so i just got off the phone with my therapist and...the soul crushing anxiety? the bone crushing depression? the mood episode that was ruining my life and seemed to come out of nowhere as soon as I stopped cancer treatment??

IT'S FUCKING BENZO WITHDRAWAL. I AM IN ACTIVE BENZO WITHDRAWAL.

so fun cancer fact: since a lot of random drugs have the side effect of treating nausea, it's common for cancer patients to be on a lot of wild drugs like antipsychotics and benzos solely for the purpose of treating the pervasive nausea and vomiting that is a side effect of chemo. in my case, i was on the antipsychotic olanzapine and the benzodiazepine ativan. and once my treatment was finished, i just stopped taking both. chemo's over, no need for the meds anymore, right?

WRONG. Both olanzapine and especially ativan are drugs that you're supposed to be weaned off of, otherwise, in medical terms, they can really fuck up your shit. benzo withdrawal can cause seizures, although I'm probably safe from that because I was on a low dose. still, my therapist was like "DO YOU HAVE ANY ATIVAN LEFT?? TAKE AN ATIVAN RIGHT NOW!"

so now i am supposed to call my regular doctor and tell her that i'm in active benzo withdrawal but i don't need to go to the emergency room (usually when you are in active benzo withdrawal you are supposed to go straight to the emergency room), although i don't really know how i'm going to convince her other than telling her my therapist is handling it.

anyway even though i feel like shit this is the HAPPIEST i've felt in days because i finally have an ANSWER to what was wrong with me. i'm probably going to feel like shit for a few weeks until i'm weaned off the drugs but JESUS i can deal with feeling like shit for a few weeks as long as i know there's an end in sight.

The way this fandom transfers their irrational hatred for Rhaegar Targaryen and other Targaryens onto Jon Snow is so embarrassing and hilarious to watch.

Like Jon had to be hidden and grow up as a bastard because Ned's bestest friend ever would have murdered Jon as a baby and the rebellion murdered Jon's half siblings and Ned's mentor Jon Arryn rewarded the Lannisters for murdering babies and folks think that Jon is going to make out Rhaegar as the villain in all this? lolololol.

I hope Jon Snow goes - 'Wait, Rhaegar is my biodad?!' and then does a little happy dance and then we can watch the fandom collectively explode in rage.

I'm so happy to be able to draw again! ^^ I had to re-make the lips and the crown in my phone ☠️ I'm a perfectionist (who doesn't practice enough) it's a bit embarrassing for me to be posting something I'm not 100% proud of but I'm glad I sat down and did it. I'm super late for Elia week but here is my little contribution to our beloved Dornish princess 🧡🌼

Personal headcanon: She didn't use the crown she usually wears because she was expecting the crown that was rightfully hers 💔🥀 she was so excited to attend even if she was too weak from Aegon's birth.

Rhaelya fanatics: "YAS! IT'S A LOVE STORY! HAHA YOU MAD?

The "love" story according the books: A grown ass married man groomed a fifteen year old into escaping with him to a tower far away from her home probably promising the world to her only to impregnate her, not letting her go after she learnt her brother and father were brutally murdered by the married grown man's insane father in question only to leave her to rot and die in the tower for months.

The knights weren't protecting Lyanna, they were tasked to kill anyone who would come close (including Lyanna's family if it were the case) and protect "the promised one" that had to come from her and Rhaegar (obviously Rhaegar because in his mind if he can't be said prince, it has to be HIS son). And there is no way in the seven hells that Lya didn't know Rhaegar commanded them to kill anyone in sight or that her brother and father were brutally murdered thanks to Rhaegar's little escapade. But hey! Lyanna loved him to the end and didn't care about her own family looking for her, the fact that it could make her look terribly bad that people learned she escaped with a married man!

I mean, not only does he have to shepherd all his troublesome family relations around (Taqi al-Din, Tughtakin, al-Afdal, al-Zahir ...), there are also those pesky Franks clinging to the Holy Land like barnacles to the hull of a ship. Honestly, Elia is NOT talked about enough. Why was she just the MOST heartbreakingly tragic character of any ASOIAF/GOT plot line? If there's anyone who just didn't deserve their fates, it's Elia and her children.

I think it's fitting that Robert Baratheon, who hated the Targaryens, was so similar to Aerys in his dismissal of Elia and her children. Aerys scorned Rhaenys and said that she smelled "Dornish". Robert scorned Rhaenys and Aegon after their brutal murders and said that he "saw only dragonspawn".

I can understand Oberyn's obsession with avenging his family's murder when EVERYONE else preferred to sweep them under the rug and move on. No one else wanted to remember that their 'peace' was paid for with the deaths of an innocent woman and literal children.

This is a work in progress and it's not turning out like I wanted to because I haven't been practicing drawing for 3 years now but I'm just trying to catch her emotions during this! (And yes I know I f****ed up the crown😭)
