I've mentioned starting things being hard even if it's some stupid entertaining shit, like watching a show that I can drop anytime. The witch who've put this curse on me probably had an equally evil twin sister who gave me a matching curse that makes finishing things hard as fuck. I have something in my Google Docs that I've seen multiple people expressing a desire to have more in our fandom. All I have to do is add a one damn final line and edit it to put at least some commas where they should be. This is what truly made Sisyphus' afterlife activity such an assache, not shit being pointless and futile, not the stone being heavy and crushing his foot when it rolled down, just the pain and frustration of not being able to finish one stupid task when it takes little to nothing to just do it.

I was planning to maybe start watching TFA on the past weekend, yet ended up (reading Tolstoy and doing stupid walks for my stupid mental health) hesitating again. I hate how the fact that something was made for a younger audience can be such a fucking hurdle and keeping me from at least trying to enjoy it. Not very long ago, I've started familiarizing myself with more closely with the "Moomins" series, knowing that Tove Jansson started it as a light-hearted fantasy tale for children. And I fucking like it. But we all know how it is with TV shows. (Well, the second hurdle is, as always, my problem with starting things, desired or not. Maybe next day I'll blink and find myself three series deep into the second season, who knows.)

On the one hand, I can't deny that sometimes the power of an artistic brain overcoming the curse of censorship with creative ideas is TREMENDOUS. (Sadly, I'm not speaking about TF.) But on the other, hypercorrection and self-censorship in fandom spaces consisting of adults and teens make me wanna bang my head on the wall until I say hi to my neighbours through that hole. And on the third hand, I can imagine specific euphemisms existing in Cybertronian language. Why not, that's shit languages do. And in some situations, they can be put into some characters' mouths. They could make a good tool, highlighting, for instance, that state of negation, that fear of saying the word "dead" aloud because it feels like verbalizing it will make the death of a person more real or "true". (Not that a 4 million years of war can leave many people who aren't used to talking about death and killing, mind it.)

I'm sick of this fandom's obsession with using stupid euphenusms like pede, glossa, servo, derma, etc. instead of just fucking calling a foot a foot. You have to learn a whole fucking different language when you get in this fandom, and for no reason.

But the euphenism i hate the most is "oFflInE(d)" instead of "kill/die/dead/murder". Canon only ever used it because cartoons aren't allowed to say "kill/die/dead/murder", but most of the fandom just mindlessly clings to and parrots it without stopping to think for a second how stupid and unsuitable it sounds.

It completely ruins emotional impact and seriousness. The sentence is about a person dying, not about a computer losing the fucking WIFI connection!!

I don't know how to fix it besides never opening the "For you" tab, but it sometimes does a good job showing me old fandom posts that I otherwise had no chance to find on my own. If there is a way to do something with this shitty UX, please tell me. Because I sometimes think twice before even opening a post/blog that looks like it will fuck my dash so bad that I'll have to work like a shit-shark to make it bearable. Please, I hate TikTok reposts, I hate American political discourse and approximately 80% of their current pop culture, I hate feather-bedded LGBT+ discourse divorced from the reality MOST queer people have to live trough, I hate prepubescent kids posting about "gooning".
