Okay, so I know some people HC Clark and Bruce as looking similar and in canon they are, but I personally imagine them as looking very different and because of that I thought wouldn't it be hilarious if one of the Batkids took a selfie with Clark but accidently tagged it as Bruce, so some people start to post photos of the two but tag Clark as Bruce and Bruce as Clark, and it becomes an inside joke for people online and grows from there.

So one day, some inexperienced hitman does research on who he thinks is Bruce Wayne and ends up breaking into Clark's apartment ready to throw down only for Clark to sleepily sit up in bed and sigh, 'His house literally has his name in it. WAYNE Manor. You think a billionaire lives in a tiny apartment in downtown Metropolis? Really?' And after the confused hitman eventually leaves Clark just rolls over and snuggles against Bruce's back and mutters, 'You want me to call and warn Alfred?' But Bruce just grunts, 'you're kidding me right? If anything we should have warned the hitman about Alfred.'

Just saw this post from @ekingston and while what she drew is absolutely not what I thought it was, what I thought it was is too good not to share.

The first drawing is of Kara extending a protective arm in front of Lena, and the second is of Kara extending a protective arm in front of pregnant!Lena. Which is obviously delicious and I love them both.

BUT. The ask mentions Injustice, the game I believe, which iirc had Supergirl as an opponent/villain rather than an ally? So when I saw Kara's and Lena's faces in the first drawing before seeing the arm, it made me think of an authoritarian Kara who had basically taken Lena as a human consort.

If we meld in the cwsg canon, Lena's downward gaze seemed to me like a sort of solemn reflection of her circumstances. How, for so many years throughout their friendship, she had hoped maybe she and Kara could be something more.

Just not like this.
