Sarcasm dripped off her tongue as she had barely closed the front door when she was confronted by one of her brothers, she had honestly expected it to be Drayton that would be there to confront her once she got back from her impromptu trip away from the family so to see Johnny there instead was indeed a surprise.

Still she kept her smile on her features as she walked forward to move past her sibling, humming to herself all the while as she put down what looked like a beaten up duffel bag, various stains covering it and blending into the dark green fabric with a complimenting crimson.

"Ah just went and did a lil shopping, it is almost sick season and ah just know that one of y'all will catch a cold eventually."

The sound of the zipper filled the room as various containers spilled out from the carrier ranging from over the counter medications to more. . . exotic selections reserved for more serious situations.

"Now are ya just gonna stand there slack jawed or ya gonna use those muscles and help lil ol' me put these away?"

Such a sad sight, the once proud farm house that they all grew up in and had such fond memories for was now an old ramshackle shadow of it's former self. Wooden beams barely holding themselves together with chipped white paint, doors that would only take a firm shove to take them off of their hinges and do not get her started on the rot of the floorboards.

"Ah tried to give the ol' girl a lick of paint and a few face lifts but not even Johnny can fix the main issues forever."

She may need to go traveling once again, try and find some rich idiot who she could rinse for some capital before coming back with enough to fix up the home. Looking back to the elder Sawyer before speaking once again, this time in a more cheery tone.

"But enough 'bout that, y'all just got home! come now, first we will get some grub in ya and then y'all get some rest. Nubbin's may have done a bit of decorating but yer room is still where ya left it."

Another dull day, a bored sigh escaped the peach tinted lips of the woman who was behind the counter of the barely standing gas station after being roped into 'pulling her weight' by the old man who had decided he was taking the day off, something about chili and a woman named Florance? she honestly was not listening to what her brother was saying as he dropped her off at the station.

Glancing at her nails as she waited for the clear coating to dry as the sound of the bell at the door caught her attention along with an unfamiliar voice, perhaps today would not be so dull after all.

"Well howdy there sugar!"

Standing up she moved to lean against the dusty counter that separated Sissy from this new face and she took the time to study her features, yet another student traveling their dusty roads?

"Why we do but am 'fraid it is a payphone, y'all got change for it? otherwise y'ou'all will need to buy somethin' so ah can ring ya up and give ya some."
