around a stone table, one of the few flat surfaces in the labyrinthine ruin. They’d set up makeshift beds and begun to regroup. There was an uneasy tension in the air, as if the stronghold itself was watching them.
“Something’s off,” Dawn muttered, glancing at you.
You were sitting apart from them, the glow in your eyes long gone, but there was something more distant in the way you moved. Like you were connected to the stone itself.
“What do you mean?” Garret asked, glancing around.
“Feels like this place is… waiting for us,” she said. “Like it wants us here.”
“You’re not wrong,” you replied quietly. “The stronghold wasn’t built just to house the portal. It was built to protect it. Keep it from… escaping.”
“Escaping?” Henry asked. “What does that mean?”
The shadows shifted. Even in the dim light of their torches, the edges of the stronghold’s stone walls seemed to flicker. You stood, walking over to the far side of the room where a set of ancient markings covered the wall. You traced the symbols with your fingers.
“I told you… this world and the Nether aren’t the only places. There are places between.” You stopped at one of the markings. “This symbol. This one is the key.”
Steve stepped forward, his expression serious. “What do you mean by ‘key’?”
You stepped back, glancing at him, then at the others. “The key isn’t just about opening portals. It’s about opening the End.”
“The End?” Natalie said, her voice barely a whisper. “But that’s…”
“...what the piglins are after,” you finished. “That’s why they’re here. They want to merge all the worlds — Nether, Overworld, and End. If they succeed, everything will collapse into the void.”
“But how?” Henry asked, shaking his head. “How can they even get to the End? The portal’s hidden.”
“It was hidden,” you corrected, “but not anymore. There are multiple portals. This one,” you tapped the stone wall, “leads to a place older than the Nether. A place the piglins can’t touch. Not unless they have what they need.”
“What do they need?” Garret asked.
You didn’t answer. Instead, you pulled out a glowing Eye of Ender from your bag, the one with the fractured, purple glow. You held it up in the dim light.
“This is the last one,” you said. “The only one that can open the way.”
“Wait… you had that this whole time?” Steve asked, his voice tight with suspicion.
“I’ve been to the End before,” you said flatly. “Once. A long time ago.”
The group went silent. The gravity of your words weighed heavy, settling over them like a storm cloud.
“Okay,” Henry said, breaking the silence. “So what do we do now?”
You turned to face him, your eyes flickering once more with that faint purple hue. “We get to the portal. Fast.”
Without another word, you walked toward the center of the room, your wolf at your heels, and everyone followed in silence.
As you moved deeper into the stronghold, the walls began to shift. The very stone seemed to breathe as if it were alive. There were no more paths to take, only doorways that opened in front of you, guiding your way.
“Where are we going?” Dawn asked, eyes wide as they navigated the now twisting labyrinth.
“The center,” you answered. “Where the End is closest.”
The deeper they went, the more oppressive the air became. It grew colder. The walls seemed to pulse with an ancient energy. And the further they descended, the more they could hear it — a faint hum. A vibration that rattled their teeth.
Then they reached the chamber.
At first, all they saw was black. An infinite void, stretching out in all directions.
Then, the Eye of Ender glowed. And the portal appeared.
A dark, swirling abyss hovered in the center of the room, its edges glowing faintly with the same purple light that flickered in your eyes. The portal was different from the ones they had seen before. It was unfinished, its shape incomplete. And it pulsed with a strange energy, almost as if it were alive.
The air crackled with tension.
“That’s it,” Steve said, stepping forward. “The portal.”
You didn’t respond right away, staring at the swirling mass in front of you.
“Something’s wrong,” you whispered.
Before anyone could react, the ground trembled beneath their feet.
The piglins had found them.
The moment they saw the golden army emerge from the shadows, they knew they were out of time.

Chapter 8: The hunt for the stronghold
They left the base before dawn.
Not because they wanted to — because they had to.
The piglin army was growing. Every hour wasted was another village lost, another portal corrupted, another step closer to the collapse of the world they knew.
Steve led the way through the forest, eyes always scanning the trees. You walked behind him, silent as ever, your wolf at your side. Henry, Natalie, Dawn, and Garret stuck close together, though each of them had changed since that first day — since the portal.
They weren’t just scared kids anymore.
They were survivors.
They were fighters.
And they had a mission.
“Strongholds generate deep underground,” Steve explained as they moved. “Usually under villages. But this one… it’s not showing up on the maps.”
“That’s because it’s older than the maps,” you said. “Built before the overworld even stabilized.”
