POST 2: Brand
Nestle is commonly well-known across the globe, including third-world countries. The brand itself uses green_marketing as Nestle’s commitment statement includes ‘enhancing quality of life and contributing to a healthier future’.
In the past, Nestle has had its ups and downs in its own ethics . According to Nestle.com, the brand’s ethics involves no tolerance with fraud, bribery, nor corruption and ensure data privacy and public privacies. This does not violate with the Foreign_Corrupt_Practices_Act , as Nestle does not associate with bribery. The brand is under social_control as customers discover the brand’s uses in harming the environment, such as the use of palm oil. Nestle also has past history in behavioral_norms on social media based on a conflict of using palm oil as an ingredient in their Kit Kat products and handled social media backlash in a negative manner.

POST 1: “Nestle”
Nestle has been around for some time, even before I was born. From trying their sweet condensed milk of La Lechera on whole wheat bread for a quick elementary school snack to using Nestle’s creamer CoffeeMate for my coffee that keeps me energized, I never realized how reliant I was on Nestle’s products in my everyday life.
In my digital arts class, we are currently working on a project that involves brand understanding and logo recreations based on a brand’s mission statement and values. My focus of the project beforehand was redesigning the Nestle logo was interested in understanding more of Nestle’s marketing , including their strategies to target each audience to a specific brand. market_orientation is what I am also interested in learning from Nestle as the main reason why I use Nestle’s products are based on my decision and what strategies were used to capture my attention.
By being able to use previous experiences I had with Nestle products, I hope to have a better connection with the brand in terms of customer_satisfaction . In order to reach that goal, I have to understand Nestle’s customer_relationship_management and what group I would fall in to keep Nestle to be a successful company. I also want to take the time to analyze a marketing_mix that creates Nestle as a company including one product, promotion, place and pricing techniques.
