hi! glad you like my product! unfortunately i don't have anywhere to read the story in any kind of chronological order (full disclosure i do not have time to draw/write that, and i haven't figured out a lot of that stuff on my end anyway; the AU started out more as character design practice than anything else way back in 2021, and it kind of grew from there, so i had no story in mind at the outset) but i do have an ask blog! -> @ask-unstuck

Hello! I saw some of your Homestuck swap art from a couple years ago and I was interested to know why you chose the Classes and Aspects that you did for the characters.

yeah sure! i kept their aspects the same because those generally deal with Core Aspects of personality and i wanted to keep my swapped kids themselves at their very centers, more like the same people raised under different environments and circumstances than different people entirely. so they keep their aspects. but since class usually has more to do with their role in their hypothetical session/story i assigned those based on the threads and scraps of story i'd assembled for the AU in my head; character-defining moments, powers i'd want/need them to have, etc. most of that stuff i've never shared and a large portion of it has become irrelevant over the years as i've reworked pieces of the AU but yea that was the thought process. hope this is the explanation you were looking for lol
