I don't think Diceplay should be as popular as it is.

I feel like Parker's obsession with rules clashes against Chances G&G games since rules are laid in thick while G&G (and D&D) the rules can be whatever you desire with the homebrew feature. Sure, opposites attract and all that but that seems sure to end up in loads of arguments (and not ones that benefit the relationship)

I know I know people don’t like the whole “date everything is a physiological horror” thing BUT HERE ME OUT!!!

The dateables being uncanny valley. Not in the whole “ooo scary realistic eyes with blood and longs face and limbs” but it the whole there so otherworldly, so powerful, they are man made things but they have hobbies, personality, family, but they look slightly off, so plastic, to un-human.

I love Hector like many others do but I feel I see him differently. Many people simp for him for various reasons and yadda yadda. Sure I believe he's attractive and a kind soul but I believe he wouldn't be well in a relationship. Atleast not a healthy one. He's very insecure in himself and I believe he would project those feeling often. And *spoilers* after hes realized its hinted that he masks and still isn't true to himself.

I feel like you could never tell him no, not because "hes to cute", but because if you do he'll freak out over it. If you were to deny being intimate he'd immediately believe it's because of something to do with him. I feel like alot of the relationship would cater to him and how he feel or would react about things. He gives heavy "victim playing" vibes to me sometimes. And the love bombing feels like he's just trying to get you to stay, but then he does his "im not worth it, you should leave" and then would get upset no matter when you do.

He just feels very fake and toxic to me. I like his silly words and yearning, but there isn't enough to him yk. K rant over bye-

As someone who is aroace, I mostly picked up this game because I recognized a good amount of the voice actors and then I enjoyed the demo. I thought I would have to REALLY lean into my allo persona I put on when I play games with any focus on romance, but it’s surprisingly easy to love these fun objects. Plus the fact that there’s always an option to choose friendship and they are always still jazzed about it!!! It’s great.

I’ve also realized I have a type for the first time ever! Sweet cuties that are actually a little sad(Mateo, Zoey), nerdy girls(Maggie, Gaia) and monsters(Nightmare). It’s actually been a pretty eye opening and self exploratory game for me and I really really love it😊

Gaia anon, I see you, I hear you, I’m with you. She’s just a sweetie who wants to learn more about the world! She can be overenthusiastic but I love that about her because so can I!
