EdTech: Course authoring tools..
For professional Course Authoring, In terms of Immersive learning and responsiveness, Captivate has VR, 360degree capabilities and more options for making responsive content. Simulation, demos, video based and responsive capabilities are great here. There are other players like Storyline but they are yet to get into immersive learning, VR based content creation capabilities. Responsiveness also has limited options. Comparing between the top players like Captivate, Storyline, Elucidat, iSpring, Captivate has more capabilities.

Mobile responsiveness in elearning course authoring. Captivate vs Storyline.
Responsiveness is really important for elearning. If you see Captivate 2019, the fluid boxes have been enhanced even more. The Fluid Boxes can be resized by using a percentage or to the number of pixels. The enhanced fluid boxes auto aligns to devices or browsers. You can use the predefined options as well. The UI and UX is neat because it enables auto align and auto adjust. The number of options for mobile, ipad, desktop etc is more and can be customised to the area too. In tools like storyline, it has just 3 options and it is very limiting in terms of the range of devices used for eLearning.

Interactive and integration features in e-learning tools.
The overlay slides feature is important in elearning because the interactivity brings additional learner engagement . in Captivate this is a simple but useful feature. Add the overlay feature in the timeline onto a video or other content making it interactive. Compatibility in terms tools for screen capture, integration with LMSs and SCORM etc are important and better here than the rest of the tools in the industry.
