The world lost a special human on Halloween. @laneychantal was a ray of light, fiercely innovative, compassionate, a great friend and so much fun! It’s a bittersweet feeling when a piece that you worked on for so long, sells. On one hand, you’re stoked that all of the hard work paid off. On the other, you’re sad to see it leave the nest. “The Last Suffer” is my favorite painting I’ve ever done. The challenge of creating something bigger and better is forthcoming. I’m humbled, honored and excited that this piece will be hanging in someone’s home, who is a die hard horror fan and big supporter of my work! The baby bat is here! On August 28th at 7:22 a.m., Atticus Reign was born, 7 pounds 14 ounces and 21.5 inches tall. These past few days have been a wild adjustment into our world. For all of you who have kids, you know what I’m talking about. We’re getting used to the day to day and @sammidoll is already such a fantastic mother! They say your world can change in a blink of an eye. I remember experiencing that moment, down to the second when we got the news. There was a rush of emotion that enveloped my mind and body. No matter how prepared you think you could be, the amount of anticipation that comes with the unknown is unmatched. I got to the point in my life where I thought my purpose was to be a storyteller and leader for our fans. An artist for those who want to decorate their bodies and someone who would leave his imprint on earth through art that would outlive my time here. Now, I get to do all of those things and have a new travel buddy to pass down knowledge to. I now notice things in daily life that I never would have before. What kind of strollers mothers are pushing, dads playing with their kids. How parents talk to their young ones when they’re out of line. All of the details matter. I promise you little one, I’ll give you my all to make sure that you’re as strong and prepared for this world as you need to be. You have an amazing mother, who I couldn’t be more proud of. I never had a timeline for doing this, but I knew having the right partner would be instrumental.
