what if reyna and annabeth switched camps au 

percy would go absolutely crazy, he’d probably march onto olympus himself and demand to know where she is. tyson and grover would have to restrain him and help calm him down, after he yelled he’d just start crying and crying. he’s finally broken. after all that, this just breaks him because annabeth isn’t there and she’s always been there

grover would search for her as much as he could and thalia would take the hunters all over to look for her because their sister is missing and they need to get her back

reyna wakes up with piper as her girlfriend and she’s like pretty girl why are you holding my hand and piper’s like reyna i’m your girlfriend remember

piper and reyna are both sad their relationship was a trick of the mist and they build it up again, they’re dating by the end of tlh

she saves piper at the grand canyon with her reflexes, grabbing her before she falls too far out of reach

reyna doesn’t get claimed, bellona has no greek equivalent so she’s put in hermes but everyone thinks her parent is ares or athena because she just looks the part

her, piper and leo go on the quest and it goes roughly the same. when she sees thalia she remembers another grace, the blond boy she left behind. that memory is how thalia finds out jason is alive, and the hunters help reyna, piper and leo on their quest (thalia thinks this might help her find annabeth)

reyna is one of the seven instead of jason and we get jealous jason in moa

annabeth only remembers percy, and her instincts from her time on the run help her survive, but she has no idea how she knows this stuff

hazel thinks she’s a daughter of bellona like reyna

annabeth bonds with frank and hazel immediately, and they stick with her through the quest in son

she helps frank with his insecurities, and listens to hazel talk about her past

the more memories she gains back, the faster she puts the pieces together. reyna is at whatever place she came from, and they need to unite the two camps.

at the amazons base hylla recognizes annabeth and annabeth recognizes her. hazel and annabeth tell hylla everything, how they think reyna is in new york, everything.

freeing thanatos is harder but she didn’t train for ten years for nothing. fighting his captor is her hardest fight and she’s badly injured, to the point where she loses one of her arms

her and percy’s reunion is sweet. percy is crying a lot and he won’t stop saying “i missed you.”

“were you worried about me seaweed brain?” “no…”

jason is very jealous of reyna and piper and he’s a little bitter about annabeth and percy too (heartbroken!jason)

percy still has the curse of achilles and he scares the romans a lot because of his invulnerability

the eidolons possess leo still, but they also possess annabeth and reyna and we get a battle between them because piper can’t choose, she can’t hurt percy but she doesn’t want reyna to die

reyna and annabeth don’t actually compete with each other because they’re more focused on saving the world then which of them is stronger

jason brings the athena parthenos back to chb and bonds with nico and coach hedge along the way

what she means: the parallels between annabeth’s two cliff falls haunt my every waking moment. in ttc when annabeth fell off a cliff on the manticore’s back, the hunters had to phsycially restrain percy from hurling himself off of the cliff after her. he follows a quest he wasnt allowed on all the way to washington dc and then joins them to trek across the country to find her (artemis who?? he only cares about annabeth!!). and then at then end of moa, percy REFUSED to let annabeth fall on her own again, REFUSED to let her go and face tartarus alone, instead opting to fall into the literal depths of hell with her, knowing with almost absolute certainty he wouldnt survive, but at least they’re together, at least this time he’s trekking through hell and fighting monsters with her by his side. percy truly is the most ride-or-die bitch for annabeth chase and love is ruined for me bc percy raised the bar all the way to the moon!! fuck!!!!
