Between the sleepless nights,the curiosity if someone you lost in a lifetime hates you or still loves you,or the mistakes you live over and over again because you couldn't communicate in their language,and knowing that no one is perfect but still trying are enough to drive one insane. The longing of that connection you once had with someone so beautiful that the changes they made had you cringing with resentment in the very worst way even though you never wanted them to change for you because you wanted them to remain who they were. The things that remind you daily of the things you did together...looking to the stars,a long car ride singing music together,the way you laid in bed together while talking about the strangest shit that happened in their day, the way you would smile at them without them even looking at you,simple text messages of how your day was going,even the nicknames you called each other...are the things you miss fondly and still cherish to this very moment were what made everything worth it with them. Their voice will fade within time,their face will fade in time,their very existence will fade in time...but those memories you will hold to your heart and feel those significant heartstrings that they had placed within you will continue to beat like a war drum for all eternity no matter what the situation is or was.

My consolation when we aren't together is that we live under the same stars. I wonder if sometimes you stop what you're doing, go to your balcony and just look at the stars thinking about me... I do that almost every night wishing i was there with you enjoying this moment in your arms.
