Happy mother's day! 🎉
Noelani and Pamela from OLBA have been the best portrayal of moms in any media I have consumed. They are such comfort parents that to people like me who haven't had a stable home life growing up, we can always find an emotional home with them. ♡

I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl - OC/Character Concept
IDWTBAMG is being created by @kianamaiart
Cyra the Sun Guardian Dancer Cyra is a Sun Holder for the Star Guardians. She's always been neutral about being a magical girl. She's the kind of girl who will go with the flow and adjust as she goes. She's Aika's biggest supporter, telling Aika to live her dreams. If she wanted to be a normal teenage girl, why couldn't she be? Cyra is a hopeless romantic, many guys fall for her but she's never shown any interest. For a while, everyone thought she was aromatic or a lesbian, but when the guardians all ended up meeting Eclipse, she fell head over heels for him, she didn't know why she felt like she had the red string of fate on her finger pulling her to him, but enemies to lovers was the trope of the century so she wasn't going to fight the fates if this is what they were choosing for her. She would be considered boy crazy, but not in the sense of being in love with any guy. No, she was "boy" crazy, yes the quotations are in fact part of her title there since she's only crazy for Eclipse. She's had a few shenanigans where Eclipse would demand where the Star Guardian: Guardian of the Stars" would be located and Cyra would give him a random location, only the locations never had Aika appear at, but instead was a spot for what would seem as a date would be set up and her sitting there batting her eyes at the boy. Aika's pretty sure Eclipse hasn't clocked that she's been making romantic gestures towards him but it wasn't her place.
Cyra ended up being sent to Earth to learn how to be more responsible. There has been quite a few times she's lost something super important from putting it in the pocket of her dress, yes the dress has pockets, or just important documents and such and so they thought if they sent her to Earth to be responsible and no one there to help her, she would learn it the hard way. Cyra is also that girl who is really into fashion. Only problem is that she thinks the Y2K fashion is still trendy, even when Zira has tried to explain that the fashion trend is no longer a thing and that the trend has moved on. But Cyra pulls it off really well.
I had the silly idea of making a hopeless romantic crazy in love with the guy who thinks he's Aika's love interest. So it's just a silly little love triangle with silly plot moments of Cyra trying to get Eclipse on a date with her, while he is trying to catch Aika's attention. Think Dolores from Encanto with Mariano. Anyway that's my blurb and attempt at a character for IDWTBAMG, super excited to see what comes next and see the story play out!

one of the most important things about dissociative identity disorder and generally being a system that i wish people would understand is that it truly isn’t as cut and dry as it may seem for member count.
you’ll see people who say they have “six alters” and then immediately assume it’s six fully fleshed out equal individuals with no confusion or fuzziness regarding identity. that’s simply not true in a majority of cases, as i have seen.
most systems still VERY much deal with confusion regarding potential splits, go through dissociative episodes where they’re unsure of who they are, sometimes feel no attachment towards any identities, feel like they might have split and then suddenly that person is gone, unsure if alters they haven’t heard from often have gone dormant, not sure how to react when alters do come out of dormancy, etc.
it’s not a fun feeling and it’s genuinely unfair in certain situations to force systems to list every single alter to you with full certainty, as if it will never change. because it will. for so many different reasons, systems will grow, they will shrink, they will fuse, they will develop. you can’t expect the person with the dissociative disorder and lack of core identity to be able to keep up a perfected list of forever, it’s simply impossible. you may have alters who stick with you, but that doesn’t mean changes won’t happen.
and systems who may be reading this — please don’t feel bad. you are not a hassle, you are not a headache, and you are not an inconvenience for simply coping with something like this. it’s out of your control and the only thing you can do is continue to cope to find ways to help yourself retrain from these reactions. please don’t allow yourself to be harmed by others who don’t understand what you are going through. there are people who will accept and love you for who you are, all of you.
past, present, and future.

This is pretty embarrassing and such, but since you’ve been talking about sophie I wanted to talk about our personal experiences with her and how legitimately dangerous her behavior is.
We were originally pro-endo. This was before our full syscovery, we were in a denial phase from before we had brought it up to our therapist where we adamantly thought we were faking so our host at the time felt like they were missing something but weren’t willing to face that the rest of us ACTUALLY existed.
We ended up doing some poking around online about plurality and ended up on pro-endo tags and found sophie’s account. She talked like she was a true authority on the topic of systems and our previous host was looking for any kind of explanation or guidance. They ended up following sophie’s tutorials on ‘making a headmate.’ We were in a not so great roommate situation at the time, but we have a very high split tolerance, and would not have normally split due to that. We split. Our host also followed “tutorials” to switch, which just was basically just causing extreme disassociation. The system was set into disarray, our dissociative symptoms got so much worse, and we split a fragment that became severely depressed.
We have been working on everything for a few years since then, and things have mostly settled with the help of our therapist. This caused a massive system-wide incident though, and was incredibly painful for us.
Sophie is dangerous. She preys upon lonely people, people going through trauma, mentally ill people, minors who don’t know better, and anyone who she can catch. Do not trust her. Do not listen to her.
The funniest thing is that back when we ran an “endo” account on tumblr we got no hate from anti-endos (despite following advice from endos on ‘how to tag’ aka how to invade system spaces), but once we created our actual system account we have gotten plenty of hate from endos and sophie herself who constantly preaches about how attacked she and her little community are.
I'm sorry all that happened to you, I'm glad you've been working on things and I hope you're doing a lot better and in a safe place now.
Unfortunately with how Sophie runs her account, she does seem like she's an "expert" in all things plural, and especially with her being older in the community, she seems like she's someone you can look up to and trust, but that's simply not the case.
The two doctors she loves to talk about being "pro endo" are two against many, many other professionals and actual DID specialists who all agree endogenic plurality is a not a real thing. Dr Colin Ross "has produced no studies or research in relation to endogenic plurality. An email stating it might be possible, is neither evidence nor research. It is simply a baseless claim that requires evidence and research."
And Dr Eric Yarbrough "is not a dissociative disorder specialist. On his own website, he has stated "My career has been focused on the LGBTQ population"."
Here's a post I reblogged about them on my main blog! (Of which I quoted above!)
If I had been a lot younger coming across her page, I probably would've clung on to every word she said and believed it. I probably would've been pro endo. Shit, for a while, I was pro gateway system while also still being anti endo (a long story I cannot go into because of how personal it was and the trauma and abuse I endured from it).
Luckily I was older and out of the whole "gateway system" belief and still anti endo when I came across her. A lot of her "studies" do still, to this day, spark paranoia in some of our psychotic symptom holders, so we tend to steer clear of her bullshit in general, but sometimes it's important to talk about and knock down. Her "studies" she shares are not run by valid dissociative specialists and the "research" is a load of bullshit if you really look into it.
With how she is an open book in how she wants to manipulate people, invade as many spaces as possible, take away safe spaces from actual systems, how she wants to induce dissociation and hallucinations and trauma onto people to "make them plural", it's very obvious she's a dangerous person. But on the flip side, with how she words her things, like she's coming at you with open, accepting arms and just wants you to feel "safe" and "welcome", that's how she gets you.
It feels like a cult. As someone with legitimate cult trauma, this feels like a cult.
I do try to keep endo syscourse type things off of here, because I do believe many who claim they are endogenic are misguided and misinformed, and I don't support any hate being thrown their way. Though sophieinwonderland is someone that even other pro endos and self proclaimed endogenic systems cannot stand and are disgusted by.
