Hey sorry ignorier das wenn es grad nervt oder zu viel wird oder wasnicht aber. Ich komm mit der Politik nicht mehr hinterher, weißt du vllt, wer wahlberechtigt ist, wenn es Neuwahlen gibt? Bei der Bundestagswahl nächstes Jahr darf ich nicht, obwohl Staatsbürgerschaft und so, weil Hauptwohnsitz nicht in Deutschland. Darf ich bei dem Blödsinn hier jetzt dann trotzdem? Ich bin so verwirrt 😭

Soweit ich weiß alle, die an dem Wahltag wahlberechtigt wären, wenn es eine normale Bundestagswahl wäre.

Tut mir auch leid für die Leute, die nächstes Jahr 18 werden und sich voll auf ihre erste Bundestagswahl gefreut haben.

Noch im Mai dieses Jahres reiste der damalige bayerische Umweltminister Marcel Huber durch die Kommunen entlang der Donau, um für nachhaltigen Hochwasserschutz zu werben. „Flutpolder sind unsere Festungen gegen Jahrhundertfluten“, beschwor der CSU-Politiker, wohl wissend um die Vorbehalte der Anwohner gegen den Bau der riesigen Wasserrückhaltebecken. Knapp neun Monate später ist er abgelöst von Thorsten Glauber von den Freien Wählern und drei von zehn geplanten gesteuerten Flutpoldern gehören der Vergangenheit an. ...

Es beschleicht einen der Verdacht, dass sich die AfD als Opfer politischer Gewalt darstellen will.

Weidel sagt nen Wahlkampfauftritt am Dienstag angeblich aus Sicherheitsgründen ab (von denen zumindest das BKA nichts weiß). Vermutlich seit Sonntag ist sie mit ihrer Lebensgefährtin auf Malle, also liegt es nahe, dass sie einfach nicht ihren Urlaub unterbrechen wollte. Einfach Urlaub machen und in Strandrestaurants rumsitzen ist jedenfalls nicht das Verhalten einer Person, die gerade um ihre Sicherheit fürchtet.

Chrupalla ist zwar unbestreitbar im Krankenhaus. Für den von der AfD kolportierten Angriff gibt es aber bisher keine Beweise (die Staatsanwaltschaft untersucht die Sache aus Prinzip, nicht weil es irgendwelche Verdächtigen oder sowas geben würde). Es kann also genauso gut sowas sein, wie ne Allergie auf nen Insektenstich.

Bei Chrupalla ist die Lage noch unklar, bei Weidel dagegen nicht. Aber natürlich werden die AfD-Anhänger die Darstellung der AfD als Beweis nehmen, dass sie ja eigentlich die am schlimmsten verfolgte schweigende Mehrheit in Deutschland sind. Egal was am Ende wirklich dahinter steckt.

A political statement on tumblr is uncommon for me and probably unwanted but I am speaking directly to my fellow Germans here. Please take the threat the far-right party AfD is posing to our democracy seriously. Please take the recent use of AfD votes to come to a state-decision seriously. Our politicians are giving up ground to stand on to push through their own political agenda with the help of a party that is openly and aggressively homophobic, transphobic, antisemitic and racist; and gaining voters daily through misinformation and fear-mongering. We all know it; but knowing it is not the same as protesting against it, advocating against it, and becoming politically active. I know life is a lot, that everything cries for our attention all the time, and that many of these things are tiring us to the point of paralysis. I beg of you to please keep up and alert a little longer to defend our democratic parliamentary system against a party that is trying to dismantle it. We have seen a legal rise to power before and we know how a party, once in power, can do a lot to make atrocities legally defendable while solidifying their own power.

Don’t let anyone tell you we would just be pushing the problem into the future. A ban of the AfD obviously is not the solution to the problem but it guarantees our democratic freedom which is endangered if the AfD should rise to power. It essentially buy us time to educate voters on the danger of an anti democratic party and to find common ground with protest voters who are unaware of the ramifications of a protest vote. It gives us time to incorporate political education and activism in our life to prevent another gain in votes for a party that threatens our diverse, queer communities.

I apologise for the incoherence but I type this from the bottom of my heart, being scared for what will happen next in our political landscape.

Hey, auch wenn ihr nicht Kai-Uwe seid, wisst ihr vielleicht, wie man noch an die alten Podcast-Folgen kommen könnte? Es gab da eine, die es nie in eins der Bücher geschafft hat, die Heizung ist kaputt und weil das Känguru so friert, provoziert Marc-uwe es, an ganz viele schlimme Dinge zu denken, danken, damit ihm heiß wird. Auf Youtube sind die Folgen verschwunden habt ihr ne Idee?

What's happening in Lützerath?

Lützerath is a small village in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, near Düsseldorf and Cologne.

The energy company RWE wants to demolish the village in order to expand the Garzweiler open-cast mine, despite several studies showing that it’s not necessary. Demolishing Lützerath and mining the coal located in the ground below would release millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, making it impossible for Germany to adhere to its climate protection targets and the Paris Agreement.

Police and RWE employees are currently trying to evict the people occupying Lützerath by force.

What can you do to help?

Go to Lützerath and resist the eviction by civil disobedience. Police and RWE employees are currently preparing to close off the village so try to get there before January 9th. Here’s a packing list and here are directions. If you want to bring additional donations in kind, they have a list with things that are currently needed.

There is also a protest camp being set up in nearby Keyenberg. It opens on January 9th but you can already go there now if you want to help.

There is a big protest planned in Lützerath on January 14th 2023 at 12 noon. Several Fridays for Future groups have organised coaches and group tickets.

Additionally, there are protests planned in cities all over Germany today and in the next few days

Die ganzen Unterklassen-Kids, die hoffnungsvoll die FDP gewählt haben, damit sie keine Reichensteuer zahlen müssen, falls sie mal Millionär werden, fühlen sich bestimmt richtig gut wenn sie mitbekommen, dass ihr geliebter Lindner ihnen alle 9€-Ticket-Nachfahren ablehnt, weil Deutschland da kein Geld für hat. Sollen arme Menschen halt zur Arbeit laufen, das haben die davon, kein Geld zu verdienen.

Ich weiß nicht genau, was die "Unterklasse-Kids" spezifisch dir getan haben, lieber Anon, aber ich nutze jetzt mal deine nette Frage hierfür:

Der Feind ist nicht die "Unterklasse" (wtf!) Oder die "Mittelklasse" oder irgendeine andere Gruppe der normalen Bevölkerung. Wenn wir uns gegeneinander wenden, verlieren wir das eigentliche Problem aus den Augen, nämlich reiche, von der Realität entfernte Politiker und Geschäftsleute, denen nichts wichtiger ist, als sie selbst und ihr Geld und Einfluss.
