Sollux and karkat were right there, they were commenting way too much on each others bulges from their first conversations, had a pretty good friendship/rivalry and respected each other. davekat literally only started because dave repeated a phrase sollux said first and karkat saw that as a rebound chance. thats definitive proof of how davekat was always about throwing their crazy stans a bone, because there was no excuse to not make solkat canon instead

With how Hussie even not confirming about if Aradia and Sollux are moirails or matesprites, he would at least even say that Aradia was his moirail instead and let Karkat be the matesprite. Did Hussie got tired of Sollux, but couldn't kill him off because fan fave? There was no other reason for him to stay with Karkat by Post Retcon cause it was 'meant to happen that he goes with Aradia and leave the group since Vriska is around to solve everything and neither of them want to be around her despite she is literally solving everything'?

like i said before, its weird that he made both his self inserts specifically have a gay realization arc when he himself is clearly straight, he always dated women and married a younger female fan. like that plus the fact that dirk, his other self-insert, is clearly a manipulative sociopath and pretty much a groomer, says so much about hussie too. so fucking creepy.

i think he originally intended for dave to end up with jade and dirk with roxy, but since he wanted to pander to his tumblr friendgroup he changed that to karkat and jake to subvert expectations and the homophobic allegations. all of this couldve been solved if he instead just made two of his various male trolls date and have an unambiguously good relationship.

There wouldn't be a balance of a boy/girl for the 12 trolls. And the guys in this are Tavros, Sollux, Karkat, Equius, Gamzee, and Eridan. GamTav could have worked, but it didn't go far besides that Gamzee made out with Tavros' decapitated head and the bronzeblood would never know about that. But I doubt Hussie would try to make it work or try to write something decent about it.

Rumors say that Jade is actually based on Hussie's crush. But she rejected him and that's why Jade gets less development out of spite for not getting him a chance. It probably would have been Jade if Hussie wasn't a petty bastard. Rose could be another since Hussie said that a Doomed Rose and Doomed Dave fucked each other. He probably may have forgotten he had self inserted as Dave and maybe that other Dave in that timeline shouldn't count as the Dave we have been following. But just saying....

Vast Error does have a large focus on the adventure aspect, you're just too busy having a sensory overload over some social media pronouns to notice (and you call trans people snowflakes!)

So when was the last action sequence happened in Vast Error? What was the latest joke/gag from recent updates? Why isn't there more talk of it? For a series that is suppose to be a step up from Homestuck, they are in a similar situation like Beyond Canon that they missed what made Homestuck great.
