I love the version of "speaks-german-when-flirting" Erik. Mostly bc it would drive Charles absolutely mad. Like, Erik introduces him to his German friends with "Das ist mein Freund, Charles." (Translation: "This is my ..., Charles") And the world "Freund" can be translated into friend OR boyfriend in German. They would totally eat this up and as a German speaking person, this genuinely would make me so happy.

Anyways, that's my new head canon. What do you think?

It's very funny to me that nicholas hoult played a character (hank) that had to suffer the consequences of a bald man (charles xavier)'s situationship with his archnemesis (magneto), and he's now playing a bald man (lex luthor) in a situationship with his archnemesis (superman)

Yes, hello, second post on Tumblr, that's the good news, bad news, I'm still alive, very sad, anyways- :D

What if Charles loves chocolate. Like rlly rlly loved it. But Erik hates it. It makes him sick, nauseous even. Mostly because it reminds him of the time when shaw killed his mother, where just before he did it, he offered him chocolate. Left a traumatic emotional scar. Charles on the other hand now knows that Erik hates chocolate and tries to avoid it.

Halloween? Little candies and lollipops, but chocolate never in Erik's sight. Chocolate cakes? Covered up with icing so that the chocolate isn't visible. Christmas? The chocolate decorations on the tree always stay in the areas Erik might overlook them.

Till Erik finds out Charles is doing all this for HIM. And that Charles genuinely likes chocolate but isn't eating it (or eating it when he's not there) for his sake. So he get's over himself and starts making some chocolate brownies. PTSD resurfaces of course but he does it for Charles. The man who believed there was good in him when he himself didn't believe it. When no one would. And when he comes to Charles' bed with the brownies and a chessboard, Charles realizes that this has way more meaning that it would look like.

Long story short, later Raven finds them both in Charles' bed, brownies finished and chess set on the sheets, Charles gently caressing the rough hand of Erik and Erik smiling. A real smile, the first genuine one in what seems like forever.

this was definitely their first official date together and you can’t tell me otherwise

might’ve even been Erik’s first official date ever 👀

i definitely headcanon Erik not to have focused on romance and relationships while hunting down nazis and maybe only having a few one night stands here and there but no real dates 🤔

would also make sense how Erik never knew Pietro was his son and why we never got much backstory on his mum (desperately trying to fill in the gaps the writers left 😭)

but anyway look how fucking romantic this scene is 😭😭 they’re literally talking about the future together while playing chess and watching the sunset together
