Green Heritage China Lefton 8 Pcs (4 plates 4 cups) Roses Gold Trim SAUCERS TEA.8 Piece (4 plates and four matching cups) Harvest Green with Pink Roses.  Vintage Lefton China #3071 Handpainted Luncheon Scallop Plate Tea Cup Set, With Gold Trim (see pictures).  Excellent Condition.  Found no chips.  Bought at an estate sale.  Look unused.  Quite a find!Description:Prettiest of all pale greens.  It's sort of an antique green, soft and subtle, not bright.  It resembles celadon colored plates--a willowy green.  The pink roses and rosebuds are painted in both light and dark examples.  Beautifully detailed with leaves that are more of a true rose bush colored green, in contrast to the plate color.  To make them even more perfect they are all trimmed in real gold!  Just astoundingly beautiful in their creation.  They evoke feelings of nostalgia for a more romantic time.  Strolling through English Gardens.  Meeting for a secret triste.   These cups and plates are HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN.  The scallop shaped plates are perfectly designed to hold in your hand.  They are literally scalloped shaped (see pictures).   They are about 8 x 9 inches.  Slightly longer on the base of the scallop shape, to create the true scallop shape.  The cups feel like eggshells and perfectly rounded with a sweet scalloped / ruffled base (just wavy, not true scallop shape like the matching plates).  They are 2 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide, tapering down to a 1 1/2 inch base.  Full decorative handles, covered in gold.  Divot in the plate to securely hold the cup (ROUND INDENTATION TO PLACE YOUR CUP IN).  Everything is so fine.  They don't make stuff like this anymore.  Bottom is painted with their mark, insignia, logo, sign.  Selling only as a set, will not break up.  Write me with any questions.
