i think the fanbase wouldn’t even be this upset if they’d built up to it. why didn’t you enable youtube memberships? i have no doubt people would contribute as much as they can, simply because most people would agree that artists deserve to get paid for their content, and they’d want to support you. we were buying your merch, coming to live shows, subbed to patreon, etc etc. so why’d you jump to paywalling your content before trying other things? and why are you this adamant about production value when no one is watching you for it? do you not know your audience?
