Here's a screenshot from a set of posters that I created. I'm a huge Hull City fan and I thought it seemed fitting to keep myself busy so I've designed these posters to promote the upcoming home game and the return of the football season.
In terms of the appearance I decided to go for a different approach to the usual sporting posters and went with a stripped-back minimal style. This would utilise the impact of the black and white photography, as well as the typography throughout the poster set.
*Please note these are not my own photographs used in the background.

Category Clothing is a clothing apparel start-up founded in 2012 by myself. The idea behind Category Clothing was to start a brand that I could design and then add onto t-shirts, hoodies and bags.
The brief I gave myself was to create a brand that would get recognised in my local area and then sell on to other regional areas with the help on an online store based on popularity. The thought process with the brands appearance was to create something that would be eye-catching in terms of using strong and bold colours/shapes, but also having a minimal style within this process.
When brainstorming for this brief I came up with the idea of creating a few different styles of clothing prints, either with a typeface based design, a shape with a typeface within and also an icon style print.
Throughout my time creating products for Category Clothing, I managed to gain a lot of local interest which enabled me to carry on creating pieces for the brand for another two years. As I got busier with full time work and other commitments I then stopped creating products for Category Clothing. It is always something I may look into taking up again in the future but nothing is imminent.

Curtis John is a clothing/accessories start-up founded in 2014 by London based model, Jace Moody. The idea behind Curtis John was to start a brand that would be worn for a smarter look and having the brand placed on products such as shirts, t-shirts and accessories like handbags and purses.
The brief I was given for Curtis John was to create a brand that would be fairly minimal in appearance but would have an eye-catching appeal to it with a up-market feel.
When brainstorming for this brief I came up with the idea of creating two alternate identities based on where the brand would be used. I felt that creating an emblem style identity which would be used on the majority of products would be a good idea, and also using the typeface that is in the emblem as a script identity as well.
The font that I used for this logo is Hoefler Text, which I felt gave the minimal feel that was required for the identity, but this was also striking enough and had the right appeal for the target audience that the brand itself is continually trying to attract.

Here’s a project I worked whilst working at Motor Depot. They required a branding identity to be created for a set of watches they had purchased, which they called Jam Watches.

Here’s a selection of banner projects I worked on whilst working at Top Cashback. These banners were for a range of companies that used the website as a promotional service.
