Ok I'm not gonna hate on Druck when they don't do a storyline that I was hoping to see because I believe in letting artists tell the stories they want to tell yadda yadda yadda

I'm still sad about it though, and a little bit disappointed after getting my hopes up

What does concern me more than Zoes dancing is this:

And it is pretty obvious from the first clip, but it also makes sense because we are in Mailin’s pov. She has never participated much in the romance convos (other than supporting her friends in theirs), but we never got to see it from her perspective before.

I know people have said this already but I just want to add my two cents: the angle of queer phobia they are going with rn is really interesting and nuanced, it is such a huge improvement from skam’s usual approach to queerphobia which was either blatant verbal or physical homophobic assaults by random people or parents being homophobic

but this is such a different experience, since ismail seems to be rather confident and has come to terms their gender and sexuality and seems to be out to everyone i assume, portraying how it can affect people around them while showing how we don’t live in post-homophobic world where every teen is suddenly educated and tolerant, is quite heartbreaking and relatable to many queer people probably, depending where exactly this is going I really like it

edit: also I need to add i love how this clip showed both sides, like it started with ismail really feeling themselves being confident and happy yet just because you accept yourself doesn’t mean other people’s ignorance can’t hurt you still but this should not stop you from being who you are
