     Not for the first time in his life (albeit, from the looks of it, maybe the last one instead), it’s a mixture of not listening to others, recklessness and trying to focus on others first that will ultimately take their tolls. It’s worse when you know about it and can’t do anything to avoid it — he’d always think to go down guns blazing, securing someone’s way out or anything. Well, partly true.

     She told him to skip out this one. Find some excuse not to run this mission. Had sounded like any other time when they were joking about it, and just in retrospective does the underlining begging in her voice really come through. (Ridiculous thought, at the time. Sombra doesn’t beg.)

     Well. He’s locked in now, with no retreat route save for one that goes through too many people eager to put various bullets into his flesh, already trying to break down the door. Can only hope the others made it out safe, then.

     It’s ironic not to reach the girl who’s whole deal is to be constantly online, but here he is, thought of backup long abandoned (there’s no chance they’d get here in time without getting themselves killed, too), and she’s not responding.

           "Y'know, ’m a bit disappointed you o’ all people ain’t replyin’.“

     Not like he’s trying to reach anyone else, really. Not once the situation was clear.

i’m starting to feel less and less like i belong. again. but it’s more solid this time. yeah it’s partly because i’ve been dropping the ball on threads lately but...... it’s hard to find motivation to continue threads when no one will talk to you anymore. or send memes when you reblog them, or just generally interact with you. and yet they keep writing with other versions of your muse ( which i totally understand but it still stings a little ).

i adore sombra and i dont want to lose her but im tired of logging on and feeling unwanted or uninspired. of feeling like my muse only exists as a ship piece, if that. of feeling inadequate or inferior or just... displaced. i love so many of the people here, but it gets tiring trying to get people to interact with you who keep pushing you aside, or making you their second or even last choice.

idk what to do with this, but it’s so tiring and discouraging and idk what to do about it anymore.