Natalie squinted at you. “How do you know all this?”
You gave a small shrug. “I read the right books. Fought the wrong mobs.”
You didn’t say it, but something in your voice hinted at more. Like maybe you’d seen a stronghold before. Maybe even been inside one.
They passed through a half-destroyed village that afternoon — nothing but ash, gold scraps, and trampled crops. A lone iron golem stood at the center, rusted and cracked, holding the body of a fallen villager in its massive arms.
It didn’t move when they approached.
It just stood there. Mourning.
Dawn turned away. “We’re running out of time.”
You knelt beside the well and reached into your pack. Pulled out a small, jagged object — a broken eye of ender, but unlike any the others had seen. This one shimmered faintly with both green and purple light.
“What’s that?” Henry asked.
You didn’t answer. Just dropped it into the well.
It vanished into the dark.
Then a pulse shot upward from the water — not bright, but deep, like the world itself had shivered.
“The path’s beneath us,” you said.
Steve’s eyebrows raised. “We dig here?”
“No,” you said. “We drop.”
And with that, you stepped up onto the edge of the well—and jumped in.
“Seriously?!” Garret shouted. “They’re insane!”
But then your voice echoed up from below. “Water at the bottom. You’ll be fine.”
One by one, the others followed.
What they found underground was more than tunnels. More than caves.
They found a forgotten part of the world.
Moss-covered ruins. Broken obsidian arches. Walls of carved stone etched with symbols none of them recognized. The further they walked, the darker it became—not because of the lack of light, but because the light itself seemed afraid to shine here.
Then they reached it.
The outer wall of the stronghold.
You were already at the door, running your hand along the symbols.
“There’s no key,” Natalie said.
“There is,” you replied. “You just can’t see it.”
Your eyes glowed again — that faint Enderman purple — and with a low rumble, the wall split open.
Beyond it was a massive hallway leading into the earth. Pillars stretched toward a ceiling no one could see. There were whispers in the air, faint and echoing.
Something ancient was sleeping here.
“End stone,” Steve whispered, brushing his hand along the wall. “This shouldn’t be here. Not unless—”
“Unless the End was already bleeding through,” you finished.
And then your wolf let out a low growl.
Not at you.
At the shadows behind them.
Piglins.
A small scouting party — but they’d followed. They’d seen the pulse from the well, and now they were here.
The group turned just as the first golden axe flew through the air.
You caught it with your sword — a loud clang echoing down the corridor — and the fight began.
Henry and Dawn moved like clockwork, protecting each other. Natalie fired from the back, picking off piglins one by one. Garret held the front with Steve, while your wolf lunged into the chaos, fearless and fast.
You were everywhere at once.
Blinking. Slashing. Reappearing across the battlefield like a living glitch.
And then… it was over.
Bodies on the floor. Blood. Gold. Silence.
Everyone was breathing hard.
“They know we’re close,” you said.
Steve looked at the ancient hallway. “Then we go now.”
“No,” you said. “We rest. Heal. Once we enter… there’s no turning back.”

Chapter 7: Secrets in the shadows
The fire crackled in the center of the base, but no one felt warm.
Not tonight.
Not after what they saw.
Natalie sat sharpening her sword in silence. Dawn stood near the window, watching the forest as if something might emerge from it at any moment. Garret was pacing. Steve crouched near the map they had sketched on the floor with charcoal and dirt, circling points of interest—villages, mountains, Nether portals—while Henry sat off to the side, staring at you.
You were on the roof again, legs dangling over the edge, wolf curled up beside you, both of you still and quiet.
Finally, Henry spoke.
“Why do they want the gold?”
Everyone looked up. Even you didn’t answer right away.
Then you said, “Piglins aren’t just greedy. Gold protects them. It’s sacred to them. But it’s also… a key.”
“A key?” Natalie asked. “To what?”
“To what’s coming.”
That sent a chill through the room.
Steve looked up. “What is coming?”
You looked down at him, your expression unreadable. “They want to merge this world with theirs. No boundaries. No walls. No portals needed.”
Garret frowned. “That’s not how Minecraft works.”
You gave a small, humorless smile. “This isn’t Minecraft anymore.”
The silence thickened.
That’s when Henry asked the question everyone had been avoiding.
“Who are you really?”
You didn’t blink. “Someone who knows more than I should.”
“That's not an answer.”
“No,” you said softly. “But it's the best one I can give.”
Dawn turned toward you, crossing her arms. “Then answer this: how do you teleport like that? No pearls, no commands. It’s like you’re... glitching.”
