Vince smiled, watching as she moved closer to him, he pushed the hat up as he weighed out the other options available to him. “well, I’ll have you know that I’m a professional at upsetting fathers. It’s something about me that truly upsets them.” He shrugged a shoulder, his fingers drumming against the surface, “I can think of a few things that we can do to pass the time. It won’t be illegal, i mean, unless we put a backseat to use. 

davina takes the hint, closing the space between them even more. “a professional father upsetter? interesting, do you have a business card too,” she teased. “i think we may be thinking along the same lines. not sure there’s enough room though in your car to reach full potential,” she smirked licking her lips.

davina needed tonight, more so than she probably wanted to admit. being in her house felt, claustrophobic. her father still believes he didn’t do anything wrong. they barely speak outside of events. if he said one more time ‘i just don’t understand what’s come over you’ davina was going to throw something. 

and then running into kol, well not knowing if she could trust him was driving her insane. tonight wasn’t about any of that though. tonight she was about hanging out with tori and forgetting all of the rest of it.

davina approached the other brunette with a mischievous grin. “hey you,” davina greeted pulling tori into a hug. she pulls away taking tori in. “you look killer tonight. not that i’m surprised.” davina laced her fingers with tori leading her past a line of others, impatiently waiting to get in the club. davina smiled up at the bouncer, who quickly gave the two a once over before letting the girls in ahead of the line.

“Define legal? Laws made by men were made to be broken. Doing anything else is not living up to your potential.” Vince leaned back on the car, “you have got to think big, my friend. You have got to think big.” 

“oh you know, things that won’t lead to me being a headline for one. i mean i’m pissed at my dad, but i don’t want to go too far. i’m not sure he would see your viewpoint when it comes to doing things outside of the norm views of what ‘legal’ is,” davina smirked moving closer to vince. “so what do you suggest? i do want to have some fun.”

davina hadn’t talked to fitz in a few days and since he wasn’t answering his texts she knew he must be working on his motorcycle. she had made her way to see him, adjusting her jacket in the cool air. as she approached him, she could see his back was towards her. not wanting to spoke him in the fear that he would turn around swinging the heaviest thing in reach, she called out to him with a safe distance between them. “hey stranger. ever heard of answering a text?”

“AH, SO HAVE YOU FINALLY DECIDED TO REDUCE MY SENTENCE TO A SILENT TREATMENT?” they didn’t use to be like this. in fact, the two used to actually have fun and be able to hold a conversation. now, it seems that whenever kol would walk into a room, davina would be quick to exit it — almost as if he was plagued with a contagious virus or something. 

davina didn’t have anything to say, so walking right past him without a second thought had been the game plan. his call out though wasn’t easily ignored and he knew it wouldn’t be. that’s why he had done it. he knew her to well in so many ways, which only irritated her more. “i don’t tend to acknowledge things that are insignificant. ie why i didn’t speak,” she retorted turning away from him.
