If Dave and Klaus get to reunite in season 4 (fingers crossed 🤞) what would your ideal version of that scene be? Asking cause you kinda seem to be the authority on them, lol

first of all, sorry for the (very) late reply. i personally live for commission!dave. in my head dave used to work for the commission (as an assassin) and then he either went and did something that pissed them of so bad (probably something to do with the love of his live and by extension the other brellies) that got him declared their enemy or he was just undercover (not at first, but after some time working there). I'm also a fan of the theory that five killed dave after hazel and cha-cha failed to do so. dave was clearly shot in the back, judging by the giant hole in his chest. entry holes are small, exit holes are huge. the coordinates of the briefcase that klaus stole from hazel and cha-cha - two literal assassins who work for the comission - were set up in a way that it would take them straight to dave's cot, since that's the exact spot where klaus ended up after opening it. which (to me) suggests they were actually after dave originally for some reason, but failed to kill him because the whole klaus thing got in the way. so, long story short: my ideal klave reunion would have been dave swooping in out of nowhere to help klaus and his siblings fight against the commission. i had a dream once where klaus and the brellies were in the middle of a fight (kinda like the bowling alley showdown but in the middle of a big city) and they had the upper hand until even more assasins from the temps commision showed up. dave was hiding on a roof the whole time since learning about the attack (which klaus and the others obviously weren't aware of) and once he realized klaus and his siblings were in trouble, started shooting the assassins sniper-style. klaus was like "there's only one person i know that can shoot ike that" and then dave just kinda revealed himself and klaus couldn't believe his eyes and they had the tearful reunion they deserved lol. maybe something like that could've been cool.

but they wouldn't even have needed to go there. just seeing them happy together for a few seconds at the end would have been enough. they could've given me ghost!dave and i would've been happy at this point. honestly, just a parallel of them meeting again looking at each other with tears in their eyes would've been so good. but even that was too much to ask i guess 🙃

why the FUCK did they include a shot in ep1 of Klaus pulling his dog tags out of the box of artifacts and staring at them longingly (why the fuck did he lose them in the first place? the same reason his tattoos disappeared? because steve blackman said 'fuck it'?) but then HE DOESN'T EVEN WEAR THEM FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON????

like, it's one thing to forget about a character's entire existence (rip Eudora Patch) but it's like. so unbelievably disrespectful to purposefully include an acknowledgement of one of the most important people in klaus' life and then just.......throw it to the wayside?? it genuinely would have hurt LESS if they didn't even do anything for Dave in the first place.