You didn’t respond immediately. The fire popped. Sparks floated up into the night sky like lost stars.
“I’m not like you,” you finally said. “Not fully. I came through before you. But I didn’t come from the same place.”
Steve looked up sharply. “You’re not from our world?”
“I was once,” you said. “A long time ago.”
Henry’s eyes widened. “How long have you been here?”
You didn’t answer. You didn’t have to. The look in your eyes said it all.
A long time.
Maybe too long.
“Then how do we get home?” Natalie asked, stepping forward. “If you’ve been here longer—if you know more—how do we get back?”
Your gaze dropped to the fire.
“That portal that brought you here? It’s closed.”
Garret froze. “Wait—closed?”
“Sealed,” you said. “And the piglins are trying to break it open from the other side. But if they do… it won’t send you home. It’ll flood this world with theirs.”
A beat of silence.
“We’re stuck here,” Dawn whispered.
“No,” you said, looking up again. “There’s one way back. But it’s buried deep under the old world. Where the End meets the void.”
Steve’s face darkened. “You mean the strongholds?”
You nodded once. “But the piglins are heading there too. If they find it first, they’ll twist the gate into something else. Something worse.”
The group fell into a grim silence.
And then Henry stood.
“Then we beat them to it.”
Garret looked at him like he was crazy. “That’s suicide.”
“No,” Steve said quietly. “That’s the only chance we’ve got.”
You stood too, and for a moment, your eyes pulsed again—purple and deep, like a crack in reality.
“We’ll need allies,” you said. “Villagers. Iron golems. Hidden relics from before the split. There are still things in this world that remember how to fight.”
Natalie clenched her fists. “Then let’s find them.”
And in the shadows beyond the firelight, something growled.
Something watching.

Okay first of all he’s not calling you babe. Ever.
He calls you dumbshit (affectionately), fuck face, dick weed
Can, will, and has gotten into fights over you
He checks you out all the time with absolutely zero shame.
Sneaks into your room all the time (everyone knows that he’s there they just don’t care)
You gets free slushies at the grab n go bc you are Vance’s babysitter
Vance won’t hug you in public
But when you two are alone oh god
He won’t let you out of bed and tells you if you try to get up again he’ll kick your ass
He won’t ever be aggressive with you and will punch everything else but you
But you do play fight
He won’t let you win but he does think it’s kinda cute that you try
He only comes to class to see you
He always sits next to you in class and once punched a kid for stealing his seat
He gets jealous easily but he knows you won’t leave him
You steal his denim jacket and he punches your arm and takes it back. But he thought you looked good in it so gave it back, saying “Don’t let it go over your big fucking head”
Man is whipped.
He’s never going to admit it ofc but he follows you like a lost puppy
His mom absolutely LOVES you she loves how soft he is with you
He’s a bed hog but he won’t let you leave the bed so don’t try
You and his mom are the ONLY people allowed to touch his hair. Don’t ask to braid it because he’s going to say no but he may let you brush it
He has really warm hands so you’re always holding them at home when you’re cold
He hated it at first but now he’s the one who grabs you
Vance is metal fan and his favorite song is cherry bomb
Vance hates kids but he adores griffin (his little brother because I said so)
He and Griffin play fight all the time which you think is adorable
He lets griffin win
You always clean him up after fights
He’d teach you how to fight if you didn’t know
You get in a fight and the girls boyfriend tried to jump in but Vance beat his ass
Shit talkers
You guys have weekly movie nights with Griffin and his mom
Vance will lay right on top of you the those time and crushes you
You’re his personal therapist
He didn’t open up at first but eventually he did
This bitch ALWAYS tries to scare you
Don’t let him near the kitchen without supervision
He’s known for chasing people with knives
When you come into his house, there’s a framed photo of you, Vance, and Griffin
Griffin is sitting behind you laughing about something you said while you laughed to
Vance on the other hand has the tiniest smile
He really loves you but doesn’t know how to show it so give him some time

Can I get an Angst with all the boys, having a crush on gn reader who is new in town and heterochromia? ( If you can of course💕)
It's the first time I do a request fr 😭
It's ok , it's normal to be nervous when requesting if you're new or not used to it , hopefully I'll do my best with this one , enjoy it anon , thank you for sending your request 💕 !
°°°IT'S THE EYES . IT WAS ALL IN THEIR EYES °°°
Author's note : I been slow with publishing stuff because personal life is becoming more a survival than living , so sorry if it takes some requests too long to get done , but I'm slowly , yet surely , getting the ones I have done one step at the time .
