hello ,  maul is capable of feeling emotions like joy and sadness but it’s just that anger and hatred and fear is much easier 2 use when it comes to channeling the dark side ,  and are also the ones who gives the strongest of outcomes

                                SUCH    WAS    THE    INEVITABLE    DUALITY       of   her   precious        &          beloved     red.         all    the    sweetest     fruits    were    of         a      florid     scarlet,        were     they    not        ?        nectar     and    juices     with    a    decadent    sweetness   unrivaled       :       cherries,      apples,      pomegranate.           and    yet,            how   they    share    their    beauty    with    such      awful,    abhorrent    things       :      for     blood    and    carnage   and   violence    were    red                         her    beloved,    cherished   shade   of    red     !                       and   hideous.            he,         who    stands   before   her,      red,    red,    red.      whether   in    beauty    or     horrid     corruption,         she    cannot    yet     tell.   

                                 it   is    the     eyes   which   stare   back   that   hold    her   body    rigid.      she,     too    captivated      (     or   is    it     frightened    ?     )     by     the   contrast   of    them     against    a    blackened,       blinking   canvas                cold,    stringent   metal    replaced    the    greens   and   blues    of    the     gorgeous      vistas   her   home    held    dear.       she   ached   for   them,    for   home,     for   beauty.               ❝          i   am   .   .   .      i    am    needed    here.        ❞           the   doll   speaks    with    a    quiver   she   resents,     barely   breaking   past    her   lacquered   tiers      ;       in    her   lap,      against    her    scarlet   silks,        knuckles     turned     a   ghastly   -  white.             ❝           i    do   not    wish   to    agitate   you,            ❞        blonde    ringlets    and    eyes    a   lilac   shade   of    fallen   dusk,     her    purity    notes   his    scowl,              ❝         i - if   i   am.        has   the     senate    not    told    you    of    my     purpose    here       .   .   .    ?       i    should     think     not    .   .    .         forgive   me,     that    did   sound    rude.     i    only   meant    to    suggest     that   i .  .     that    you                            ❞

                     she   breathes.       ❝        the    way    you’re   glaring    is    awfully   intimidating,    i  -  it’s   difficult   to   speak  .  .            ❞ 

          BUT  FEAR  ONLY  FUELED  THE  FIRE ,  MADE  IT  stronger  and  more  susceptible  to  other  emotions ,  everything  high  strung  and  eager  to  calm  down  (  but  so  much  more  eager  to  either  fight  back  or  fly  away  —  the  instinct ,  fight  or  flight  ) .  her  fear ,  her  obvious  discomfort  at  the  mere  action  of  him  narrowing  his  eyes ,  made  his  heart  hammer  and  grueling  smirk  threaten  to  MAR  painted  features .  such  was  the  duality  of  the  color  red .  anger ,  to  passion ,  to  power ,  to  freedom  /  love ,  to  blood ,  to  prick ,  to  sleep .  a  terrible  circle ,  this  red ,  behind  eyes  and  on  lips  and  on  skin  and  everywhere ,  coating  hands  (  she ,  thorn ,  he ,  MURDER  )  and  dripping  until  a  puddle  formed ,  mirror  glance  (  and  yet  reflection ,  too ,  was  red  and  red  and  red  ) .

          ❛❛   you ,   ❜❜   he  started ,  inhaled ,  hissed !   ❛❛   you  are  needed  here ,  yes ,  but  not  here .   ❜❜   the  planet ,  yes ,  the  place ,  no ,  for  this  was  his  now ,  these  marble  halls ,  until  he  left  —  left  with  RED  behind  every  step  (  slay  them all ,  maul ,  let  them  know  safety  is  never  possible  in  the  galaxy .  let  them  know  they  have  a  TRUE  master  ) .  his  master  had  told  him  to  spare  ONE ,  a  messenger !  they  would  keep  quiet  (  he  would  made  sure  of  that  )  until  the  right  time ,  when  lights  were  about  to  fade ,  when  darkness  would  take  over ,  when  messages  would  be  told  (  the  sith  have  returned !  ) .   ❛❛   the  senate  and  i  do  not  stand  together ,   ❜❜   this  he  spat  with  such  hatred  —  where  was  the  senate  NOW ,  princess ,  now  that  you’re  in  distress ?  —  such  malicious  intent  his  eyes  seemingly  flashed ,  yellow  as  the  sun  yet  as  hot ,  burning ,  as  if  they  were  about  to  collapse  any  second ,  twin  stars  dwindling  and  then  CONSUMING .  

          he  stepped  up ,  forwards ,  and  with  hand  pulled  back ,  force  taking  hold  of  woman ,  and  he  ripped  her  from  seat ,  flinging  her  behind  his  very  being .  hand  closed  tightly  and  but  NO  FORCE  was  added  to  close  around  thin  throat  —  he  lifted  it  and ,  with  arm  stretching  out ,  held  straight  out  from  body ,  he  pointed  with  index  finger ,  snarl  still  on  features  (  yes ,  fear  him ,  fear  what  he  stood  for  and  what  he  could  do  !  ) ,  go  away  /  go  away  /  go  away ,    ❛❛   LISTEN  to  my  words .  realize  for  yourself .   ❜❜
