Well I know it’s been pretty dead here anyway but since everyone is on this “mass exodus to Twitter” meme lately I should make sure people know that I’m dasyatiart on Twitter

I did a piece a while ago of Makototruth’s OC Nysa which he liked enough that he wanted to do some art of one of mine in return... unfortunately I didn’t have any OCs of my own to speak of... so he gifted me a design for one :)

Some extra content related to this girl is up on my art Twitter.  I still don’t know what I’m gonna name her, only a faint idea what kind of story she’d have, and all of her colours could change at any time... but I do think she looks cool.  So I hope I can come up with something good to do with her.  And if nothing else, I have something to draw now when I don’t know what else to draw.

Also halfway through this turned into an experiment in painting over my linework and I hope didn’t completely ruin it

Once I started seeing people super-crowning the most obscure Mario characters ever I decided I would just skip ahead and super-crown THE MOST OBSCURE MARIO CHARACTER EVER.

Jumped on the bandwagon!  Since I have the originality of a brick I just stuck with the original design but swole.  I do have another idea rattling around in the back of my brain but ... ehh... we’ll see.

Quickly throwing up a fix to a pic I did during LordBBH’s sub raffle last night.  For all the effort I put into the sketch I still have trouble remembering important details like how mice have tails.  Long ones, with bows on them even!  Well it’s fixed now.

The pic is of Quiz Theater - 3tsu no Monogatari, a 3-part game that only had the first story played on roulette previously.  The second story looked intriguing enough that I had it on my big list of request suggestions, but someone else got to it first.

Also before I started drawing I saw a random comment in chat about how “BBH has the horniest damn contributing artists” and then BBH commented that the girl mouse “totally turned somebody into a furry” and I thought to myself “I’LL SHOW ALL OF YOU”

Couple more doodles from the past two days.  Macaw45 did another stream of movie tie-in games, including The Godfather on Amiga; which has some terrific pixel art and an absurdly high ratio of ladies pushing baby carriages to trigger-happy mobsters with Tommy guns.

Also MAME Roulette #177 featured an encore of Twinbee Yahho [sic]!  Dumplechan played it during Nintendon’t a couple days earlier, so it was no surprise that it won a viewer’s choice poll (even though LordBBH claims not to know it).  I opted to draw Pastel, but I still threw in Twinbee for colour variety.

Nintendon’t is winding down, so I think this is probably the last doodle I’m gonna do for it.  DanZeeMan played Jet De Go in full pilot attire, and only managed to crash a couple of times!

Macaw45 played Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge, so here’s Serena S striking a random action pose with her lineart-less sidekick Balzac in a featureless room because I was lazy.

MAME Roulette #175 (Viewer’s Choice Extravaganza #20 Part 1).

Super World Stadium ‘99 is one of the few games in that series to be 3D, and also one of the few to heavily feature cameos from other Namco games.  Here we have Makoto Kotobuki from Mach Breakers... and even though she was only playing baseball, I’ve also got her playing Sega Bass Fishing Challenge because we all know she can handle any sport you throw at her.’

Manx TT Superbike sounds like something different when the announcer says it so I made up a character and oh god why couldn’t I draw faces

Skipping chronological order a little so I can have the two Macaw pics together.  Also because I’m REALLY proud of how well this came out for how quickly I turned it around.  This was for his playthrough of Wild Guns Reloaded on Steam.

Yes there’s several issues with the hand and the gun, whatever, I’ll fix them later, maybe.

MAME Roulette #174.  Rompers had some quirky characters and a funny message on the continue screen, so I gave it a proper drawing.  Funky Bee had nothing funny about it, so I did a self-proclaimed art shitpost and I can’t be bothered to fix the yellow teeth so I guess Jerry’s just a smoker now