Characters included in the following headcanons : Robin Arellano , Griffin Stagg , Vance Hopper , Finney Blake , Bruce Yamada , Billy Showalter
WARNINGS ! : CHARACTER X READER CONTENT , IGNORANCE / DISBELIEF ABOUT THE SYNDROME , BULLYING , THIS MIGHT BE SHORTER THAN EXPECTED , SOME MIGHT BE SHORTER THAN OTHERS , THERE'S PROBABLY SPELLING MISTAKES , GENDER NEUTRAL READER , CRINGE ¿? PROBABLY CRINGE , 2 SIDES , ONE WITH FLUFF , ONE WITH ANGST ( AND IT MIGHT NOT BE SO X READER TYPE OR BE A SENSITIVE TOPIC TO READ , ALSO THE CHARACTERS ARE MEAN ON THE ANGST ) TOXICITY ¿? DISCRIMINATION , MANIPULATION ¿? , ETC
ROBIN ARELLANO
≈ This guy is in love with your eyes , they're so unique , so badass , so special of yours , you're like a cool character of a movie or like a kickass villain
≈ Robin is a boy who loves everything that it's out of the normality , the more different , the more harder to forget , the better .
≈ If you felt insecure for your eye colors before then you'll be no more with him by your side ! He will compliment you without shame in front of others and he won't stop until you're all flustered and blushing
≈ But all jokes aside , once he get to know you and learned more about you , Robin will always remember you to not feel bad about your looks , it's not like you can control it , and it's nothing bad that you need to hide either
≈ if you want to buy contact lenses to match both eyes he won't stop you , but he'll be sad for not being able to see the real look in your eyes anymore
≈ He sometimes jokes about being jealous of your eyes , you get to have 2 colors and he only got 1 , that's not fair ! He wants to look just as cool as you
≈ You will always have his protection and support , no one will make fun of you , no one , and the one who dares to will feel a physical payment for playing stupid games in their faces
≈ Don't ever feel bad about yourself , because you'll have an annoying and romantic Robin making sure to bust your ego over the sky and taking photos whenever he can
≈ But that isn't so bad , isn't ?
GRIFFIN STAGG
° He's so sorry for being the ones who believed in the rumours it was contagious in the past , for being ignorant and avoiding you like the rest of the students
° Growing up he realized it was something stupid to think on , if it was contagious , then why nobody has changed eye colors yet ?
° Maybe you don't , but Griffin does remember well the day you two started to be friends
° The day you decided not to do anything in P.E class because you felt physically bad , and he , since nobody wanted him on their team , didn't lose anything by also not doing exercise either . You sat next to him , and started a casual conversation that turned out to be a funny exchange
° Casual conversations started to be more interested on each other's likes , conversations in each other's likes lead to gossip sessions , gossip became deep talks about the future and other corny shit that Griffin didn't thought he'll talk with someone ever
° He compares your eyes a lot with things , now that he learned to appreciate them , he can't stop remember you everytime a combination of color is the same as the look in your eyes
° You can say that your charm is contagious , and he's more than happy to be infected by love for you
VANCE HOPPER
♠ While others kids thought you were weird or cool , Vance thought you were a pretender
♠ Can you blame him though ? He hasn't seen somebody like you in his entire life , it's impossible for someone to have their eyes like that ! You must be using contact lenses or some shit !
♠ The evening he realized you weren't faking , he melted like ice cream in summer right there in front of you ( But you didn't noticed it )
♠ He stormed furious out of the mall when in a bad day he couldn't even get to the half of his high score , and accidently bumped into you . He looked into your eyes mad as hell , not expecting at all to see your pupils getting bigger , frozen about how fucked up it was to know that you truly had such a unique pair of eyes
♠ After an awkward time he slowly started to greet you " indifferently " , drawing you on his special notebook when the teachers didn't bothered him , and sometimes inviting you to watch him play Pin Ball when he felt cocky enough
♠ Hope you don't mind intense staring , because Vance is all about looking straight into your soul , he can't help it , or well , maybe he can because he can be a little of a tsundere
♠ To be honest he'll stare at your eyes all day if he could , but he's too of a dork to admit it , or decide if he likes it when you look at him or not due how flustered you make him feel
♠ And yeah , he will start a fight for you if someone dares to mock you , it's obvious , but it's a nice thing to think about
FINNEY BLAKE
∞ Finney is more curious than avoidant , he feels guilty for looking at you so much , you may had felt the hairy eyeball before and don't like it but , you're so .... Interesting ? Beautiful ? It's hard to describe
∞ Even for A or B you'll meet and trust my word , he's going to be respectful all the time he's with you . Only if you gave him permission to , he'll ask you more about your condition and how it exactly effects you , but don't worry , once he get all his doubts solved , he will move on and ask you about yourself
∞ He understands it yet he does not understand how someone could hate you by the color of your eyes , he doesn't even get racism and now we have people insult you by the color of your eyes ? By something you didn't choose to have ? Like what ?
