Trollhunter [Tales of Arcadia] x The Owl House AU :) Wanted to rework this AU xD then I ran into like 5 other versions but thankfully, from what I've seen I think my idea is original enough to stand on it's own? so... gonna go ahead and do some more art for it and share my ideas xD so take this as Part 1.

Jim Lake Jr. - Human Lives with his mother, Barbara, and accidentally finds himself in a world of witches and trolls. He trains under Blinky and Aaarrrgh to become a witch himself ~ using Blinky's staff and the glyphs to aid him (until eventually getting his own staff,,, or amulet??)

Toby Domzalski - Witch [Beast Keeping Track] First witch Jim runs into, and quickly they become best friends. He's a fan of creatures, and becomes a friend of Aaarrrgh too, trying his best to help him find out what type of Troll he is. His palismen is a lil Gnome called Chompsky.

Mary & Darci - Witches [Illusion and Bard respectively] Mary and Darci, friends of Toby's, at first don't trust Jim but quickly join his side and act as the brains and clown of the friend group. Their palismen: Mole called Mascot and raccoon called Jeans.

I choose their track and palismen, based on what I think they'd do? and what fits their personality or colours? I know Darci's colour is green, but I think she'd be more into Bard then Plant magic (Her magic colour would likely be green though).

Hopefully next post will reveal other characters, and their place in this AU, but basically these 4 would be in place of these characters if in canon: Jim - Luz, Toby - Willow, Mary & Darci - Gus. The story also would be a mix of both show's canons, and not quite follow only one of them xD more will hopefully be revealed in my next post.

Would you be willing to analyze the scene where Strickler is meeting with Not-Enrique and when Mrs. Nunez sees him he tells her 'Wish they could stay that age forever!" Because I don't know if he's being snarky or trying to soothe his guilty conscience.

And I think it's both honestly

First we can see from the start how Ophelia turns 'Enrique' away from Strickler which she probably does because she just doesn't want to annoy him. Or just because it's probably a bit uncomfortable-

Strickler turns NotEnrique to look at him after NotEnrique told him that he was in Trollmarket and Strickler get's very harsh and a bit rough with him. And after NotEnrique saw that Ophelia comes back he puts the blanket over his head.

Ophelia goes back an sees that. And for her it's very odd to see that her childs stroller stand different and towards the teacher and the fact that her child is literally coverd with the blanket over his head.

And I think it's also mostly the way ophelia looks at him. Because ofc she finds it weird, imagine you don’t look at your child for some minutes and when you look back some random teacher just aggressivly points at your Baby.

I believe that Strickler tried to ease the situation because he knows how weird it looks. He probably just said the first thing in his mind and it comes of a bit snarky. He's probably a bit sheepish because he got caught.

I would love to see Claire have a grimoir.

Can you imagine how gd cool that'd be? Filled with journal entries, all the spells she's learned, all sorts of cool ass stuff that comes with being a witch! I'd love to see her take an interest in a particular field alongside the magic use, like crafting magic items or learning more than just shadow magic through the staff once she grows more powerful!

Considering each of the Arcane Order is Bonded to a Titan, my guess is:

Nari’s Titan is, of course, Gaia or Rhea, The Titan of Earth and the Wild, respectively.

Skreal’s Titan is most likely Crius (Father of the Wind and Stars) or  Eurybia (The Sea, Stars and Storms) 

And Bellroc’s titan is probably Promethus (fire-bringer) or   Menoetius (titan of violence and wrath.)

WHAT IF TROLL SKIN WAS AN EXOSKELETON

Sorry, I got ten words into a fic that required a troll to encounter a caustic plant and had to stop and spend the next hour working through the logistics of troll skin.

Can we just take a minute to talk about how the other trolls were completely willing to run around the forge while it was set to kill, AND be tossed by Aaarrrgghh, all as a ruse to surprise Jim for his birthday? And how sad they were when Vendel stopped the party? It's so sweet when you think about it. Jim hasn't been their Trollhunter that long, on top of being human, and here they are not just accepting him but celebrating his birthday.

Jlaire week: Day 2-Of Magic and Swords

Went for a more serious tone on this one. One of my biggest disappointments in RotT was how underutilized Claire's shadow magic was. It was like they had no idea what to do with it so they just kinda ignored it.
