Ignoring that anon, but are you black? I agree, you don't have to agree with or support what anon says, but if you're not black, you shouldn't be saying things like 'stop making black people victims'. you don't really have the right to say what makes a black person feel victimized or uncomfortable, because I assume anon was black. I like you, your art and ocs, and as a black person i really didn't agree with anon. but you, as a nonblack person, shouldn't be saying what and what can make a black person victim if you've never experienced antiblack racism.

Perhaps I should've been more explict than just use "we" and "us" throughout my last post, but yeah, I'm a black woman.

Everything I said in that post was based on my own experiences as a Brazilian black woman which includes quite the amount of Anti-black racism.

So yes, I have all the right to talk about what makes black people victims, and I should tell the first Anon to stop making black people victims cause intended or not victimisation of black folks through distorted narratives is a form of racism, a dangerous one cause this is very subtle. It's saying "black people don't get the same opportunities as white people" which is true, but then proceed with, "that's why black people are less intelligent" or other shit like that.

Heck, I've even got an historical example from my very own country:

Handmade dolls made out of knotted black fabric, created in the 80s by an afro-brazilian woman named Lena Martins to promote the anti-racism fight in our country.

Anti-black movements tried to erase the dolls true origins by spreading a fake story, saying they were actually made during slavery years by african mothers trying to soothe their daughters while on their way here on slave ships. And many people still believe in this story, even with historical evidence and the dolls' creator herself proving otherwise over and over.

Now, you see what I'm going for here, Anon?

The Abayomi dolls were a symbol of black empowerment, they are afro-brazilians, born free with a message of resistance. This fake sob story reduces them into a symbol of pain and suffering and turns their creators, who were fighters into victims.

That is victimisation of black people. And that's what the first Anon did by taking my post about a black woman having her happily ever after in an interracial relationship and going "white men can't be a certain way or the black women with them will be perceived as masculine"

I won't say there isn't a chance the first Anon had good intentions, but that's the problem with victimisation, sometimes you don't know you're causing more harm than good.

funniest 'Jason Todd comes back as red hood and starts talking to the bats without telling that he is, in fact, Jason Todd' trope is where Red Hood starts becoming minorly friendly with the bats and lets slip that Jason Todd is indeed still alive, but not that he is him.

now this can result in multiple outcomes, however i think the funniest possible version is the version where while Dick is bemoaning about the loss of his little brother and how great Jason is and how he wants to talk to him again, and without a second of hesitation Red Hood just nods his head and goes 'oh yeah, hottest robin by far, too. sexy as shit, that guy is.'

this results in the entire bat family fully believing that Jason Todd was somehow revived and taken to the LOA where he met and fell in love with this murderous assassin known as Red Hood, and the two are currently in a relationship.

Jason, petty and pissed at his family, decides: holy shit that's funny. and he goes along with it, meaning there are multiple occasions where we get interactions such as

Batman, brooding on a rooftop: the second Robin... he has always had such a big heart.