∞ You're special ( and attractive he may add ) from the rest and that's gonna get more staring than someone else will have , sure , but he'll be angrily confused if someone bothered you in front of him , now we're bullying people for their genetics ? Come on man
∞ Finney would try to get you out of a uncomfortable situation , but if it persists , he might be verbally violent or push the person to tell them to back off and leave you alone
∞ Bonus : Gwen does the same with you , although she loves to tease Finney in your presence , she likes you though , she just does the " sibling annoying the other " things
∞ He has a special love letter that he never gave you were he used astronomy elements to describe you and the look in your eyes , but he was to embarrassed or afraid of rejection that he kept it for himself
∞ You read it , but you never told Finney and kept the secret
BRUCE YAMADA
★ Ignorance isn't a sin some people say , but he pity you when he first saw you and until this day he can't believe how dumb he was
★ Bruce mind was like " Aw poor kid they probably have problems with their vision " as if he knew what exactly condition you have
★ He felt like a dumbass the day you tapped his shoulder to tell him from really far away that someone was trying to steal his bike after one of his games
★ To thank you for the gesture ( ahem , and clear his mind from the guilt ) he invited you to watch a movie in the cinema ( Jaws 2 being his option and yours Star Wars 4 , you both watched the two of the movies because in one you sneak in between the crowd anyway )
★ after that movie night everything went smooth , until the point that neither of you acknowledge the fact that you still didn't confessed yet and were already lovey dovey with each other
★ He has the privilege to say he has a partner that has no comparation , there's no other you , and Bruce loves that
★ Bruce loves you and those special eyes that life has gave you
BILLY SHOWALTER
🔺 Billy knew animals could had two different colors in their eyes , but he didn't thought it was possible for a human too
🔺 It was a shame how nobody saw that special shine in you , or maybe they did , but they decided it was too bright for them and tried to turn you down
🔺 But you never let them took advantage of you , and he was proud that you know your worth and didn't let the negativity get you
🔺 He didn't stuttered or thought twice when you asked him on a date , you were his crush , of course he's gonna say yes !
🔺 Billy is not only an admirer of you and your lovely eyes , but a flatterer as well
🔺 At first , the compliments were accidents that escaped from his mouth before he noticed he was talking in loud voice , but with time , he became more and more confident to tell you how gorgeous you look , how you make him feel , his plans for the future , etc
🔺 If Billy has the chance to , he's gonna spoil the hell out of you , just to give you a material proof how much he loves you , so he can see that singular look in your eyes everytime you're happy , forever .
ANGST PART
They would love you of course , they can't control their hearts to stop beating for you every time you look at them or smile , but love sometimes ain't all rainbows and butterflies .
Now why or why you were born like this ? Why you couldn't just be normal ? Everything could be so perfect , so beautiful , if you didn't look different and just be like other people .
In a bad dream type of reality , they will cross the limits so they don't feel " ashamed " to be seen with you
BRUCE AND BILLY would suggest the idea of buying contact lenses to match your eyes with only one color , Billy being the one telling you that it's necessary that you should had them , BRUCE being the one who bought them without asking you first as a " gift " , thinking it was the best idea , after all , the two of you would look much better as a couple in people's eyes if you did
ROBIN AND FINNEY would keep you as their secret , no one has to know their feelings for you or your relationship if you ever had one , FINNEY afraid of having another reason to be bullied because of you or having his father mock his selection of partner , ROBIN because he's ashamed of liking someone that doesn't look " right " and is "pointed by God "
VANCE AND GRIFFIN would backstabbed you when you started to get used to the idea of having someone by your side , VANCE would mock you and insult you in front of his friends or people if that made him look better , GRIFFIN would act as if he doesn't know you when you needed him the most , without a feeling completely guilty for it , perhaps not even a little if that makes you and people's starting at him when he's by your side go away
It's just the way things are . It's how your eyes are .
